Osama Bin Laden paid for his crimes with his life, which is the greatest punishment that can be inflicted in the civilized world. Hitler was forced to commit suicide, which is basically the same thing, though it would certainly have been nice to get to display his rotting carcass in public. Prevention is more important than punishment, though. Strong international bodies like UN and NATO and EU were created to make it hard for idiots like Hitler to start big wars. The US started a war on terror which was supposed to protect Americans from Osama Bin Laden's successors.

God's justice is unhelpful, at best. We need human law enforcement and justice, which we can constantly improve until we're satisfied with it.

Most men can instantly "cure" themselves of abdominal obesity by simply sucking in their bellies. You can relax your tummy muscles fully to make your pot belly seem bigger than it normally is and then suck it in with all your might to make people believe you've been instantly cured. You can hold it in for a very long time if you're not distracted.

We need to improve our justice system to ensure that most of these people will be caught and punished appropriately in this life. We also need better policing to reduce the number of crimes committed. This is how countries become civilized, and not by indulging in fantasies. Hoping that someone will judge criminals after they die at a ripe old age doesn't prevent or discourage crime, particularly when the supposed judge is happy to completely forgive any criminal who asks for forgiveness before dying and send him to paradise.

Dry dog food is cheap and contains all the protein that your dog needs. Arion is the best I've tried; you'd be tempted to taste it. I think it's best to feed the exact amount indicated on the pack. I've measured my dog's weight and I use a kitchen scale to measure the dog food. With this I know that my dog has all the protein and calories and minerals he needs. After his meals, I might give him some chicken bones or raw chicken.

You should probably meet the seller in person to inspect the dog and make the payment. Take your vet doctor with you to examine the dog.

I can go all day...Miracles that medical practitioners cannot dispute, because records are there... multiple records.

He that comes to God must first believe that he is...... You can't arrogantly ask your dad to give you a million, just so he can prove to you that he is rich.. If want God to prove himself to you, first, you have to humble yourself, pray and ask him for the revelation of himself.

Though I am believer in the Christian faith, I have always asked myself questions such as that. I have never allowed my belief to cap my critical thinking ability. I am not dogmatic believer. Many more questions like...

(1) Why didn't he destroy the devil in the first instance after he and other angels fell? Why would he allow the devil to lead Adam astray and wait till judgement day thousands of years later to judge mankind?

(2) Practically speaking, we have far more non-believers on earth than true Christian believers. How can someone tell me that God won through the salvation brought forth by Jesus when satan has more 'disciplines".

(3) Why place a tree of the knowledge of good and evil on the same garden you have Adam and Eve. More common sense will tell you that if you don't want anything tampered with, you keep it out of reach. Even a 12 year old child knows that.

However, I still fully accept the Bible because God understands mysteries that we don't understand. He is God and he owes no man explanation. Besides, we are saved by faith not by sight (proof/evidence).

Isn't it convenient that you happen to have been born into the right religion? Can you imagine how lost your soul would have been if your parents were muslims? You'd be saying that Allah is Allah, so he owes no man any explanation, & we're saved by unquestioning submission.

I think we could be here for a very long time unless there's a religious nuclear war. The earth can certainly accommodate more people than it does today, and our population growth will surely go down as more people become educated and start using contraceptives. Global warming will cause enormous problems especially in islands and coastal regions, forcing many people to move to high altitude areas, but it won't threaten our survival. After a very very long time we might run out of land after wiping out nature and filling every inch of land with skyscrapers. At this point, rich people will start moving, but not to Mars. Instead, they will move into gigantic nuclear-powered floating islands.

I was going to suggest that the lady should cut her nails and wear pyjama bottoms at night, but then I decided to read the original story:

Anyway, a few years ago I visited a church where the congregation was largely African. I’d gone there for prayer about one thing, but the pastor there changed my life completely. He told me that I was being raped by a demon and that I had given this spirit access to me because I watched pornography. I would feel a sort of pain on the inside of my genitals; but I dismissed it because I was a virgin and didn’t lose my virginity until I was 25-years-old. It was after college that I had gone to the church I mentioned before. As you can imagine, having someone tell you that you’re being raped by a demon is very frightening.

I remember after that day, for about a year I couldn’t sleep in the dark. I would stay awake all night and sleep during the day. I thought, “If I could just make it until the sun comes up, I’ll be okay.” My monthly became VERY painful and VERY messy. I’d never been so afraid and alone in my life…nobody could help me. And to tell the truth, I thought that pastor was the worst person alive for saying something like that to me. I didn’t really believe him until years later.

Notice how she didn't mention "fingernails", "scratches" or "wounds" but you added those words in your retelling of her story? That's how testimonies develop. Notice also that she didn't associate the "finger marks" which started in college with sex dreams. In fact, she didn't say anything at all about having sex dreams. She only said that she was addicted to pornography. Notice also that she retained her virginity for 14 years after the demon is supposed to have started raping her, which is amazing: rape victims tend to lose their virginity during the ordeal.

The saddest part is that being diagnosed with the demon rape, accepting the diagnosis, and praying for deliverance has not helped her:

My life has been difficult. Hurdle after hurdle after hurdle. Fight after fight. No relationship with a man in five years. Confusion (not knowing what to do from one moment to the next). It has been HARD. What that pastor told me has always stayed in the back of my mind. Until recently, I have always been too frightened to really look into what he said.

Now that I have, I am on the hard road to recovery. I am looking at my life and taking an inventory of it. I realize…I admit, that I suck (excuse my language). For someone who calls herself a Christian and a believer, I have SO much work to do. So now I am on the road to deliverance.

I believe it will be one that I will have to work on and fight for because these demons will not let go without a fight. But a few months ago when my life was simply in shambles (even more than it is now), I asked God for the truth. I told Him that I needed the truth badly so that I may be set free. And praise Him, that’s exactly what He gave me.

He has given me the truth; and I would encourage you to ask God to show you what you need to do and where you need to go. He is merciful. I know you want to give up. A few months ago I was evicted from my apartment and tried to commit suicide. But praise God I failed!

She sounds like someone who has recently developed mental health problems, but she won't seek medical help because she thinks a demon is raping her. The demon apparently started raping her at 10, but it's only during the last 5 years that she's had no relationship with a man.

The church could allow its members to keep their tithes and first fruits so the money will be used more productively in the useful-stuff economy.

According to 2 Peter 3:9, God doesn't want anyone to perish, so I don't understand why he would be reluctant to prove himself by answering prayers that no atheist would be able to explain away. According to Exodus, he proved himself to the Egyptian Pharoah 10 times. Why not us?

I am a witness to a lady whose genotype was changed from SS to AA, she is alive and living and she doesn't have any sign of being a sickle cell patient.

Today she is with a baby girl; a living testimony. The documented evidence is there. You can visit all the hospitals she went for test and confirm yourself.

Do you really think that the woman's belly got swollen due to some mysterious disease, and then due to her prayers, God decided to replace the diseased tissue with an 8 month old foetus? Don't you think it's more likely that she was pregnant all along and the tests were simply wrong?

Most genuine Christians were born in Christian families. They started going to church with their parents as kids. Most genuine muslims were born in muslim families. I bet that you are no exception, as parental indoctrination is the most important reason why religion persists.

Another thing you have to understand is that God does not send anyone to hell, men choose to go there. At the second coming of Christ, the unbelievers in the world would have already condemned themselves because when you reject the Gospel of Christ, you are rejecting Eternal life, and when you reject eternal life, you are automatically asking for Eternal Damnation. So you see, Christ does not send anyone to Hell, people chose Hell for themselves.

This is as illogical as saying a rape victim "chose to be brutally raped" because he/she refused to have voluntary sex with the rapist earlier.

One more thing, that you don't believe in God does not mean he doesn't exist. The creation is the number one testimony of God's existence and sovereignty. That you do not see air does not mean it do not exist. That you do not see radio waves and tv waves does not mean it do not exist.

You do not see air, but you can feel it physically when it moves and confirm its existence with scientific instruments and experiments. Radio and 'TV' waves can also be detected with scientific instruments. The same cannot be said about God, who exists only in our imaginative minds.

Yes. They make educated guesses about disasters that could happen and then ask us to pray against their guesses. If they turn out to be right, they are perceived as great prophets. If they are wrong, it's because the prayers worked. But we'll only remember the ones that were right.

Critical studies are illuminating. Dr. William A. Nolen, in his book Healing: A Doctor in Search of a Miracle (1974), followed up on several reported cases of healing from a Kathryn Kuhlman service but found no miracles-only remissions, psychosomatic diseases, and other explanations, including the power of suggestion.

More recently a study was conducted following a Benny Hinn crusade in Portland, Oregon, where seventy-six miracles were alleged. For an HBO television special, A Question of Miracles (Thomas 2001), Benny Hinn Ministries was asked to supply the names of as many of these as possible for investigation. After thirteen weeks, just five names were provided. Each case was followed for one year.

The first involved a grandmother who stated she had had “seven broken vertebras” but that the Lord had healed her at the evening service in Portland. In fact, x-rays afterward revealed otherwise, although the woman felt her pain had lessened.

The second case was that of a man who had suffered a logging accident ten years previously. He demonstrated improved mobility at the crusade, but his condition afterward deteriorated and “movement became so painful he could no longer dress himself.” Yet he remained convinced he was healed and refused the medication and surgery his doctors insisted was necessary.

The next individual was a lady who, for fifty years, had only “thirty percent of her hearing” as claimed at the Portland crusade. However, her physician stated, “I do not think this was a miracle in any sense.” He reported that the woman had had only a “very mild hearing loss” just two years before and that she had made “a normal recovery.”

The fourth case was that of a girl who had not been “getting enough oxygen” but who claimed to have been healed at Hinn’s service. In fact, since the crusade she “continued to suffer breathlessness,” yet her mother was so convinced that a miracle had occurred that she did not continue to have her daughter seek medical care.

Finally, there was what the crusade billed as “a walking dead woman.” She had had cancer throughout both lungs, but her doctors were now “overwhelmed” that she was “still alive and still breathing.” Actually, her oncologist rejected all such claims, saying the woman had an “unpredictable form of cancer that was stable at the time of the crusade.” Tragically, her condition subsequently deteriorated and she died just nine months afterward.
