Odunayaw:Who am I to refuse but na only the owner of the forum fit do that one. |

Amedino99:Sorry, I meant Anthony Dennis the Goztepe of Turkey midfielder and not Emmanuel Dennis |
solonnachi:There isn't. I get it that Raphael Onyedika and Fisayo Dele Bashiru are out injured but why reduce the midfield options from 7 the last time to 4 now? He should have picked three out of Christantus Uche, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Anthony Dennis and Alhassan Yusuf but he only picked one. Also, whats the point of an additional forward in Olakunle Olusegun? Like I talk before, I dey disappointed but I go tape my mouth until after the qualifiers. |
Underwhelming list for world cup qualifiers. Too lean in the midfield and heavy upfront. To say I'm disappointed will be an understatement. Hope we win the two games, and miraculously make it to the world cup. I reserve my comments on Coach Eric Sekou Chelle until after the qualifiers. |
izzou:Thank God say no be me talk am because one elder like that believes otherwise..... |
TemporaryHansel:It was like that but it was worked on, and now better. |
afrodoc2:Wedding to foreigner too na another route. We dey see pictures of this one wella online. I counted 10 oyinbo ladies wey dey wed Naija guys on the day I did my registry wedding in Ikoyi years ago, and this was before the whole japa craze and peak period. |
afrodoc2:Doki, no vex but make we leave the hidden post like that. Apologies for the ban. |
Trevor012:No be everybody wey dey japa hold bar. My daughter's home lesson teacher, a female corper I was paying 25k in 2021 to tutor my daughter enter UK like two months after she serve finish. She didn't show for like two weeks when she was teaching my daughter, and when we called she said she had an emergency and had to rush home. It was much later after she had passed out, and we saw registry wedding pictures and started seeing UK pictures that we pieced it together that she go do wedding things with her guy that period wey she no show. Na dependant package she take enter UK with her guy via study route. Dem sell properties, borrow money, still do POF runs just to raise bar for the waka. |
afrodoc2:Everything you posted is 💯. We wey dey town sabi her tori. |
izzou:Good feedback. Cc: Seun. |
Green is the thematic colour of the forum so I think it's understandable that some elements of the colour will be retained even in the dark mode. |
GloriousGbola:Izzou University of Bedmatics Science. I be proud 100L student. ![]() |
raumdeuter:There was an old French or Swizz Bank by that name, Societe Generale Bank so many erroneously thought the Nigerian Bank was affiliated to it, and had solid financial backing. Saraki too cleverly never dispelled those thoughts cos it was to his business advantage. Maybe that one too follow hoodwink people into doing business with the bank. The Nigerian Societe Generale Bank was a distinct business entity separate from the European bank, and was founded in the 90s I think. |
GloriousGbola:Banks advertised aggressively in those days, and their ads were so glamorous and audacious. I mean, their ads were by far the best on TV especially Bank PHB, Societe Generale Bank, Oceanic Bank and All States Trust Bank. The ads featured handsome, immaculately dressed. successful-looking and smooth talking men and women doing the most out-of-the world things. Even the accompanying soundtracks and slogans were memorable. I remember BankPHB's own in particular, impossible is nothing and one day cars will run on water. Okocha must have been enticed by Societe General Bank:s advert for him to have lodged $1m in the newbie bank because even then, there were older, stronger, and time-tested banks in the country |
raumdeuter:Both are bad but I think Not having had at all is better than to have had and lost. Not having had at all -You never get money before. You go still get hope and believe say breakthrough dey come, and that keeps you going. To have had and lost - This one dey brutal. Its more difficult to bear. You were once Aliko Dangote. You come crash, hit rock bottom and lose all your wealth. Everyone abandon you. Your mind no go touch ground and na your mental health go first go. The overthinking fit kpai you sef |
raumdeuter:No idea who they're referring to but it reminds me of a line of JayZ rap verse in Coldplay's lost remix. And the question is, "Is to have had and lost better than not having at all?" |
Seankafor actually deactivated his NL account. ....,......on 25th August. |
Too much noise and fixation on engagement these days. Like my Maale go talk, I get belle no be news, na I don born dey worthy of announcement. Ditto engagement and marriage. Anyways, I wish him an engagement that culminates in marriage. |
izzou:Cool. Oasisx is fun to have around ![]() |
izzou:Chill, na work in progress...... |
Where is diggz abi na digz? |
oloriooko:SA is just forming activity with the appeal. It can never be in their favour. Recent precedence is Equatorial Guinea. EG pursued the Emile Nsue case all the way to the Court of Arbitration in sports, and they still lost. FIFA rules are black and white so It'd be the same for SA with Teboho Mokoena. E go better make dem forgo the case. |
reccy:Congratulations. Now go win in the real world and life. |
izzou:He's been moving like he's interested in contesting but I hope he doesn't. PDP and ADC are courting him cos he's the only Southern candidate who is constitutionally limited to a single four years term and is barred from re-contesting, which guarantees a return of power to the North in 2031. They feel that'd be an easier sell in the North than the promises of Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi to do a single term. Naija now be like Further Maths, and is 100x more difficult than 2015. If GEJ barely passed the Maths exam hin write from 2010 to 2015, then e too sure say hin go flunk this Further Maths exam of today. Funnily enough, as much as I like him, and supported him in 2015, I do think Peter Obi and PBAT are more suited to be at the helm of affairs now than Jonathan. Anyways, until hin talk with him mouth say hin go contest, I will continue to believe otherwise. Make hin no ruin the nostalgic respect and fondness that Nigerians have for him. |
Bimmarlykay:She dey clout chase and dey do attache by force, how? |
Ibime:You know Black Americans were vexxed by Tyla referring to herself as coloured instead of Black so many Black American influencers called for the boycott of Tyla's album on social media and in their communities. Tyla's album initially flopped in the early weeks after release before it rallied, and eventually finished average. I think the blowback Tyla got from Black Americans must have weighed on Tiwa's mind for her to have issued that apology. Tiwa is a deeply cultured and respectful person and simply did Omoluabi things by apologizing on behalf of her younger sister but S. Africans who are still stuck in apartheid victimhood and overly sensitive about race are just para-ing for nothing. Abeg, make dem free Tiwa. |
Ibime:Na only person wey dey follow SA affairs go know their race classification. Tiwa meant well, and I no go too blame her. She dey form african solidarity and elder but South Africans were having none of it. Tiwa Savage: “Where I am from, when something like that happens, The elder will come on behalf of the young one to apologise. Hahaha. If that wasn’t communicated well, on behalf of her, I would like to apologise'Lastly, the fact Tiwa is Nigerian and South Africans have beef with Nigeria(ns) also fuel the matta. |
I'm Just Catching Cruise - Mandy Kiss Begs For Forgiveness Over 100-Men SexBlueRayDick called it. Raum be disappointed and will have to cancel his flight to Nigeria to partake in the marathon. ![]() |
Shegzdave:Happy birthday, congrats on being +1. |
raumdeuter:Would a person who walks same distance and equivalent steps on a daily basis due to a lack of choice, perhaps insufficiency of funds also experience similar outcome and derive benefits in terms of physical fitness? |
