JackBizzle:Please my friend do a quick google search on the life style of Dali Lama (the head of Tibetan Buddhist monk), moreover if you do a quick research on Buddhism you'll realize that their monks don't work, they simply sit in their magnificent temples and wait for offerings from their poor impoverished followers. That's why we have a ridiculous high rate of poverty in places like Thailand, Sri lanka yet their monks live a life of affluence in magnificent temples On donation: I can tell you again that all religions use their tithes primarily to build and expand their places of worship thereafter charity EXCEPT Islam where it is haram to use Zakat (tithes) to build or expand a mosque |
JackBizzle:Let's start with Buddhism: Number one, the religion does not believe in the hereafter rather they believe in a system called reincarnation which according to scientists is a materialistic tendency developed in order to cope with harsh reality of the fact that life must end. If Buddhist were not materialistic why are they still strongly attached to this material life For Christianity: They are many verses that counters the above which I personally believe Jesus couldn't have said but yet scholars twisted his words and still found its way into the bible for obvious reason e.g "go and be fruitful" etc |
JackBizzle:Okay let me begin with; Hinduism: I guess you know what people go and do in river Ganges (If miracles were not promised what would people be looking for in a dirty, disease infested river) Buddhism: I guess you know what people go and do in their temples, when they buy their incense and make miraculous request (If miracles were not promised, why would you waste your time and money burning incense in front of a statue you made with your hands) Christianity: I don't want to talk about it (its obvious and you know it) and don't rope only pentecostal churches. Maybe atheism, I guess I can agree with you, but also remember some people say atheism isn't a religion |
I remembered in 2010 when Babangida wanted to contest for presidency and how they was a massive protest all over Nigeria against his attempt to even contest to the extent that with all his Billions, Babangida could not even qualify for the PDP primaries talk less of presidency. However compare to 2015 how, many Nigerians virtually begged for Buhari to be our president and I believe that without Buhari, APC would never had even smelt presidency. Now the questions is this? what is or was the difference between Babangida and Buhari after all they were both military? The simple answer to that is, while the former pursued wealth the latter pursued integrity and at the end we can see who became successful (I'm sure if Babangida could go back to the past he would have done otherwise) I personally believe this should be an admonition to all of us that when in pursuit of wealth one should always put integrity first. Wealth would always come based on the decree of God but integrity once lost can never be regained fully....!!! |

Sambo Dasuki- Hausa/Muslim Ngozi Okonjo Iweala- Igbo/Christian Attahiru Bafarawa- Hausa/Muslim Raymond Dokpesi- Etsakor/Christian Haliru Bello- Hausa/ Muslim Bode George- Yoruba/Christian From the above, we can see that when its time for sharing loots, there are no Tribal or Religious or Cultural divides, at that point in time, NIGERIA IS ONE. Fast-forward to election period, that is when we hear; 1) Don't vote for MR A because he is a Christian or Igbo OR don't vote for Mr B because he is a Muslim or Hausa 2) The Muslims want to dominate Nigeria OR we hear the Christians want to dominate Nigeria. Thereby encouraging the masses to hate or discriminate against one another based on tribal or religious sentiment, while in their own comfort don't discriminate against each other. I personally believe the above is an admonition for we the masses, so next time when you hate or discriminate against your neighbour, ask yourself "does he/she really deserves this discrimination or am I just a puppet in the hands of these politicians?"....!!! |
