SportsRe: Phillipe Skolari Interested In Coaching Nigeria! by Seun(mod): 10:58am On Sep 09, 2009
Has Amodu Shuaibu ever won anything for Nigeria?
If not, why do they keep re-employing and sacking him?
BusinessRe: More Banks Have 'Large Volumes Of Non-Performing Loans' by Seun(mod): 10:43am On Sep 09, 2009
According to the source,
although the remaining 14 banks are not terminally ill like the first five,
large volumes of non-performing loans were discovered.
As far as I am concerned, all the CEOs giving huge bad loans should be treated the same way.
Either we arrest all of them, or we release all of them. Selective prosecution isn't right.

Otherwise it means Ibru et all are being punished because their banks needed to be bailed out
by the CBN. In other words, failure. The problem with that is that failure is not a criminal offence.
HealthRe: ^"microwave~" Live Saver Or Live Taker. by Seun(mod): 10:14am On Sep 09, 2009
I think this Micro Wave of a live saver is a live killer because its what causes Cancer i have made researchs and found out.
How did you find out? Did you consult a scientific study that confirmed your hypothesis?
I think you're just looking for a way to justify spending hours in the kitchen every day.
I've heard that people that wash clothes feel the same way about washing machines.

I don't think any manufacturer ships products with the wires already connected.
The wires may have been fixed incorrectly by the shop that sold the theatre to you.

It is no longer news that more than 60% of Nigerians are unemployed
False. The unemployment rate in Nigeria is quite low. Under-employment is more of an issue.

You have no choice. Women are just too passive. It's a matter of who asks first, apparently.

How could 100,000 people have been rendered homeless without our knowledge. Sounds alarmist.

40 kobo? Hmmm, well I guess it shouldn't be mandatory. The industry is supposed to be private-sector driven. The NCC should not be imposing mandatory fees on us.
PoliticsRe: @ Jarus! How About The Unilateral Printing Of The N420 B by Seun(mod): 7:58pm On Sep 04, 2009
Best not to rely on info from Nlanders.
Hmm, it appears Nairalanders were right.  There are so many things the Central Bank can do to create money, so it's best not to speculate on which approach was used unless we're given details. From the definition, I don't think quantitative easing applies to the case of the five banks. I think all we really need to know is that everything was done on a computer. For more details, contact the CBN.
