Even if you stay, one day you might be caught and deported. If you don't like the hectic Lagos life, you can move to a more peaceful town like Abeokuta. There are lots of happy people in Nigeria who are not doctors.

100k monthly is a lot more than what many happy Nigerians make. The money you spent on this trip could have made your life in Nigeria sweeter. Don't get depressed about Nigeria. As a medical doctor, you have options that the rest of us who are thriving in Nigeria do not even have.

You have to come back. You owe it to your wonderful fiancee who organized the trip for you. If you defect, she will not be able to organize such trips for others or herself in future. If you decide to stay illegally in the US, you would have betrayed your fiancee. Are you that kind of person?

I don't think there's any PC suitable for use as an entertainment center that will not be able to accomodate Windows XP. You can't use and under-powered PC as an entertainment center!

I think it would be very hard to make a search engine like Google, but there's one man who runs his own profitable search engine by using algorithms that work differently and require different resources ("just" 8 servers). His name is Matt Wells and his search engine is called Gigablast. He was recently interviewed about search engine design.

And as bad as I felt about it at the time, I did steal something accidentally. I had my hands full and placed one item in my pocket.
