The MTN Foundation Science & Technology Scholarship scheme seeks to attract high performing full time students studying in public tertiary institutions (universities, polytechnics and colleges of education) in Nigeria. The scholarship provides financial assistance to students who might otherwise be unable to pay for their tertiary education and aims to recognize and reward academic excellence.

A maximum of 500 qualified and successful full-time Nigerian students studying science and technology related courses are awarded the scholarship which covers tuition, book allowance and stipends. The scholarship is renewed every year until graduation for existing awardees provided they have maintained a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or its equivalent (second class upper/upper credit) while new applications, when advertised, are welcome from full time students in their second year of study.

Since 2010, over 5,000 scholarships have been awarded. The scholarships, awarded on an annual basis, is worth N200,000.00 (Two hundred thousand Naira). This covers tuition, book allowances and living allowances for one academic year.

I think PyPI is the official package index software for python.

Install that, it has libraries of thousands of packages. So all you need do is search for the package you want on it.

Why is everyone always so scared of Java?.. Like what's the big deal in it?

This is not meant to be a rant but I just thought it would be nice to point out this pitfall so that both inexperienced, as well as upcoming developers, can get a heads up. Time and time again I come across programmers who are "framework-infected". That is their knowledge of a particular language is centered around a framework such as Django, Ruby on Rails, React, Symfony, etc. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with having good knowledge of a specific framework, (after all, you would need this knowledge to land a job most times). But the danger for framework-infected programmers is that they attempt to learn a programming language through one of the popular frameworks for that language and I believe this to be a dangerous mistake.

For example, I have come across programmers that know Jquery but don't really know JavaScript. Take Jquery away from them and they struggle to produce anything worthwhile in JavaScript. I think this trend of attempting to learn a programming language through a popular framework is motivated by the fact that people want to get productive very quickly and probably land a job in the shortest possible time. While this might pay off in the short term, it is however not sustainable. Framework-infected programmers are generally not very well grounded in the programming language of their adopted framework as their knowledge of the language is at best framework-centric.

If you are an upcoming programmer, my advice is not to worry about any framework and focus on learning your language of choice properly(i.e both syntax and semantics) after which learning any framework based on your language of choice will be a breeze. After all, Django is still Python, Rails is still Ruby, Symfony is still PHP.

You keep forgetting because you try to cram codes.

The best way to learn python is to pick a simple project and work on. You cannot learn it by just memorizing syntax.

You can search online for basic python projects like, "roll a dice", "guess the number". Work on projects and gradually you'll understand it

Well, I don't really blame them since the only phone they have used all their lives is an infinix device.

I was once in their shoes about 4years ago. I defended infinix with my sweat and blood back then till I bought my first Samsung. That's when I realised some very obvious difference in phone's quality.

They won't fully grasp how mediocre these infinix phones are till they use something else for a change. Anyone that has tasted top quality mobiles like Samsung, Huawei, Redmi will never even for once dream of returning back to shitty Transsion devices

Smiles, Redmi is not Transsion that lies about Device specifications. Xiaomi operates under EU and US regulatory bodies unlike Transsion that has no international supervision.

And why do you all keep referencing "reduced cost"?.. we've disproved this statement severally, pointing out the fact that Transsion doesn't account for cost. Yes, they are pocket friendly devices, but the mediocre chips used still doesn't account for the low cost.

I've brought up this example before, the Redmi note 7 3/32 variant costs a meager 49k on jumia. This is relatively cheaper than the Infinix s4 and the Redmi also accounts for cost-benefit with a more sophisticated build.

I'll say this one last time, Transsion is not cost efficient. They product terrible mobiles at average prices while Redmi produces high end mobiles also at average prices. So which product should a sensible person go for?

Are you sure you ever sat down to study English Language?... Either you mistook my statement or you just lack simple understanding.

First of all, I never compared phone's camera to the human eye. The human eye perceives up to 576Mp which is far above the capacity of any phone's camera.

That statement I made was to point out the fact that phone manufacturers are already beginning to attain peak quality hence focus is gradually shifting to top zooming, telephoto, live focus functionalities all this of which am sure the infinix s4 lacks. That's why phone manufactures are introudcting dual camera, triple camera and the likes to account for other important functionalities of the camera.

Look at the infinix s4, it has three cameras (basically useless).. Because none accounts for enhanced zooming, none accounts for live focus, none fitted with a telephoto lens. Just 3 useless cameras to brainwash the masses.. Pathetic!!

Anyone using an infinix s4 and wants to prove me wrong should please snap a picture at highest zoom capacity let's really see how clear it is. You lots just keep living in the past

For your information, this is how the camera on almost all new phones are ... Most phones are already attaining peak photo quality that a human eye can perceive. So nowadays, camera strengths are rated on how good the zooming and focus functionalities are.

Just zoom a little bit on that s4 and you will start seeing white dots ...

I find it difficult to understand why a sizable amount of viewers are really enjoying this show.

The episode one was fantastic, episode 2 average and it has been rather vague from episode 3. I really tried watching through the episode 3 but it seemed so uninteresting to me.
