We don't need any push from government. We need our young people to wake up and start working. And we need our rich people to use their money to buy land and tractors for Agriculture. That is all. Government does not have a right to spend our money to boost any industry at the expense of other legitimate industries. Let's grow up!

You should go and make your own candles if you are not satisfied with the ones on sale.

Your belief in an imaginary God will not make him to exist. People believe in all sorts of things that are not true!

God created evil as a check and balances

So God created war, earthquakes, the Asian Tsunami as 'checks and balances' against the innocent men, women, children and babies that have died horrible deaths or been maimed for life through them? Wouldn't an all-knowing God have been able to provide 'checks and balances' in a more humane manner?

And what do you mean by "checks and balances" anyway? Couldn't a perfect God have created perfection with no need for any evil 'checks and balances'? If he needed evil 'checks and balances', then he's not all-powerful. if he didn't really need evil but chose to create it, then he's actually being wicked. Assuming he exists.

What gives God the right to condemn men for engaging in evil when he is guilty of the same thing?

Such a God, is he exists, is not only wicked but unjust. Or are you saying that might is right?

Are killer earthquakes, tsunamis, tornadoes and volcanic eruptions miracles too? What about miracle diseases?

If God didn't want evil to exist in the entire universe, would it exist?

The barber is not all-knowing, all-wise, or all-powerful. He also did not create the men with beards, and has no right to tell people to cut their beards. God, however, if he exists, created the world both good and evil. That means that there is evil to be found in him. Either there is no God, or he is a horrible God. A holy God doesn't exist.

chinani, their are some positions in soceity that if women take up, would be inaffective. That is because we are emotional 2 handle such positions. An example of these positions is: RELIGIOUS LEADERS. By religious leaders i aint saying a priest in church, i mean Bishops, Popes (influential religious positions).

Well they did not ask me to bring them into the world.  This is something I did for myself, because I want children.  It would be unfair to ask the children to pay for something that was done for someone else's sake.

they should pay you for all the free food and housing they are getting.   They should pay you for the hospital trips, nappies used, school fees. In short, they should pay you daddy fees for fixing the broken bulbs, repairing the car, painting their room etc.

When I made the decision to bring children into the world, I knew that I would have the obligation to feed and house them until they attain legal independence.  Therefore the cost of feeding and housing is something I am bearing for my own sake, and not for their sakes.  Since the children did not ask to be born the person that decided to bring them into the world must feed and house them until they are legally adults. 

He who makes the decision must bear the cost. Nobody forced you to have children, so you must pay!

By the time my children turn 18 and are legally adults, they probably won't need my assistance anymore.  All my income would be going straight into my retirement investments, so I won't need to live off my children in my old age.  I would also have a good relationship with them, based on mutual respect and independence, so if I ever really need their help, they would provide it voluntarily out of their abundance.

And I hope I'm not making a mistake by not banning Afeni.  This is laissez-faire forum management .

I will not only pay them, but I will allow them to reject the chores entirely if they feel that what I'm paying them is too small.  I want my children to develop sharp minds for business, and this is one way to accomplish that.  If I am able to communicate economic literacy to them from an early age, they will never be poor.   

I always feel sad when I come accross adults (including myself) who are afraid to make money because they have been decieved into thinking it's evil.  I will not make the same mistake with my children; they will be so good with business that they'll be capable of paying for their own private university education. Independence rocks!
