That's wrong. There's no reason to believe that the scale of the operation has no effect on how quickly she breaks even. The larger the scale, the more you have to spend, and the more you need to make to break even. Uninterrupted electricity supply from a power plant that covers a small town or an estate would be somewhat cheaper than using a diesel generator, but more importantly it would be much more convenient and noiseless. People will gladly pay for it.

What I'm just saying is that there's Windows XP can do the job even on an under-powered PC. You can hibernate all the time instead of shutting down if you want your system boot quickly. Media-playing capability is something built into every modern PC.

Knowledge is key, not certification. 'Certifications' are even worse than degrees as measures of knowledge, which is why an Indian programmer friend told me that certifications are no longer valued by Indian employers.
