Christianity EtcRe: Does Satan Really Eat With His Left Hand? And Other Quranic Discrepancies! by Seun(mod): 8:46pm On Jun 22, 2006
Mamaput, have you seriously been trying to force your child to use a different hand? That's a mistake. You should tell her sorry when she's old enough to understand what an apology is. Poor child.

I predict a final score of 3 goals to 2.
- 3 goals scored by Kaka and other brazillian strikers.
- 2 own goals scored by Japanese defenders! cheesy
PoliticsRe: Should Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (Now Foreign Minister) Resign? by Seun(mod): 4:12pm On Jun 22, 2006
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, a feisty former World Bank economist, who as finance minister spearheaded Nigeria’s economic reform efforts over the last three years, was appointed foreign minister in Wednesday’s reshuffle.

The move has been perceived by western diplomats as a blow to Nigeria’s economic reform programme, despite President Olusegun Obasanjo’s decision that Mrs Okonjo-Iweala would remain the overall head of the country’s economic team with powers to carry out oversight with external financial institutions.

RomanceRe: Can Opposite Sexes Be Best Friends? by Seun(mod): 4:09pm On Jun 22, 2006
My best friend is a girl and there is no romance to it.
Translation:
- She's very very fat.
- She has small breasts.
- She's ugly, simple.
PoliticsRe: Should Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (Now Foreign Minister) Resign? by Seun(mod): 3:39pm On Jun 22, 2006
Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is to take over the Foreign Affairs Ministry from Ambassador Olu Adeniji. She will however, remain the chairperson of the Economic Management Team and would continue to carry out oversight responsibilities for the nation's external financial institutions and transactions.

Minister of State for Finance, Mrs. Nenadi Usman, was upgraded to Minister of Finance.

In other words, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is no longer our Finance Minister. She is now in charge of foreign affairs. What are her responsibilities in this new position? Do they suit her? Is this a move to ease her out of politics? Why?
CrimeRe: Why Do You Always Blame Me? Why? by Seun(mod): 2:46pm On Jun 22, 2006
Did you report he man that raped you to the police? If not, then why won't he keep raping women? huh

Are you in the habit of accepting unfair blame from people so they'll like you? If not, why shouldn't they take advantage of you emotinally? Afterall, they will get away with it. Afterall, you're the doormat lady.

Take charge of your life and your emotions, my sister. You owe it to yourself and no-one else!
CelebritiesRe: Celebrities Adopting Children: Publicity Or Pure Motives? by Seun(mod): 2:40pm On Jun 22, 2006
but if you adopt a child for publicity, what happens if you begin to find it a hassle to look after the child and you realise their is a more hassle-free way of obtaining publicity?
Same thing that happens when a normal parent begins to find it a hassle to look after the child and she realises that there are many hassle-free ways of living a happy life. You send the child to boarding school (if you're rich), put it up for adoption (which celebrities won't do), or you persevere till the child grows up (what most people do).

Regardless of what happens, these children have opportunities that they will never have dreamed of. It's worth it.

If we start sending bananas to Australia, the price will fall. We would be rendering the consumers a valuable service.

CelebritiesRe: Celebrities Adopting Children: Publicity Or Pure Motives? by Seun(mod): 8:26pm On Jun 21, 2006
Do they adopt them to ease their pain or the children adopted were merely tools of greater publicity?
Why is it ok to adopt a child to ease your pain of childlessness, but not for publicity? Aren't both purposes equally selfish? In both cases, isn't it in the interest of the parent to take the best care of the child? That's all that matters!
PoliticsRe: Prebendalism: Nigeria's Unique System Of Corruption! by Seun(mod): 8:24pm On Jun 21, 2006
The wikipedia article I culled presented prebendalism as a problem largely unique to Nigeria. That's the reason.
