99.99% of Nigerians have their inverters and batteries inside the house. Where would you rather keep it? At least if it explodes, in this case it explodes inside an inverter room. Most houses don't even have inverter rooms. It is kept anywhere there is space - kitchen, living room, under the stairs. . .

Hello guys, pls hw much will it cost me to clear benz ML350. Am planning to bring in two of them, 2011 & 2013.

As previous posters have said, I do not wish this illness even for my enemies. It is annoyingly painful and uncomfortable. I suffered haemorrhoids (pile) for over 10yrs. Tried various traditional and western medicines, stayed off sugar and solid foods for years - still no relief until I had my first surgery 5 yrs ago. I felt like a new man after the surgery and I was able to enjoy life like every normal being.
Forward 5yrs later, exactly 4 weeks ago, the pile resurfaced. Both internal and external. Painful and uncomfortable as usual. I was already planning for my second surgery until I came across the following drugs (via google search):
1. Hem-relief 911 for haemorrhoids
2. Preparation H ointment and suppositories
3. Tucks haemorrhoidal pads
4. Complete colon care.
As desperate as I was, I used all of them at the same time, so I cant really say which one in particular did the magic. But I have listed them above in order of preference.
The pains and discomfort were completely gone in 3-4days. The external pile completely vanished after abt 3 weeks. Blood also disappeared in abt 3 weeks showing that the internal piles were healed also.
I also kept a healthy diet and stayed of alcohol during this period. Used stool softners once in a while. Dampen toilet tissue in warm water before use.
The relief I feel today is even better than when I had the surgery.
Note: drugs could work differently for different people. The above is my own personal experience.

Probably caused by heat and friction. I recommend you use medicated wipes to clean the area, and apply a cream that prevents heat like Vecuten. Do this 3-4 times daily, and come back to thank me after a few weeks.

@ SefB, if you want work experience to count in your application to the IFP, it has to be relevant to the program you are applying for. Take a look at the course content of the program on the website, and ask yourself 'Do I know one or two things about these topics?' . Otherwise your selling point should be your good B.Sc degree in petroleum engr, a strong desire for a career in d oil and gas industry with willingness and capability to learn fast, and of course, evidence of self financing is important as T22 mentioned.

Your best bet in getting into the IFP is through scholarship (most likely Total). You can be shortlisted for this by submitting an unsolicited application @ careers.total.com
Second best option if you dont get a scholarship and wish to be self-sponsored is thru admission into the petroleum engineering masters program at texas a&m univ. i.e. do the GRE and TOEFL, apply to texas a&m, if you are successful and granted admission, you can then use this admission to apply to IFP asking for a joint masters with TAMU. Wishing u d best.

The Institute of Petroleum Studies (IPS) in port-harcourt is equally a good program as the IFP. You should also apply for this program when the vacancies come out usually around october. From my experience, chances of employment in the oil and gas industry in nigeria is even greater for IPS grads than IFP grads.

Before the ramp, If I leave office @ 4.30, I get home 5.30 (~1hr). If I leave @ 6.00, I get home 8.30 (~2.5hrs)
Now, If I leave office @ 4.30, it takes me until 6.00 to get on the other side of the ramp, and I end up getting home @ 8.30 (~4hrs).  4hrs - 1hr = 3hrs! Q.E.D!

That Bridge/on-ramp/ramp-down or whatever you learned ppl call it, whether with good or bad intention, whether cheap or expensive, all that matters to me (a commoner) is that my travel time home-office-home has increased by 3hrs/day since its inception. . . TOTALLY USELESS!!!

Well, for me, we have been nacking for 2 years now without complaints.

I decided to take another chance and let her visit again for 1 week. But this time, she paid her fares, cos she could already sense that I was suspecting games. She came and the same thing happened - cold attitude, forced sex, used me as her driver to go shopping and do stuff, but visited male friends on her own. Dear Nairalanders, I thought I could solve this all by myself but here I am desperately seeking for advice.

I reside in Abuja, and there's this girl I met about 4 months ago through facebook who resides in the USA. We got chatting, webcam, e-mails, telephone calls, skpe, etc. like every minute for the next 2 weeks. We got along real great, and we started dating. We were so into each other even though we had not met physically. 2 months ago, she asked to come visit me in Nigeria for two weeks that I was gonna pay the bills. I agreed for the love we shared.

When she arrived, she suddenly turned cold towards me. I remember begging for at least a hug at the Airport. She came to my apartment, and there was no chemistry whatsoever like we shared through the internet. I asked her the reason for this, and she claims she is just getting to know me and needed time to build a relationship. Same relationship that she used to tell me over the phone "I love you, and can't live a day without hearing from u". To cut long stories short, out of the two weeks she stayed in Nigeria, she stayed only about 5 days at my place. She spent the rest of the time visiting friends, ex-boyfriends, family, dating, shopping, distributing gifts (she didn't bring any gift for me), making her hair, and girl stuff. We had sex once, but to me dat was rape, cos there were no emotions shared.

Then she returns to the US and leaves me feeling av been used. I decided to move on. But NO WAY! She starts calling, skype, chatting, facebooking, etc, again. Saying I miss you, and I love you. She is gonna come to Nigeria again soon. Now am confused cos I really really like her cos she's pretty and smart. I loved her! Is she doing all this to use me again? Should I agree for her to come and pay the bills again? She is gonna move finally back to Nigeria in a couple of months. Guys, this could be my dream girlfriend and future wife, but I just need to know if am being used. I can't afford to get hurt again.
