I was expecting you to clarify the meaning of being set free from sin since it obviously doesn't mean that you stop sinning. Most born again, spirit filled Christians and other religious people are guilty of lying, lust, anger, and electronic theft. I personally think lust is unavoidable for a healthy person and also awesome.

Atheism is perfectly suitable since it just means a lack of belief in any god. It does not require certainty. The vast majority of atheists will not claim to be certain. Babies are atheists, because they don't believe in any God. They are converted to religion by their parents. Simple!

According to Old Testament law, anyone caught selling another person into slavery was to be executed:

God in the old testament was tribalistic. He didn't sanction kidnapping Israelites for slavery, but he allowed them to buy slaves from neighbouring tribes regardless of how those slaves were enslaved. This is exactly how America practiced slavery before abolishing it. American weren't allowed to kidnap other Americans for slavery, but they could purchase our ancestors who were kidnapped from Africa. I don't think any country has ever allowed its free citizens to kidnap other free citizens and sell them into slavery. There is nothing to commend in that verse.

An atheist can become a state legislator or governor of a multi-religious state. In multi-religious states, people might prefer to vote for an atheist than to vote for someone who follows the other religion. But the atheist might have to pretend to be a deist. "I believe in God but I don't follow organized religion because my faith is personal". Religious people believe that you can't be a good person unless you believe in a God who will judge your actions after death. It would take a very long marketing campaign to convince lots of voters that this is not so.

How do nigerian atheist say the national pledge and the second stanza of the national anthem?
"SO HELP ME GOD" "OH GOD OF CREATION"

We can just drop or change the words we object to. E.g. saying "So help me God" or "Oh God of creation Principles Of Truth" instead.

Dear Amthankful, here's my understanding of your story:

* You had unprotected sex with multiple partners.

* You suspected you had contracted HIV from a partner, but you didn't go for any HIV test or ask your partners to do same.

* You started having symptoms that could have been caused by HIV, which usually happens 2 - 4 weeks after infection.

* Yet you still didn't go for ayn HIV test or ask your partners to do the same.

* The symptoms disappeared.

* Yet you haven't gone to a hospital to take the HIV test to confirm your healing, nor have you asked your partners to do the same.

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that you may never have had HIV. The bad news is that you may still have HIV.

I've just learned that HIV infection involves 3 stages:
Stage 1: Acute illness starting 2 to 4 weeks after infection, during which you may experience rashes, fever, sore throat, etc.
Stage 2: Asymptomatic period, which can last a few months to 10 years, during which you won't experience any symptoms.
Stage 3: AIDS, which is the last stage of the infection and leads to death.

If the symptoms you experienced were due to stage 1 of HIV, then the "healing" you experienced indicates the commencement of stage 2. Within a few months, or a few years, you will experience full-blown AIDS and you will die. You and your partners need to get yourselves tested for HIV as soon as possible. If you're HIV positive, your doctor will link you up with antiretroviral drugs which can prevent your HIV from progressing to stage 3. With the right antiretroviral drugs, you and your sexual partners may even live for several decades.

Regardless of the outcome of the HiV test, you need to buy lots of condoms and keep them on you to solve your problem of unprotected sex.

That's a misleading clickbait title. What they are basically saying is that the brain continues to work for some time after your heart stops. Clinical death is when your heart and lungs stop, but as long as your brain is alive you can still be revived. That's technically "life after death".
