Funny guy. |
Jonathan:Lol!!! Once again you v display your Level of intelligence, iPhone gives your high self confidence? Typical African man like I v said b4. |
Howmon:Thanks for the correction. |
Jonathan: MrSix:See them, typical Blackman, typical slavery mentality. If you check very well, they are using fairly used 2016 iPhone in 2019 just to prove something. |
Jonathan:Lol!!!! I don't use tecno but the case that surrounds that Facetime nonsense requires Apple to check themselves, how can they makes it so difficult for honest and innocent person to report serious security breaches while they claimed to be the most secured after BlackBerry. |
Mumu arrogant people, they deserve serious hack. How can somebody try to report serious security breach in your so called very secure stuff and you decline to listen to her. |

US imposes visa sanctions on Ghana for refusing to take back deportees Lagos, Nigeria (CNN) - The United States has imposed visa restrictions on Ghana following the government's refusal to accept Ghanaian nationals deported from the US back into the country. "Ghana has failed to live up to its obligations under international law to accept the return of its nationals ordered removed from the United States," Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said in the statement on Thursday. "The United States routinely cooperates with foreign governments in documenting and accepting US citizens when asked, as appropriate, as do the majority of countries in the world, but Ghana has failed to do so in this case." Nielsen said the Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had instructed consular officers in Ghana to stop issuing some categories of visas to applicants. The DHS statement did not specify the categories of applicants affected by the sanctions. Without an appropriate response from the Ghanaian government, the visa restrictions could extend to a broader population. "We hope the Ghanaian government will work with us to reconcile these deficiencies quickly," Nielsen said. CNN was not immediately able to reach the Ghanaian government for comment. Three hundred and seven people from Ghana were slated for deportation from the United States in 2017; another 243 Ghanaian nationals were due to be repatriated last year, according to a report released by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Countries with visa sanctions had higher deportation rates when compared to previous years, the report said. https://edition-m.cnn.com/2019/02/01/africa/us-visa-sanction-ghana-intl/index.html?r=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F

TechCapon:The problem in Nigeria is that it is very difficult to see young people to have intellectual argument with, many of them don't really know anything except general opinion which is usually not correct. The matter is even worst on nairaland as majority of commentators here lacks exposure, extremely poor in research and really don't know anything other than tribalism, religious bigotry and political sentiment. Funny enough all of them face one direction and they lack logical reason. Gone are the days you open thread on nairaland for logical discussion, intellectual advice and experience opinion, today you will be faced with insult, illogical comments, hate speach and clowns. Nigeria is going down everyday as our educational system becomes poorer and our government becomes unreasonable. Many have internet but it is only Facebook, whatapp and nairaland you will see them sharing fake news and engaging in non educational discussion. Anybody that follows tech news or ordinary news at that knows this is going to happen and pretty soon. |
bongolistik:I believe she was just joking. |
Lexusgs430:Oga!!! You and your umidigi sha... Abeg tell them to have repair Centre in Nigeria, it doesn't need to be big like Huawei Centre or calcare, they can just use gionee model. They trained some guys and rent office space for them in major cities, the office doesn't need to be big. |
Ovie56:LOL!!! That speed difference will not be noticable by normal user, the only noticable difference is probably battery draining and charge speed because SD 855 is on 7nm chips with is about 30% power efficiency than SD 845 and it charges faster than SD 845, if the charging capability of kirin 980 is to be compared which charged 5000mah battery from 0% to 80% in 30minutes. However for people like us feeling is part of the deal, that is why we look for flagship killer with a fraction of flagship price, if not we can just choose from any great phones with downgraded processor such as SD 710 etc. |
Apple messed up, a teenager broke the so called highly secured iPhone firewall and the mother tried to warn Apple for almost 1 week yet they refused to do anything about it until it was actually hacked. |
pacespot:That is the feelings with majority of the users, they also wants u to feel it. |
Ovie56:No at all, SD 845 is still the best proccessor after SD 855, kirin 980 and Apple A12x bionic. Flagship is using the best of the best at a particular point and keeping SD 845 has reduced that feeling. You will feel a part of your phone is still 2018 and not 2019. |
Lexusgs430:Don't mind them, they copy existing innovation, packaged it, make noise about it and slam $$$ on it. Then isheep will rushed it and claim Apple is the best. |
Lexusgs430:Lol!!! Real Apple, but trust Apple they did not call it powerbank, they called it smart battery case. https://www.nairaland.com/4977559/apple-releases-new-smart-battery#75025083 |
Abiodunspectre:Lol, just go and watch plenty reviews on Youtube and it won't take u time to make up your mind. That tecno camon 11 pro and Huawei y7 are to be compared, not with nova 3i or Y9 |
desiignerr:My brother the phone is very beautiful and powerful, it can do almost everything. I wonder why Huawei, Xiaomi and Co deserted for hawk who will use inferior spec and slam big money on it. |
Ahaa that is a big fat lie. |
dryakson:When their ordinary powerbank cost 46500 naira. |
Nothing lasts forever except Aboki's perfume. now apple has woken up to smell the coffee. |
Apple's iPhone revenue has plunged in the December quarter, and the company is ready to make some changes. According to CEO Tim Cook, Apple will reduce prices of the iPhone in markets where local currencies have weakened against the dollar. “As we’ve gotten into January and assessed the macroeconomic condition in some of those markets, we’ve decided to go back to more commensurate with what our local prices were a year ago in hopes of helping the sales in those areas,” Cook told Reuters (via The Next Web). If you've never bought an iPhone outside of the U.S., you may not be aware of just how staggering the price difference is. I've been pointing it out over and over and over -- it's hard to justify spending $1,760 for a maxed-out iPhone XS (UK pricing at launch) when the exact same model costs $1,349 in the U.S. And it's even harder in a country like Hungary, where the price is even higher and the average customer's purchasing power is far lower than in the U.S. Yes, a part of the price difference is in taxes, and yes, the U.S. pricing does not reflect local taxes, and yes, Apple has additional distribution costs in markets other than the U.S. But the simple truth is that iPhone prices are too high for many international buyers, and Apple definitely can do something about it. Now, we've simply reached the point where the company is willing to address the issue. In the same interview, Cook talked about the growth of its services business. There, revenue is up 19 percent year-over-year, and the company is poised to launch new services in 2019, including (probably) a video streaming service. Cook noted that the services gross margin gets more efficient as services business gets larger, and the business gets larger when the company sells more iPhones, so reducing its price makes sense. But it's worth noting that Cook sang a different tune in 2017, when the company launched the iPhone X, its first $1,000 phone. In any case, it'll be interesting to see how new iPhones are priced internationally come September. Unfortunately, Apple does not break down iPhone unit sales in earnings reports at all, let alone by market, so assessing the potential benefits from this new strategy will be hard. https://mashable.com/article/apple-international-iphone-pricing/?utm_cid=mash-com-fb-main-link#8DMUMhYvD9qk
