Micro-evolution.  Google it. The bible claims that we all came from Adam & Eve, so you'll have a harder time explaining it.

TV/MoviesBukky Wright 'Battles' Indecent Dressing In Nollywood! by Seun(mod): 9:05pm On Aug 13, 2008
Indecent Dressing: Star Actress, Bukky Wright Takes Campaign To Nollywood

As part of her efforts to remain a star worthy of emulation, star actress, Bukky Wright, has embarked on a campaign against indecent dressing in the movie industry, Nollywood and the society at large.

The light-skinned versatile actress is embarking on the campaign under the auspices of Women and Modesty, a Non-Government Organisation set up by Mrs. Emelda Osuji.

Nollywood Reel learnt that the project, which will be launched soon is expected to parade other eminent personalities that will sensitise the youth, particularly ladies on how to shun indecent dressing.

“Star actress Bukky Wright has vowed to take the campaign to Nollywood and beyond. She is nice and supportive, and we are happy about that. This campaign should be supported by all and sundry. Something has to be done about ladies who expose everything that makes them women of substance to the public,” Osuji rapped.

Comical. Some would say that skin is what makes young actresses famous.  That those who dress decently are just going to be out-shined by those who know how to flaunt what they've got.  And they would be right!

FamilyRe: My Brother Is Sickly In Love by Seun(mod): 8:45pm On Aug 13, 2008
Why must your brother's girlfriend be the one sweeping his house for him, and why is it any of your business.  Jobless girl.  You better go and find a boyfriend or something else to occupy your obviously empty head.  Maybe a cleaning job. If you're tired of sweeping the house, then move out and stop living off your brother. let your brother sweep his own house.

samir101ng:
Imagine getting 25K for a movie that you are probably going to make millions on.
All you'll be submitting is a short story.  The journey from short story to movie is complicated and unpredictable.

Why don't you add like 5-10% of the gross earnings of the ovie ? Now thats motivation enough.
If I give you 10% for a short story, what % will I give the scriptwriter? What % will I give each actor? What % will be left?

bobby101:
hello, can names be mentioned in the stories
I don't understand this, but the answer is probably yes.  How can you write a story without names?

and are you selecting  more than one story, because I can't waste my energy o shocked
If you don't think you can possibly win, then I guess you shouldn't waste your time.  Unless you value feedback.

jite:
I wonder why there so much talk about writing a short story. See this as a challenge, it shouldn't be just about the money. Yes, 25k is small but what happened to humble beginnings.
Thank you! That's one of the reasons why I don't want to raise the prize: I want a winner who actually loves writing.

Personally I love writing and I'm going to write.
Bingo.

I'm going to look for a way to honor or compensate those who narrowly miss out on the prize.
TV/MoviesRe: Developing My Little Super Hero Movie by Seun(mod): 3:23pm On Aug 13, 2008
Don’t listen to all this propaganda that tells you that a writer "dreams". . . no, a writer WRITES.
I think the best screen writers follow a visual approach: they dream, then they write.
They write what they see and hear, because everything else will be lost in production.

TV/MoviesRe: Movies You Walked Out On! by Seun(mod): 6:27pm On Aug 12, 2008
No self-respecting movie buff would walk out on a movie!
Wrong. If you've made a mistake, it's better to admit it and move on.
Staying until the end of a bad movie won't automagically make it a good movie. wink
