This is Fayose's gift to the people that voted him into power. When PDP wins next time, they'll wonder why.

At least as bad as G Bush is i can still go home and expect to meet electricity, water and gas.
This has nothing to do with George Bush. It takes more than one bad president to completely destroy a country.
However, George Bush is trying his best. How can we criticize our leaders when the US president is even worse?

How can a president success rating be 18% ? and still retain his job?
You mean approval rating, right? Imagine having a president that only 18% of the population approves of.

@Seun, can you please list the many things that [George Bush is 'trying to do' in the US?]
WASHINGTON -- President Bush has quietly claimed the authority to disobey more than 750 laws enacted since he took office, asserting that he has the power to set aside any statute passed by Congress when it conflicts with his interpretation of the Constitution.

Among the laws Bush said he can ignore are military rules and regulations, affirmative-action provisions, requirements that Congress be told about immigration services problems, ''whistle-blower" protections for nuclear regulatory officials, and safeguards against political interference in federally funded research.

What does America represent which Bush has made a mockery of?
Democracy (basically), respect for civil liberty, progressive capitalism, common sense, a respected constitution.
Foreign Affairs › Is George Bush Destroying What America Stands For? by Seun(mod): 5:06pm On May 31, 2007
George Bush is making a mockery of what the USA represents. Every day, as I'm browsing the net, I read about his attempts to do various things in the USA that even Nigerians will recognize as absolutely ridiculous and evil. And yet Americans re-elected this guy. I don't get it! Thanks to him, we can't really look up to America anymore.

Career › Re: Why Are The Indians Taking All Our Jobs Away From Us In Our Own Country? by Seun(mod): 4:26pm On May 31, 2007
Nobody owes you a job. If you allow an Indian to work harder than you and get a job before you, that's nobody's problem but yours. Indians are not more privileged than we are, yet they're making progress through hard work. Instead of being jealous, let us strive to learn from these hardworking people. Let us strive to work harder.
Politics › Re: The List Of Arrested Corrupt Governors (after May 29th) by Seun(mod): 12:47am On May 31, 2007
You cannot force people to move forward if they don't want to move forward.
It's best to mind one's own business and move forward in ones own journey.

If you work hard and succeed, others will be motivated to emulate you, and everyone will move forward.
If you waste your time trying to carry people along, they will only pull you back.
Politics › Re: The List Of Arrested Corrupt Governors (after May 29th) by Seun(mod): 12:37am On May 31, 2007
Those of us that are willing to work are moving forward individually. That's the only way to move forward, anyway.

This is what happens when a governor can do anything he likes;
when the government's powers are not limited by the constitution.
Romance › Re: Abortion: Would You, Won't You? by Seun(mod): 10:10pm On May 30, 2007
A girl having baby at 18yrs is a disgrace and disappointment to her family
I disagree. A girl having a baby at 18 years is just careless. The consequences are great, so no additional persecution is required. Support is what such a girl would need. If my child is pregnant at 18, that's what she'll get.

TV/Movies › Re: Millions Of Sparks Of Jubilation As Jordin Sparks Wins 2007 American Idol by Seun(mod): 8:12pm On May 29, 2007
@seun you obviously do not understand the dynamics of American idol, but i will take the time to explain it to you
Awww, shaddup. Knowing how American Idol works is nothing to be proud about. We all do.

1. when a contestant gets eliminated, its not because they can't sing or perform, its because the greater public are voting for someone else and as a result, u get the least amount of votes.
Really? How shocking! I had no idea! I thought the winners were handpicked by the Holy Ghost!

The main reasons why I raised an alarm over Jordin Sparks' singing are as follows:
1) Her performance in the finals were substandard, yet the judges were all over her with praises. If indeed her performance in the final was her worst performance, why didn't Simon Cowell comment about it?

2) I'm trying to get us to engage in some good-natured banter. Let's not poison it with mean statements.

You posted a link to Jordin Spark's best performance, and it's barely as good as Melinda's average performance!
I'm not the only one who believes that Melinda is far better than Jordin, you know. Millions of Americans do. wink

Actually, the families don't have to find out if you don't want them to. If it's a Yoruba family, be very careful. wink
If your relationship is strong in every other way, this is no problem. If it is not, this issue will expose the weaknesses.
