This belief that Ebola is not real is precisely why it's ravaging so many West African countries. Thank God that Nigerians don't have that issue.

Sorry to say, but I must tell u. You are the most bias human I have ever come across.
Instead of attacking my person, you should attack my opinion which you think is wrong. If you are right, then I will learn from you.

By Seun's Tsunami you mean when hackers hacked my server and deleted our data. Why not call it Hacker's Tsunami instead of "Seun's"?

So, even with all the comments, topics, and factual articles placed on your site daily of how GEJ is polarizing the country, the one your brain could come up with is the nonsense you quoted above?
Is he polarizing the country just because he exists because of some things he's actually done? Why not list the divisive things he has done?

I've cleaned up the thread so we can continue the OP's discussion which is about creating a Charity section. I hope people will stick to this.

Seun, I live outside Nigeria.
We've got a solid welfare system in place. Free education in place for all. Basic amenities taken for granted as our birth right. Free soup kitchens for the poor, needy, and homeless during the cold winter months.
What if I want to go back to my roots and help fellow Nigerians in desperate need? To give someone a shot at making something of themselves? I have done this in the past but was only able to do this via nairaland.
Do have a rethink Seun...
Thanks for your perspective. It's very valuable and whatever we decide will be designed to accommodate people based abroad.
FamilyRe: Set-up Of Charity Section by Seun(mod): 2:53pm On Oct 24, 2014
You could go to any school and ask them if there are any good students there who are owing school fees and then go ahead and pay the fees. There are schools in your area, wherever you live. There are old people on your street selling one thing or the other. Problems everywhere.
FamilyRe: Set-up Of Charity Section by Seun(mod): 2:46pm On Oct 24, 2014
Why not just help those around us who are elderly people and then post pictures about it online? I'm humbly proposing what looks like a less risky mode of operation. I feel that we can reorganize things a little bit before we start using our Forum's name to take cash from people.
FamilyRe: Set-up Of Charity Section by Seun(mod): 2:03pm On Oct 24, 2014
There is no shortage of people who need financial help. You can find them in every house, on every street, in every town, state and country. Instead of pooling resources together to help random people who just happen to catch our attention, why can't we just help those around us?

it seems to me that the only concrete evidence of divisiveness cited is that someone said GEJ was savior of Christians. What am I missing?

@Seun, this was your response:

and Firsteva had this to say:

The response does not address the question. Why should a thread on the same topic but created at a later date be pushed to front page and not the original poster.

There is even on front page someone that ripped off (plagiarized) another person's write up and that was what was moved to front page. Doesn't seem quite right to me.

We will hold him to his word. If he cant keep his word before presidency, how will he after he becomes president ? huh huh huh
All politicians tell lies all the time, so I won't hold it against him as a candidate. GEJ also said that he would only stay in power for one term.
PetsRe: What Breed Is Dis Puppy/ this puppy turned out well. by Seun(mod): 10:05am On Oct 23, 2014
She's really cute. You should be proud of her. But yea, you shouldn't breed her, since there's no market for uniquely bred dogs.

Her short hair makes her look slim. My dog is the same way. It may be that she's naturally slim. Slim dogs tend to live longer, anyway.

None of my numerous Dogs would behave like this even in my absence.
The owner of these dogs probably felt the same way, which is why he allowed his dogs to roam freely with untrained humans in his absence.

Samoyed? Dnt try samoyed o.
Pls tell us more about this. Samoyeds are not supposed to be aggressive. They are supposed to be completely useless as watchdogs. If a Samoyed is aggressive, could it be that it's been mixed with American Eskimos (which are good watchdogs) or white German Shepherds?

I appreciate ur direction of thought, quiet an advice. The deed is done, who is to be punished here, the dog or its bearer.
I think the parents of the victim and the dog owner should be allowed to settle the issue privately. The owner should pay all the medical bills, and the dogs should be sold to an owner who can manage them more responsibly. The tenants could get some dog management training too.
PetsRe: Police Parade Dogs That Attacked Four-year-old Boy by Seun(mod):
i see silly boys swaggering around with dogs they probably cannot control, because for them, it is some silly game of oppression/showing off.
This is a misunderstanding. Those "silly boys" were not "swaggering around" with their dogs. They were walking their dogs. The reason they have to do this is to exercise their dogs so the dogs will be mentally balanced. A dog that is not regularly exercised can become crazy and difficult to control, so it's in the interest of the public for them to walk their dogs. They are not trying to oppress you with the size of their dogs.
PetsRe: Police Parade Dogs That Attacked Four-year-old Boy by Seun(mod):
These are small dogs, and obviously not that wild. There is no reason why the police should have felt helpless to protect that poor boy from them for a whole hour. This incidence reeks of human cluelessness. People - especially children - just don't know how to behave around dogs.

The lesson for us dog owners is that it's our responsibility to educate the people around us about how to behave around our dogs, and to socialise our dogs with the people living with us - especially children - so they will not get us into trouble. If a child is agitating your dog by taunting him and throwing objects at him, catch the child and correct him. Insist that everyone in your home must be introduced to your dogs.

It's safe for dogs to play with children who have been educated about how to behave around dogs, but they should be supervised by adults.
