RomanceRe: Can You Explain Exactly Why You Love Her? by Seun(mod): 6:45pm On Nov 26, 2005
Actually, the things make a man to love a woman can be classified into three categories: assets, history and personality (in decreasing order of prominence!)
FashionRe: Why Are Our Ladies Not Dressing Decently? by Seun(mod): 5:30pm On Nov 26, 2005
The issue of what kind of person is decent and what kind is indecent varies from culture to culture, and person to person.

Which of the following do you see as being indecent when worn by lady?
- Men's trouser.
- Body-hugging trouser.
- See-through body-hugging trouser.
- Sleeveless blouse.
- Body-hugging blouse with a bra.
- Body-hugging blouse with an undershirt/singlet.
- Body-hugging blouse without a bra.
- See-through blouse with a bra
- See through blouse with an undershirt/singlet.
- See-through blouse without a bra.
- Mini-skirt.
- Blouse showing your bely-button
- Skirt with a long slit that shows your knees.
- Blouse that shows the tip of your cleavage.

Which of the above would you clasify as being indecent? Can we be a little bit more imprecise? Because you might be complaining that some other girls are dressing indecently, meanwhile others are looking at you thinking, "why can't christyne dress more decently?"

What is an 'aristo'?
Christianity EtcRe: Biblical Contradictions: What should we believe by Seun(mod): 12:36pm On Nov 26, 2005
Some of these contradictions can be solved, explained away, or dismissed as irrelevant. I'll leave that to the Christians like Layi and donnie.
RomanceRe: How we treat Love in Nigeria??? by Seun(mod): 12:33pm On Nov 26, 2005
sirbuddy:
In Nigeria, i would like to know if we really appreciate LOVE and if we truly abide by the rules governing LOVE.
What are these rules guiding love that you're wondering if Nigerians follow? huh
FashionRe: Why Are Our Ladies Not Dressing Decently? by Seun(mod): 12:32pm On Nov 26, 2005
How would you define 'decent' dressing? Do you mean covering your whole body including your face like the Arab women?
PhonesRe: Phone Tip of the Day: how to Block Your Caller ID by Seun(mod): 12:30am On Nov 26, 2005
I am unable to see how this feature can be used for legitimate purposes - most of us don't like being called or flashed by anonymous persons.

Yes, Nike, I also want you to know what you did and what happened afterwards! How exactly did he convince you of the idea that seeing your **** was his right? huh
PoliticsRe: Bayelsa State Governor Escapes from London, UK (Now in Nigeria!) by Seun(mod): 10:07pm On Nov 25, 2005
I think he's going to be impeached. Once he is impeached, he can be bundled into a plane and sent to England to serve his jail term. When he returns to Nigeria, he can be charged again for the funds embezzlement through which he got this money in the first place.

Since he doesn't have any suport outside Bayelsa State, he is unlikely to escape from justice. Even his supporters (Ijaw Youth Congress) are beginning to say he can be impeached and prosecuted as long as it is done 'through the laid down process'.
Forum GamesRe: What Are You Thinking Right Now? by Seun(mod): 3:42pm On Nov 25, 2005
I am thinking, "I'm here; where's everybody else?"
RomanceRe: Would You Date a Blue-Collar (Manual) Worker? by Seun(mod): 12:38pm On Nov 25, 2005
Note for everybody: A blue-collar worker is a working class employee who performs manual or technical labor, such as in a factory or in technical maintenance "trades," in contrast to a white-collar worker, who does non-manual work generally at a desk.
RomanceRe: After a Date, Penpal Says, "I don't like you as much as you may like me" by Seun(mod): 12:33pm On Nov 25, 2005
It means she has evaluated you and you don't measure up to her standards for dating. But she's nice, and she feels that you like her, so she's saying she won't mind being a friend. Sorry, mate, you have been summarily rejected!

This is not to say that it is not possible for her to fall in love with you next year, but pigs might have to fly first. Is she white and are you black?

From the first post:
"In addition, he will forfeit all his assets, shares and landed property acquired with the fund stolen from the police treasury. The assets totaled 150 million US dollars, included money stashed in banks, shares in blue chip companies and 14 luxury buildings."

Nairaland GeneralRe: Happy Thanksgiving Y'all. by Seun(mod): 10:49pm On Nov 24, 2005
ocho: People campaigning for mosquito rights when human beings aren't getting theirs? Wonders shall never cease! No, I am not an animal rights activist but I would be happier if farm animals can be killed a little more humanely (by injection or something?)

So, about thanksgiving. What exactly are you Americanas celebrating on thanksgiving day?

BusinessRe: Your Bank Might Be Defrauding You? by Seun(mod): 7:52pm On Nov 24, 2005
Such people should be reported to management and sacked. People who are not trustworthy should not be working in a bank at all!
Nairaland GeneralRe: Happy Thanksgiving Y'all. by Seun(mod): 7:33pm On Nov 24, 2005
The image in that picture is nothing but a gross violation of turkey rights! So tell us about this Thanksgiving holiday; what is it all about?
Nairaland GeneralSite, Server or Network Downtime by Seun(mod): 7:15pm On Nov 24, 2005
Hello,

The Nairaland Server went down a few minutes before 6:30am this morning (just after I left my PC) and was brought back up a few minutes after 7pm this morning (when I retunred to my PC). I am very, very sorry. I'm wondering what I can do to prevent this from happening in the future. For example, if someone had alerted me, I would have fixed it much earlier.

If there's a conspiracy between the British Government and the FG, then why was he granted bail against the wishes of the attorney-general, which gave him the opportunity to escape?

PoliticsRe: Bayelsa State Governor Escapes from London, UK (Now in Nigeria!) by Seun(mod): 6:55pm On Nov 23, 2005
otokx, you are missing the point. The Attorney-General went to London to testify that this man is likely to escape from the UK if granted bail, and this is exactly what he did, showing that the Attorney-General was telling the truth.

CelebritiesRe: Most Beautiful Nigerian Actress/Actresses by Seun(mod): 10:41pm On Nov 22, 2005
I like her looks. Caroline Ekanem reminds me of Regina Askia. Too bad the only picture of her on the net looks horrible.

Joftech, the report you linked to (ElenduReports) lacks credibility. Even within the body of the article, there are discrepancies.
ComputersRe: I Think Nigerians Need Macintosh Computers! by Seun(mod): 9:40pm On Nov 22, 2005
I agree with Bibi. If we are moving away from Windows, we should be moving to systems based on Linux because they are inexpensive, secure, highly configurable, and have an abundance of free software. Afterall, we live in a country where price matters.

As a former Apple Macintosh PC user, gbade.x is in the best position to let us know its advantages. We're listening wink.
