My best bet for making money from your room(i.e being independent) is using Java to write mobile applications which you can upload to the App stores of the device's manufacturer you were writing the application for.Use PHP/MySQL to build websites that you can slap adsense ads on if you get any traffic! |

You can get a capable netbook for 60k. The Lenovo Ideapad S12. You should not focus on programming languages alone. Study databases and web frameworks too. It helps to have recommended books. What's your goal really, though? Want a career as a software developer or a business? |
