The truth of the matter is that, Atiku going to America or not would not change the minds of those determined to support him. It won't mean he would lose SS or SE (theoretically) assuming he never got the visa, APC just unfortunately played into his hands when they made his going to America an issue of which they ought to have backed down when Obj was getting involved. The only people who may be swayed by his going to America are educated people like me and you, who are unbiased, read and follow social media, but even with that some would still be sceptical as to why it took the intervention of a former president to be able to secure an American visa for an ex-VP whom also happens to be a billionaire with even investments in that country, moreover from comments so far one could see that majority of those celebrating his American visit are those who are his supporters and would have still supported him even if he didn't get the visa. The truth is that, politics is like a religion, once your mind is made up, it is difficult for you to be convinced especially when election is close!!!!!!! |
GreenArrow2:Wallahi, I confuse!!!!! |
GreenArrow2:QUOTE OF THE DAY: "You see, the average Nigerian is not angry about corruption. He is angry that he does not have access to the proceeds of corruption" can I steal it sir? |
I guess they are all scammers, that was how I bought a brand new HP laptop from Konga, on receiving it, I realized that the specifications I requested for wasn't what was delivered but I ignored it and decided to use it like that, only for me to realize that I couldn't adjust the brightness and most importantly I realized the laptop DIDN'T have a graphic card. When I contacted Konga they linked me to the seller and the seller was trying to buy time (after 7 days, you can't easily return it because Konga would have released his money to him) by telling me that it was a general problem from HP and would be rectified soon. It was when I called HP Office in Lagos and Abuja before I realized it was a lie!!!. When I insisted on returning the system, I discovered the possibility of a conspiracy between some staffs of konga and the sellers, because rather than encouraging me to return it despite all the glaring evidences I showed to them, they were still trying to tell me to talk to the seller if we can work something out (someone whom they ought to punish). After much wahala and after approximately 2 weeks, I got my refund and I vowed never to buy any electronics on Konga because I believe: What is the purpose of your platform if you can't do diligent quality assurance. Funnily enough it would be resold to another innocent person and the cycle would continue till it gets to the "last maga" |
ORIENTATION101:That is why PDP is seriously rattled by this CJN issue, because that was really their joker. All they wanted was Atiku to just try his best in this election (at least come close), so that by the time they cancel some few areas here and there at the tribunal then voila the rest is history. Meanwhile as it stands, even if the CJN survives this assault, aspersion and doubt has already been casted on his integrity both locally and internationally considering the volume of money found in his account (although not a crime) hence any judgement he makes would be scrutinized (that is if he is even allowed to select judges or head the tribunal). The truth is: One of the greatest blow to Atiku's presidency were those last minute defectors (I laugh when people say they are valueless electorally but they forget that those guys bring loads upon loads of valuable information).!!!!! |
ORIENTATION101:While this is going on (Election tribunal), Obasanjo would then use his international influence to convince international organizations example AU, ECOWAS, EU etc to reject the election, breeding fertile ground for judgement against the incumbent by the CJN. Truly sir, the CJN was PDP's last card. |
ZinolyOnlineHelp:Initially, I wanted to ignore your post but when I realized that you claimed to be a veterinary student, I had to pause and give a response in order for you not to mislead innocent people reading your post and assuming it to be correct and authentic because it is been posted by a vet student. For the sake of clarity, I'll itemize the issues one by one. Firstly as a vet student you claimed to be, it is not fair to unjustly lambast a field you voluntarily chose to study thereby giving false impression to innocent people about the profession, my brother you never can know who is who that may be reading this post and may be influential (present/future), whose decision may be antagonistic to the profession simply based on your post he read "after all wetin vets dey do sef no be to treat dog". Secondly, you claim its only dogs Nigerians treat and to be honest that made me doubt if trully you are a vet student because throughout my stay in vet school I hardly came across dog/cats except during practicals. If vets only treat dogs, why then do they study ruminant medicine and surgery, small animal medicine and surgery, swine medicine, avian pathology and medicine, wildlife medicine and even fish pathology and medicine, take note you must go for clinical postings for all the aforementioned, if these animals don't need treatment then what is the point studying the above or don't you know that cattles, pigs, sheep, horses, goat, poultry and even fishes fall sick and it is only a veterinarian that is licensed to treat them except you will acquire the services of a quack for a cheaper amount (of which I don't think a man with a poultry capacity of more than 1,000 birds would want to try it). Thirdly you said "forget self employment" when you had not yet graduated, the implication is that whatever you know about self employment after vet school is hearsay and not from personal experience. Truth be told that even the worst antagonist of the veterinary profession would never say what you said because for God sake in 300 level you will be taught poultry production/pathology/medicine, swine production/pathology/medicine, ruminant (goat, sheep, cattle) production/pathology/medicine, fish production/pathology/medicine, even that of horses and camels. In addition to the above you must compulsorily go for postings both (internal and external) to facilities where the above animals are produced/reared and yet with all these knowledge you dare say "forget self employment" when with less than 50k you can start up a small poultry and with your veterinary knowledge can even make yours stand out !!!! habaaaa!!!! my brother!!!! Finally I must admit that employment into civil service and private sector may not be easy which I believe is not perculiar to the veterinary profession alone, but I belief that with the knowledge an average veterinarian is exposed to, a veterinarian by the grace of God has no business with poverty except the person doesn't know what he or she is doing. Let me stop here. Thanks |
okwabayi:Bad as e be, atleast there would still be 1/100000000 specules of particles left from a cremated body for God to use as a template for resurrecting our bodies, now compare it with when we were nothing I mean empty vacuum (0.0000000) and yet we were brought into existence, my brother with one do you feel would/was easier for God ? |
jamace:I'm suspecting something big is cooking because the string that ties these two assassinations together is this "arms deal". Somebody powerful is about to be exposed and the person is not leaving anything to chances. If I'm AVM Amosu, I will voluntarily go to efcc headquarters and start living there!!!! |
Isobug:That was after Atiku tricked them by promising each of them the VP slot !!!!!!! |
helinues:love that quote, is it for real or you formed it, cos I want to start using it!!! |
Sorry guys but why is no one talking Entertainment Law, I guess few people are into it and it seems quite lucrative considering the amount of record labels and signings that are proliferating today...!!! |

Oblongata:Reading what you wrote and correlating it with the girls picture, I didn't know when tears filled my eyes. Sincerely govt should clamp down on all these herbalist. |
Sikay19:Confirmed 100% correct, sincerely it really baffles me. If tommorrow the Bible is revised to include a dress code for Christians and the Nigerian government now amends the law to accommodate Christians WILLING to follow the dress code to dress in that manner, I can't imagine myself or any Muslim complaining, Complain for what Wetin concern me . Provided they don't enforce it on non Christians in a government owned school, we are cool with that. So I don't understand the whole problem!!!!!! |
Although I stand to be corrected. GEJ participated in an election, lost the election and conceded Simple!!!! The other option would simply have been for him to cheat!!! (cancelling elections in some polling unit etc). Do people now want us to eulogize GEJ for not cheating . It could have been an entirely different case (the way it's trying to be projected) if GEJ was cheated and despite that still conceded defeat then I would have if possible had personally recommended him for a Nobel Prize. NB It would be unfair to say GEJ was cheated, remember it was the same INEC chairman who umpired the election that brought him in was that same who supervised 2015 elections. |
kingthreat:You forgot Gbagbo of Ivory Coast wife and even Gbagbo himself whose case is still in court!!! |
tyson98:Gbam!!!!!! |
Longluk:Even the ones that have not been arrested are layng low, because of the arrests. |
blessedvisky:It reminded me of when we were doing our IT at a veterinary clinic. We had a case of dystocia in a goat and during the Caesarean Section, I remembered the chief veterinary surgeon saying "Chai see meat, sincerely after this surgery, I will buy this goat from the owner". I was like (in my mind) What is now the essence of all this wahala since you will end up buying this same animal from the owner and Killing it !!!!! |
pls pardon my ignorance and if I'm wrong please my brothers educate me. A clean toks of this car is closed to a million. If you go there with your mechanic and OP brings it down to 350, and you spend 200 on engine 150 on body and 100 for miscellaneous. All that boils down to 800 which I feel is a good bargain of course depending on what your mechanic says. But remember, I might be wrong!!! |
Naijawebmaster:Yes sir it may still be infected depending on the infective agent . There are some microorganisms that have the capability to withstand high temperature (thermophiles) and since the boiling point of water during cooking is about 100 degrees, they may survive. Also sir, some microorganisms have the ability to form shells and protective covering around themselves example Mycobacteria tuberculosis, which may limit the effect of heat on them. The funny part is many people contact a lot of diseases from eating all these meat and milk products, it was even discovered recently that a bacteria called Brucella spp causes miscarriage in women and an average man can never detect this bacteria in meat/milk except a Vet, hence a lot of women suffer from miscarriage and then blame their village people!! without knowing it was the meat they ate. Finally all these above problems can be solved if veterinary practice is taken seriously by the government and appropriate laws and enforcement process is put in place. |
I find it hard to believe that our current technological advances would go obsolete. Wait, after tablets, 60gb memory card/flash drive, flat screen TVs, Internet accessiblity, super slim 2 terrabyte laptops. Wetin cum remain again!!!!! flying laptops or invincible flash drive lolzzzz |
murphyibiam15:Abiiii, my brother or have you forgotten police and even university lecturers too |
The OP is right, I've been to some of the above places and believe you me the encounter was touching. When we visited prison, I was shown some prisoners who have been in that same prison since when I was in secondary school.....!!!. When I first dissected a human body, I saw first hand a real life dilemma, a boy who was my mate physically but his tag showed he had been dead about 3 yrs earlier, so the question is who is older . I've also seen in a morgue where Table 1 lies a dead woman, Table 3 lies her brother and Table 5 her cousin, the other sibling was in intensive unit (they were attacked by robbers). Sincerely how many can one mention, eyes done see, we should just be giving thanks!!!!? |
Teacher1776:I agree with you to a reasonable extent, but what I'm suspecting is that, the fracture was very serious. In the course of packing and supporting the fracture with POP or other traditional materials they mistakenly constricted a major blood vessel which lead to what we are seeing. What we are seeing from my viewpoint is Ischemic necrosis due to lack of oxygen supply. And also remember because the wound was packed and it would be difficult to see the extent of damage before it got to this level. Just my viewpoint ......!!! |

Akwa Ibom
Before Amaechi said they'd have to kill people in this country for it to get better, I had already (along with a few Nigerians) suggested that the best solution was to "Fumigate" the ENTIRE country.
