Sports / Re: Who Is The Most Entertaining Artist At D Glo CAF Award 2013.? by seun0622(m): 9:14am On Jan 10, 2014
Surely, it has to be Lagbaja.

The guy stole the show with his performance, highly creative, wonderful costumes. The part I liked most was where about 7 cloned lagbajas came out with their talking drums and played with indepth precision and unison. I was suprised all of them had the exact heights and shape of the real Lagbaja.
P square performed below expectation but the others had normal stage performances.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: My Experience With Health Stream Alliance (HSA) Part I by seun0622(m): 5:41pm On Jan 08, 2014
Chei , e be like say this HSA people don spread their wings o.
I was also invited for a test and interview some months back at toyin street ikeja.
After drying our heads in the sun for about 30mins, there were certain things I noticed.

They were extremely arrogant in their approach to everything. Imagine a guy called chijioke dressed in one aboki styled suit shouting and ordering people around like he wanted while assigning us to our respective seats. In fact I would have left that moment but something in me told me to wait and see the unfolding cinema to the end.

When they called their oga (abimbola shakirat) to come forward for the lecture, I was expecting to see an excuisite and elegant lady with that touch of class but lo and behold, in my honest assessment, everything she was putting on were clasical grade B okrika bend down wears picked from katangwa, from her top to skirt to her shoes but she claims she earns 600k every month. See me see trouble.

Throughout her very boring and boastful lecture which lasted for more than an hour, I was able to pick about 47 grammatical blunders in her speech. Lol

When she finally ended her lectures , she told us to pay 8500 each for registration that was when I noticed something strange.

Out of about 100 of us in the borrowed sitting room of the residential appartment only five people decided to pay the 8500 but after carefully studying those 5 people , I realised that 3 of them were even members of health stream alliance then I realised the whole scenario was a real set up.

As I angrily exitted the door and I looked back, I saw so many angry faces storming out of the venue.
What a wase of time!

Before the 2002 world cup in Korea/ Japan, Thierry Henry, David Trezeguet and Wiltord had scored about 200 goals that season but they couldn't even score a single goal at the world cup, so your logic might not really come out true.

Guy,

Are u not in nigeria, HITV has been closed down and their service shut down. Metro don't have much of football content. You can still go for joy TV but there s a better package I can give you for a very cheap price which would enable you access to a lot of sport channels without subscription.

Politics / Re: Akinwumi Adesina Wins Forbes 2013 Person Of The Year by seun0622(m): 5:58pm On Dec 04, 2013
I believe he deserves the award for the giant strides he has recorded in the agricultural sector in the last 3 years. He automatically put an end to adultration and hoarding of fertilizers meant to be given to farmers free of charge.
President Jonathan said in one of his interviews that he had never met or spoken to Dr Adesina prior to the time he made him him a minister simply because he had always been out of the country managing one agricultural development portfolios or the other , the last being the director of one notable Africa development organization.
GEJ only nominated him into his cabinet based on his giant strides in agricultural development in Africa.
Congrats, Dr Akinwumi Adesina

I seriously wonder what goes on in the mind of nkem owoh, this is a man that cant be less than 50, its so embarrassing seeing this man play very absurd roles of small boys in movies with his wrinkled face. Like the previous poster said, will u ever see will smith act the role of a school boy in movies? Ahhhh, i tire for nollywood o!

Romance / Re: Why Do Men Lie? by seun0622(m): 7:53am On Jul 06, 2013
@op,
men lie simply because ladies want to be lied to. Every guy understands the fact that most ladies want ready made guys. Most guys know they are bound to get about 9 out of 10 ladies if they are good at the game. Most interesting part of it is that when men lie , most ladies know he s lieing but still chose to believe the lies.
Romance / Re: How To Convince Men To Keep The Kids For A Week by seun0622(m): 5:17pm On Jul 02, 2013
Omo_Alata: They are his kids. just leave them with him. Ladies need to learn to be assertive. He leaves them with you all the time without advance notice. It's not like he is going to hurt them. You need vacation and relaxation too. Taking care of kids is not easy.

@op, please do not yield to this kind of advice if u dont want to hear the story about the roles of the wife from him. Trust me, tell him nicely and dont make it look like its time for him to do his part of the job, they are his kids, he should be willing to do that but trust me how u tell him matters more than what u want to tell him.

MekT:

u send txt msgz to people dat dey're invited for interview n endz up being a very stewpid boring long talk of how u earn N250,000 a mnth(which doesnt show in ur look)....u give a test n say we'll take people based on the performance on the test....den at the end of the many many talk....u say anyone who has N8500 automatically becomes a member of ur company....the problem is nat from us calling u guyz Scammerz....its the way u guyz present urself, LIKE SCAMMERz...so dnt blame anybody for nuffin....if u were talking to illiterates una for don hammer...the truth is even if u guyz are for real...most of us arent interested...n we call u guyz scammerz coz u practically wasted our time n money...with the initial face u guyz put up dat got us interested in the 1st place..

God bless you,

you know them very well.
They send text messages inviting u for job test and interview only to tell stories of how they make 500k monthly (deceit and waste of time) and the truth is they dont even look like someone who earns 30k a month. After wasting ur time ,they mandate u to pay 8,500 which seems to be the only only criteria for giving u d imaginary job. Please tell them that any relationship that is preceded and founded on deceit, lies and exaggeration is a scam. Pure and simple.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: List Of Fake Employment Companies. Stay Off Them. by seun0622(m): 8:54am On May 12, 2013
The scheming of this job scammers tire me o. Just last week, i got an sms inviting me for a test and job interview at 15 fafumbi street Allen ikeja. I was kind of curious to know which organization they were and what they were recruiting for , i had my suspision but felt no harm in trying. On getting there , it was a residential building with a lot wet clothes hanging on the line in the compound. I was so surprised when we were made to stay in the sun for about 30 mins .needless i talk about the very rude and pompous manner of their shabily dressed staffs, i began to suspect foul play but in situations like that i feel its better to play along a little longer. When we were ushered in, one of them named chijioke stood in front with folded arms and a stone face ordering people on where to sit, we took a 15 mins test and a slim lady named hajara came to give a lenghty lecture where she succeeded in narrating her life history, how she travelled to south Africa and Zambia, how they paid her 204k , how she s making so much money bla bla bla, all polished with exaggeration. Bottomline, we were asked to pay 8,500 right there for registration and if u aren't paying , u can leave, of course most left.
Mind you, i m not against multi level marketing of drugs but why would u decieve people with ur sms, waste their time and do everything possible to make them part with their money all because you want to use them as a ladder in ur drug marketing business. Dear all, their name is health stream alliance please stay off them.

I personally dislike the bragging attitude in people but i need to point out to you what you did was worse than his brags. For the singular reason that he was still able to conveniently pay for your excessive demands without scrambling for the last naira notes from available pockets hole in his trousers gives him a reasonable amount of bragging right. When a score card of ur date with him is taken, u would better describe him as a bragger while he describes u as one greedy and ill mannered.

Personally i dont think it s offensive. It is literally passing across a message on the simplicity of its use putting into context a race that seems farther from African concepts and ideologies.

From personal experience and lessons learnt from other people who have done biz with their close relatives especially those that are not in Nigeria like you, the story hasn't been encouraging most of the time. The mere fact that you get along doesnt guarantee proper management of the business. Believe me ,people change when money and big money is involved. If you insist he manages the business for you, what monitoring mechanism have you adopted ? Is he experienced in that line of business? Can u fire him if he mis-manages the business? If he decides to leave the business, do u have contingency plans. If you can answer all these questions in the affirmative, then maybe he s the right guy.
