i feel bad that i dont really know my extended family members back home but im also happy that i dont really know them to because this type of situation would have caused problems for us. I ran into a so called friend from high school over yahoo chat and withing 20 minutes of haven not spoken for about 13 years he was already asking me for money. I was like no i work and pay my own bills here and money doesn't grow on trees. He was like but you are better off than i am i was like no working every day and being caught in a system of continous bills is not necessarily better off. Anyway i killed the chat and i blocked him both on yahoo and FB lucky for me he didn't get my phone number yet. These are the types of things you have to do.
Another guy wanted my number off the bat i was like what the hell he called me immediately and we were catching up on stuff before i knew it he started asking how i could help him migrate out of Nigeria so i told him my story of how i am where im at now and i referred him here to NL to ask questions. One day i received a text of how he is in a jam and he needed 5k. I went to FB unfriended him and lost his number

You are very right Omega, I don tire 4 all that kind of friends as well. E get one friend wey i know say  him get uncle and some extended families for uk and the guy recently ist tell me say him mama sick and she know fit pay him school fees. I tell am say me wey dey uk self dey look 4 £3k plus to pay my own fees which was true. He was the one waking me up every morning by flashing to lobby for the money. You dont need a soothsayer to translate for you. PDP and their GEJ are getting desperate and in the process, are showing their true colours, which is that GEJ is a staunch believer in maintaining the status quo (perpetrating corruption), just like OBJ planned. This further justifies the suspicion which many held about him when he was hand-picked to deputize over a three-quarter dead dead man by OBJ. The plan worked quite alright, now we are seeing the truth prevailing.
Ask yourself people; why is Anenih (and so many dead woods like him), a celebrated suspected thief of PDP extraction still FIXing for GEJ? Wake up short-sighted, unthinking and sentimental population of mediocrity! I was born in the north and I am constantly surrounded with almajiris who cannot make ends meet, nor their parents. My secondary school was in the south-south where the people can no longer farm, fish nor engage in any meaningful agricultural practice, yet they are the goose that lay the golden egg? I served in the south-west and used to visit lagos where a graduate being an area boy is to make ends meet, where u see graduates holding first class or second class upper as agberos in motor parks or some other unthinkable job which does not befit their credentials. I have had to do business traveling to the east and have seen how energetic, innovative youths engage in unpleasant practices just to earn a living.
Common people, the problems are same ALL over Nigeria. You want proof? People die in accidents all over Nigeria due to bad roads. Malaria is still a killer in about all states. Unemployed youths are everywhere. Armed robbery is common place all over Nigeria! white elephant projects of government both at federal, state and local government levels are spread all over. If you think your state is worse, try going to another and you would be surprised. Listen, we are all victims, none of us is happy!
Care not about that person who rules NIGERIA, no matter his tribe, religion or region, ONLY CARE about HE/SHE who LOVES NIGERIANS and NIGERIA. Because that is our common destiny and we must do ALL we can to protect it! Dont be lured by sentiment, ACT wisely
The time to stop them is NOW, or else in 20 years, I bet you, our children may not even be educated enough to read and understand what I have just written. You know why? Yes, it will be because by then, there may even be no budget for education. All the money of our dear nation would be in personal bank accounts, while NIGERIA will be heavily indebted to ALL the lending houses all over the world.

Its a big shame that someone or group of people because of religion or any sort of justification within their mind would try to blow their fellow human beings up. It is indeed disgraceful. I love both Muslim and Christian brothers and sisters. I was raised up in my grandad's house where he was a devout Muslim and he gave all of his kids muslim names by he never forced them to go to mosque or not. He taught them what he knew about the Islam, some followed and some became Christians.

The surprising the thing and one which i know that can unite people is love for one another. Everyone lived in peace under the same roof in the same house without threatning one another with violence nor with death threats. I was even more surprised that once in a while, the ones that are muslims would preach to the christians to try and convert them and the christians too would do the same. But at the end of it all, love prevailed and everyone is acting on their instinct and believe to what religion they should follow. My lovely, kind, God fearing grandad is now late. Before he died, he was prayed for by the christians in his family and the muslims in his family. My grandma is still a muslim, and those that became a Christian became one and those that stayed been muslims are still muslim.

Religion is not a justifiction for hate, crime death but should rather be a practise by individuals and family members showing love, peace, harmony, togetherness regardless of whether people around them believe in their religion or not.
