As a former Chairman of Fidelity Bank I am curious why Peter Obi whose convoy was caught with N250 million Naira cash in Lagos in 2009,gave the excuse that is was for payment of contractors.

It makes the case far worse given his previous position as Chairman of Fidelity,when he knew an electronic transfer or cheque payment would sufficed.It would he hard to justify why this is not considered money laundering for a simple contract payment of purchase of cars for the Anambra government.

Did Peter Obi approve the payment of cash to contractors who supplied Fidelity Bank with cars for their branches.If he couldn’t apply the same practice at Fidelity Bank,why bring that practice to government.
