Jarus:
How is orange comparable with apple. I'll go with Honda Accord(2009) anyday.
lol @ Orange and Apples. Actually, there's a feeling that comes with a jeep which I wanna feel. Also cos of d bad roads in naija, I think a jeep will do. The Kia Sportage is more fuel efficient, and d Honda Accord is everywhere in lagos  angry

Yeah am confused, but my mind seems set on d Sportage. I just need someone to agree with me so I don't look like d only stupid one. . .pleaseeee!

CareerRe: Pls I'm Confused I Need Advise On My Career by server34(m): 8:20am On Nov 24, 2009
First of all, Comp. Sc or Statistics or Mathematics - No way! you are better off with your Physics. Don't mind the people who say u can't get anything with a B.Sc Physics. They are short-sighted (-2.5  tongue). And did I hear u say your first semester GP was 4.01? Dats very good and u gotta keep it up.

All u need is motivation, check google and do a search on the kinda jobs u can get with a B.Sc Physics. See how broad physics is, and u'd be motivated. U can probably take up the Geophysics option in your final year, and if u graduate with the 4.xx GP, u'd be on your way to start a successful career in the Oil & Gas Industry. Geophysicists are highly needed and highly regarded in the Oil industry, equally as Engineers.

If u can cross over to Elect Elect, good. But don't see dat as a last resort.

If I were in your position, I'd love physics and build my GP. Aim to have a Career in Geophysics (probably with a masters degree in dat), and put in a lotta effort to dat.

Peace!

@ topic - AND VICE VERSA!!! Why all this noise? Is it because we guys dont talk about all the married women that we date? We usually keep it on the low. Maybe we should start sharing our experiences so that everybody will stop complaining.

Jarus, I think ur doing a good job with ur posts, they are very educating and inspiring. But I also think some of ur comments are unnecessary and pompous. Try 2 keep it on d low most times ok?. . . my2centimes. . . Plus I think u shouldn't have moved to the Oil sector from your previous job. because I can see you are obviously very good with the economics and investment sturvs, sadly however the engineers/geoscientists run the show within the oil (producing) companies. The money is good yeah, but please always do ur investment/economics thingz on d side. . . . don't let dat slide. . .
