I'm confident that I can raise kids in the UK that will be better behaved than Razorr and Jackal. cheesy

This would have been a brilliant thread if you had the discipline to stick to the topic. Argh!!

And why the hell do you keep rapists as "friends"? Even if you can't "kill" them, why keep them as friends?

Contact a doctor as soon as possible. I experienced such a problem before I started Nairaland, but in my case it was of the mind. The doctor prescribed an chill pill and in a week or so the problem was gone.

If the kid refuses to prostrate and say sorry to the man, I'll make a show of not taking him home. Simple.

@Razorr: you did not turn out well, otherwise you won't be planning to brutalize your own kids. wink
Sports › Re: Football Kills! Kill Football! by Seun(mod): 4:13pm On Aug 31, 2007
Brutality is never the answer. You can discipline your kid without knocking out his teeth. If the kid was only repeating what his parents do at home, then they don't even have the right to correct him.
Sports › Re: Football Kills! Kill Football! by Seun(mod): 4:07pm On Aug 31, 2007
I would not have beaten the kid, but I would have forced him to prostrate & apologize profusely to the man. wink Discipline is not about brutality, it's about setting a standard and being consistent with it.

The Govt on one hand shouts about parental responsibilty
and on the other hand remove all tools a parent has of raising a law fearing child.
If you disobey the law by hitting your child, how can your child be law-abiding? huh

18:27 Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.
Who cares what part of their body he decided to cut after they were dead? He killed them in cold blood!
Computers › Re: Hibernate Or Turn Off? by Seun(mod): 5:09am On Aug 31, 2007
What part of hibernating your laptop cannot cause it to over-heat don't you ladies understand?
Hibernating your computer is not different from shutting it down as far as hardware is concerned.

Someone has already tried to explain the difference between hibernate and standby but you won't listen.

I have no problem with Kimberly's aversion to cooking. It's her big mouth that troubles me. cheesy

Todays task was a water race. Kimberly actually came first - the men should stop underestimating her!

I now agree with those who think she might actually win this competition (assuming it's not rigged).

Nenman was evicted today. I wonder how they keep evicting the right people in this show!

Leaving a 256mb hibernate file on your hard disk for a long time does not compromise your system in anyway.

May i ask a few questions:
May i ask why after so much appologies the moniker davidylan still remains banned for the last 2 months?
May i ask why PTH has remained banned for 48 hrs for the same "offense" that still ensures that Banderas and Iman with whom i was having a debate with remain active members?
May i ask why people like islander and omo-eko have been let back on the forum for offences 100x more grievous than my alleged offense while i remain locked out?

May i ask if there are some special rules that seem to apply to me alone?

May i really ask WHY i am always the target of a ban on the religious board on the same threads that others can freely express they thoughts?

May i ask why you chose to put up a thread denigrating my biblical namesake King David as a maniacal genocidal tyrant while like threads on islam are strictly forbidden?

May i ask why it is convenient for you to refer to me as an idiot while i cant?

May i ask why i am still banned?
Here's my response. Do I sound pissed off?
Were you or were you not asked to post a public apology and obtain forgiveness from mukina2 and one other muslim before being allowed to return. Did you or did you not comply with the direction? And after failing to comply, did you or did you not register a new account and use it to commit the same offense that you were banned for? Are you or are you not obviously a stubborn bull of a man?

But you should also know that riches can disappear.
It is easier for a rich man to remain rich than for a poor man to become rich. If a rich man has a moderate amount of common sense, he will remain rich. Unless something really terrible happens.

Do you think that marriage would last if you eventually loose those riches?
Even if a woman marries the poor version of you, will your marriage last if her children are going hungry?

Money changes people. If you love a poor man, you might not love the rich version of him.
If I'm rich, I won't have to worry about whether my wife would have married a poor version of me.
As long as she loves the rich version of me, all I have to do is remain rich and all will be well!

Fact: Soldiers will keep raping even if they are 'cautioned' or 're-oriented', as long as they can get away with it. Criminals - including militants and those in the army - only respond to punishment.
