Mamaput, have you seriously been trying to force your child to use a different hand? That's a mistake. You should tell her sorry when she's old enough to understand what an apology is. Poor child. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left-handed en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_famous_left-handed_people |
I can't believe I missed that goal just because I came to Nairaland to post about the match. Wow! |
I predict a final score of 3 goals to 2. - 3 goals scored by Kaka and other brazillian strikers. - 2 own goals scored by Japanese defenders! ![]() |
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, a feisty former World Bank economist, who as finance minister spearheaded Nigeria’s economic reform efforts over the last three years, was appointed foreign minister in Wednesday’s reshuffle. The move has been perceived by western diplomats as a blow to Nigeria’s economic reform programme, despite President Olusegun Obasanjo’s decision that Mrs Okonjo-Iweala would remain the overall head of the country’s economic team with powers to carry out oversight with external financial institutions. http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0d78fe9a-0144-11db-af16-0000779e2340.html |
My best friend is a girl and there is no romance to it.Translation: - She's very very fat. - She has small breasts. - She's ugly, simple. |
Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is to take over the Foreign Affairs Ministry from Ambassador Olu Adeniji. She will however, remain the chairperson of the Economic Management Team and would continue to carry out oversight responsibilities for the nation's external financial institutions and transactions. Minister of State for Finance, Mrs. Nenadi Usman, was upgraded to Minister of Finance. http://www.nigeriafirst.org/article_6074.shtml In other words, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is no longer our Finance Minister. She is now in charge of foreign affairs. What are her responsibilities in this new position? Do they suit her? Is this a move to ease her out of politics? Why? |
Did you report he man that raped you to the police? If not, then why won't he keep raping women? ![]() Are you in the habit of accepting unfair blame from people so they'll like you? If not, why shouldn't they take advantage of you emotinally? Afterall, they will get away with it. Afterall, you're the doormat lady. Take charge of your life and your emotions, my sister. You owe it to yourself and no-one else! |
but if you adopt a child for publicity, what happens if you begin to find it a hassle to look after the child and you realise their is a more hassle-free way of obtaining publicity?Same thing that happens when a normal parent begins to find it a hassle to look after the child and she realises that there are many hassle-free ways of living a happy life. You send the child to boarding school (if you're rich), put it up for adoption (which celebrities won't do), or you persevere till the child grows up (what most people do). Regardless of what happens, these children have opportunities that they will never have dreamed of. It's worth it. |
If we start sending bananas to Australia, the price will fall. We would be rendering the consumers a valuable service. |
Would you like to know how to write web design proposals, or are you asking for an example of a web design proposal? What sort of project is it that you want to write a proposal for? |
Why not try something different: - blogs - ecommerce - directories - news websites |
Are you saying that black and white pr0n equals art? ![]() |
Do they adopt them to ease their pain or the children adopted were merely tools of greater publicity? Why is it ok to adopt a child to ease your pain of childlessness, but not for publicity? Aren't both purposes equally selfish? In both cases, isn't it in the interest of the parent to take the best care of the child? That's all that matters! |
The wikipedia article I culled presented prebendalism as a problem largely unique to Nigeria. That's the reason. |
Do you think the lucky children care about the answer to this question? Does it really matter at all? ![]() |
Heh. I'm glad you have a sense of humor. pucho, please let us know when your car is sold so we can close this thread. Good luck! |
I am willing to assist with any initiatives that will improve the Nairaland job section for everybody. |
But my2cents, you are an intelligent person. The car was manufactured in 2005 and sold to the first owner in 2006. Duh! |
Why the foreign language at first? Are you high on methylated spirit? ![]() |
So you don't have specific questions? In that case, you're welcome to Nairaland. Anyway. Cheers. |
I am well loved, thank goodness! https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-9449.0.html <curiousNja> https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-8315.0.html <kaygirl> |
Topics like this should be posted in the crime section under politics. Any specific questions? |
Try www.nairaland.com/nigeria/action-help. Do you have any specific questions? |
Chxta complained about the same problem. Fortunately I don't use Yahoo a lot. |
They are beautiful. That's what I was implying. They are too beautiful to belong to the police! |
Can you post a picture of your (Toyota?) Land Cruiser on the thread, so you can attract serious buyers? Thanks. |
Are the above pictures from a failed attempt at Nigerian porn? ![]() |
I will not mince words with you: most of them are not legitimate. Why would a stranger who is making a lot of money online want to share his secrets with you? Is he/she father christmas? Are Nigerians that generous? |
I can see that we all want to help Nigeria. The best thing we can do to help Nigeria is to run profitable businesses. |
