Kachisbarbie: Is it now/today that the building is collapsing (collapsed) in her 'brain'?She actually posted it yesterday. |
baslone and steffans, are you both in Lagos? |
Perhaps the heavy clouds in the sky are blocking the satellite signals? |
Male chimpanzee. They are prone to acts of brutal violence and very strong. |
She's really portable and cute. What's the reason for sale? |
UnknownT: Seun, pls! I don't understand the reason why the person I am following can still share a post he made for his followers to read after they must have read it immediately he made the comment. What am I trying to say? Pls, disable someone from sharing his own post just like someone can't like his own post. Thank youI don't read most of the posts written by the people I'm following so it's nice that they can share the few posts that they consider important. |
I used to organize a lot of competitions but for a few years I've been too distracted. Will try to do so again. |
This is the official Nairaland App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nairaland |

Most atheists rarely talk about religion if religious people don't bother them. |

blink182: You do not know the owner of nl in person so please stop assuming he is what he is not, you may be right but personally I think you are giving him too much credit,It appears that you don't know me either, so you cannot know whether or not he is giving me too much credit (well he is, and I appreciate it). he is a programmer and spends little on the website unlike me who has to almost always pay over 100k whenever my programmer has to work on my website. It's not what you spend that matters, but what you achieve with your spending. I don't code Nairaland alone; I'm ably assisted by a young programmer. I Am the software architect (to keep the code simple) and product manager (right features) but he does most of the coding. I know a Nigerian website not in the top 100k but make more money than nl and lib combined. You don't know what Linda Ikeji makes, so how can you be sure that the website makes more? Tell us the name of this website and how much they make. CEO earns a million monthly, director is about 2m monthly, manager gets 450k or so, entry level earns 35k with over a hundred staff and average take home being about 70k. This is their basic monthly minus bonus and other allowances. These are all expenses. There are many companies that spend more than what they make. Then they go broke and that's how it ends. They attract people with money and serious disposable income from around the world not crappy crowd that boosts your alexa ranking but fails to produce a sale.I'd like to know what Nairaland members think about being labelled a "crappy crowd" and ask you if you're not part of this "crappy crowd". Yes, Nairaland doesn't make much money. We're a small business by all measures, but with big impact. A small object casting big shadows. |
laplace12: In summary, I want to be able to see the 'shares' while still preserving the 'likes' like it was beforeWe might introduce a feature that shows the total likes you've received since you joined Nairaland, so you won't need to preserve likes. The purpose of the likes feature is to let you see which kind of posts people like so you can post more of such posts - encouraging good content. |
coogar: seun, have you bought yours & for how much?My iPhone 5C finally died so I'm thinking of getting another iPhone, however I don't plan to buy the iPhone 6 (or 6 plus) because: 1) The iPhone 6 is too slippery. You can't grip it firmly due to the lack of firm edges. In my clumsy hands, it would only last for a few weeks! 2) The back of the iPhone 6 is super-ugly, making it the ugliest iPhone they've ever made. The first phone that looks better in any case! 3) The camera is better but it doesn't resolve the only problem I had with my iPhone 5C camera: perspective distortion. When I take pictures, things close to the camera often appear larger than they truly are, while things close to the corners are distorted. This is because phones have fixed wide angle lenses which allow us to take pictures while standing close to objects we're photographing, but distort them when we do so. 4) They lack front facing stereo speakers which means when I play movies or music on them, the sound will be completely flat. 5) The new iPhones are large. Using them one-handed is difficult/impossible and Apple's "reachability" solution is awkward and inefficient. HTC One M8 would solve problems 2 and 4, but it's also slippery and the low MP camera makes it harder to avoid distortion by cropping. It's also rather big. iPhone 5S would solve problems 1 and 2, and 5, but would be even less ideal for watching movies due to the small screen. The original HTC One and HTC One Max would solve problems 1, 2, and 4, but the HTC One lacks stamina while the One Max may be too big. |
Apple says they use titanium inserts to strengthen the weak spots on iPhone 6 and 6P. The problem is that they forgot 1 spot in 6P. Dazall. |

Pls post pictures in which we can see the tails of both parents. I suspect that one of them is an American Eskimo because your puppies have an eye condition that's more common with American Eskimos. |
Wow, so many bible verses being quoted. |
aguizm: My little problem with my about 5 months old GSD is the way it plays with anbody it sees in our compound be you a neighbour or a stranger, once you are in the compound haaaa it will run to you wagging its tail like its known you for years. It only barks on strangers when its in her cage. The tin dey pain me wellaThat's normal for a puppy. They get more aggressive and territorial as they mature. |
Thanks for this notice! The regression was caused by a software upgrade which reverted a setting unexpectedly. The setting has been reapplied. |
Vinshu: Nairaland is depreciating... Web masters section is full of jobbers and fraudsters. No web master here anymore. It sounds as if the mods are not working. I will ask the supermods to look into it. We may need to query the mods and/or hire new mods. |
We do not accept ads in this section. |
We don't sell SEO; we sell Banner Ad Views. Our advertisers know this. |
bunlizlaw: I'm not an Ogun State indigene but I schooled in the state.I must confess that Gov Amosun's administration is unprofitable and unfriendly to the masses. He is indeed clueless as someone earlier said.APC should get another candidate if the party truly wants to secure Ogun State in 2015.what is the basis for these statements? What actually happened to make you feel that he is "unprofitable and unfriendly to the masses" and "indeed clueless" as well? |
dazekid: Seun what phone do you currently use coz you seem to be sentimental to iphones but appear unimpressed with the 6 and 6+?I'm managing a Galaxy S4 because my iPhone 5C has stopped working. They both have broken screens because my hands often get shaky. |
MadCow1: This Journalist is quite jobless... lolThe writer actually noted that people will be shocked when election outcomes don't match Internet sentiment, so the joke's on you for poor comprehension. Also, the Internet does influence people who are in a position to influence voters, such as journalists, celebrities, and activists. |
There is no "company policy" to "fight against" "the opposition" on Nairaland. Obiagelli had no source for such info. She just made it up and posted it as a fact. That is false information. Rule 8 says, "Don't post false information on Nairaland." |
Your mobile phone is supposed to be in your pocket regardless of how aggressive your movements are. It's an ultra-portable device. |
