"ajumobi ko kan tanu, eni to olorun ba ran si lo nseni lore" |
Babybush:Bros, no be fight, Shebi I beg una before I start. I didn't understand the circular very well that what made me ask. Note I'm neither a human medic nor a pharmcist |
Please I want to ask an innocent question for enlightenment. I want to understand the correlation between the circular above and the postgraduate consultancy program (West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacist). The circular above says you can only be a consultant after reaching level 17 while for postgraduate consultancy program even a fresh pharmacist can apply and become a consultant, my question now is, which consultant are we to acknowledge, is it the civil service level 17 consultant or the one from postgraduate consultancy program? Thank you as I anticipate your kind responses. |
AdaIhiala:permission to copy MA, I want to send it to my students whatzapp group.....!!! |
Oziahete:Gbam!!!!! Although I take exception to some of the things you said but your main point is correct, for God's sake how will you barge into a girl that you barely talk to OR you are not on same frequency and tell her you love her . It's very obvious she will say No except maybe she is desperate. My approach is spend some time and induce her gradually. When I wanted to ask my wife out, After spending much time and proper induction I simply asked? What how you feel about me? and she said "There is no way two people would share so much as we have done and not develop feelings for each other ". My brother that was all, and the rest was history. So sir, I believe you are correct. |
africanusvu:lolzzzzzzzzzz, as if you will just travel out to, for example UK or US and just barge into any hospital and present your MD certificate and voila!!!!! you get employed and be earning 50,000 dollars per month. I know of a story of a surgeon in Nigeria who travelled to US, and is working as a taxi driver, but although I guess they are doing well and even a story of a doctor working as a chef in UK (I guess it was on NL). Even those who schooled over there are finding it difficult to get employment there except those born there or have citizenship. Rather than for these people to tell the younger ones the truth, they make them feel as if it is easy to just jet out and work abroad. No parastal in Nigeria is well paid from lecturers to even our security operatives (What do you expect a soldier who collects about 50k per month to go to Sambisa to fight BH to say) in fact compared to other professions in Nigeria, Dr's salary structure is better, right from NYSC (in Sokoto, Dr, Vets and Dentists earn 50k minus fed alawee while others like Botany, Education, Microbiology etc earn 5k) to civil service where a fresh graduate earns about 70-80k per month (placed at Level Eight) while a fresh Dr earns about 150k+ (placed at Level 12), almost X2. So to me it's a general problem in Nigeria and I believe Dr's are better off compared to other professions. |
Afamed:What of North Central remember these herdsmen killings and also put in consideration that if GEJ can field a powerful Northern candidate as VP example Kwankwaso |
MrPolitics:Sir, I was discussing with my wife yesterday and she said something I thought was funny, when I asked her who is Nigeria had the greatest chance to defeat PMB in the next election, and her response was GEJ!!!!. I initially dismissed it but her analysis was mind-boggling. 1) GEJ is the only candidate that can bring out the SS and SE enmasse to come out on that day to vote, No northern aspirant can do that. 2) With this herdsmen killings in NC, take note we have many Christians there, GEJ can also divide PMB's vote there. 3) In SW, although GEJ may not have much in roads especially with this PDP crises, despite that we still have many people in SW sympathetic to GEJ(financial influence too can make a change). 4) She finally added that to top it off, GEJ should field a very strong northern VP like for example Kwankwaso who may pull some votes in the north (NW and NE) with his kwankwasiya movement especially in Kano. Finally she was like anybody apart from GEJ who contests against PMB in this forth comming election is just a was of time. As a political analyist who valid is her submissions ![]() |
rusher14:"Whatever you do, do it with a conviction and best interest. Sit back and watch how things evolve" WORD !!!!!. At least Atiku has said all youths are hardworking while PMB said otherwise, luckily for us they are both contesting, hence those who are not happy with the statement PMB made should simply vote for the man who said they are hardworking and let them let us hear word.....!!!! |
rusher14:Hey, really loved your article you posted yesterday on Youths and Laziness, it was a very wonderful article and I followed it all through. I would have commented on the article but I had fears of been called a BMC, you know Nairaland Nah. Keep it up sir |
XVIER:"YOU MAKING HIS LIFE BETTER BY BEING IN IT"- words on marble. Can you permit me to share with my students this morning? |
zicoraads:PERCEPTION IS THE KEY !!!!!! Reminds me of the movie Hercules |
PapaBrowne:God bless you sir, you just took words of my mouth, you didn't add Daily independence - James Ibori. So what I do is this for every event l, I read one pro-government newspaper one anti-government newspaper and I balance it with a blog, to get a balanced view of any event......!!! |
khalazi:WORD!!!!!!!! |
Now that you've all confirmed that King Center never gave him an award, the next question we should ask ourselves is: 1) Who was the woman that visited him? (was she really MLK's wife) 2) Who were the people we saw with her in the picture? (were they really MLK's relatives) and 3) finally what was the plaque we saw them give him in the picture for? These above are salient points we need to examine for us to get to the root of the matter. |
Abdulhakeem78:Lolzzzzz |
LibertyRep:I'm with you 100% on this, normally with the amounts of quotes you are getting, if you are not strong, you would have started questioning whether you posted rubbish or not, but believe me you what you wrote up there is the truth. Bigotry has so blinded us so much that we lose our sense of justice. I school in the north, I mean CORE north and we dare not do anything on Sundays not even fix a 5 mins test no matter how important and I support. Look for there to be peace in our world between various religions Justice and Respect is paramount. Ask those attacking you that if WAEC decided to place any of their papers on Sunday 9-12, what would be their reaction? That is when we will hear "Buhari wants to Islamize Nigeria, CAN will start releasing statements etc". in conclusion let us learn to respect one another and do justice. |
Nice one, right step in the right direction. Next step is job provision which I believe would come if quackery is combated, by the time all engineering firms (both big and small scale) are mandated to have qualified engineers not craft men etc, for them to be registered, God willing we would all see the massive demand and lucrativeness of this noble profession. One again, right step in the right direction. |
Peterjosh:I totally agree with you, infact I was still discussing this issue with my wife. In Nigeria, they make it look like a crime if you did not study a so called "professional course". From your family to school down to NYSC discrimination everywhere. Abroad people pride themselves studying botany, zoology etc, in fact you would even see a highschool student saying we wants to study biology in the university, but in Nigeria such courses are for those who wanted professional courses but couldn't get it, forgetting that all courses have their role to play in the society. I just did this topic to take out time to appreciate our engineers because the discrimination they face is too much. Let us look at it together, think about it, is it right for a Civil engineer to be teaching maths in a primary school or even a mechanical or chemical engineer habaaaa. So that's it my friend, I totally agree that all courses are important for the development of our society. |
thankyouJesus:Thanks so much, I'll make the correction ASAP |
sweetgala:I even heard you guys are doing a course called " Abstract Algebra " and" Advanced partial fraction ". So the normal Mat 101 Partial fraction never finish I was also told that Integration and Differentiation that showed us pepper in Mat 102 is just one of the tools you would use to solve bigger equations.....!!! |
sweetgala:20 PAGES ANSWER !!!!!! Waow. Respect to your profession |
For a start, I'm a 500 level Veterinary Medical student and our allowances are also higher, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't give honor to whom honor is due. I personally have a deep and profound respect for Engineers, sincerely it is not easy. From experience so far, you can survive in medical school (I studied Human Anatomy in my first degree) if you have a photographic memory, maybe have some little glitches in surgery but I doubt if photographic memory can help you in engineering school. For example, I was speaking to an engineering student and he was giving me an instance of the nature of their questions. He said in some courses, they just give the questions, NO formula !!!. You would have to think of the appropriate formula to use, derive the formula yourself before finally applying it to solve the question. With due respect, a dullard cannot do the above rather it takes someone with a high IQ. That is why I will always duff my hat for a 1st class engineering student. Furthermore inasmuch as we need doctors we also need engineers even more (my opinon tho), How? The last time I went to the hospital for treatment without exaggeration was more than 5yrs ago, not that I didn't fall sick but most of us still have an idea of what to do if we fall sick it is only if serious we go to the hospital. But for engineering can you count the amount of times you've visited a mechanic, electrician or even a generator repairer just this year? I'm sure we know the answer. The OP has a lot of valid points in his topic "Injustice to Engineering Graduate, Corper". But the problem facing their profession is QUACKERY and INACTION from the part of their association. If laws can be put in place, for example: ensuring all mechanic workshops are duely registered and licensed and the requirement is at least one B Tech or B Engineering holder incharge of that place, imagine the demand we would have for engineers (especially now that cars are getting advanced by the day). Also for civil engineering, No Building or construction should be approved by the government without showing the list of those who would work on the site, which must include a licensed civil engineer (B Tech or B Engineering). And many more opportunities I believe engineers and engineering students can add. In conclusion if the above is done, the demand for engineers both Nysc and Post Nysc would increase and their dues would be duly paid. Thank you |

blessedvisky:I studied Anatomy, although it was IT, I did it at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital Department of Forensic Pathology Ikeja. The place shares the same building with TOS Benson Funeral home. But if you really want to qualify to work there aside Anatomy, I presume MBBS with speciality in pathology or Medical Laboratory Science |
Sincerely this is a very sticky situation that I don't even wish for my enemy, its even more complicated if you guys just had sex. From my experience in working in a forensic lab (autopsy). The possible senarios can happen. 1) If they find semen in her vagina, they would assume you raped her to death = (Death or Life imprisonment), if you are lucky at most they would assumed she died of sexual exhaustion or sex induced cardiac arrest= manslaughter (7-10 yrs). 2) If you guys didn't have sex, pray she didn't die of poisoning because they would assume you poisoned her and you will have nothing to prove yourself except the person who poisoned her confesses (you may have spent like 15yrs in prison). 3) If she dies of any other factor be it trauma, allergy, sickness or natural cause believe you me, you will be the primary suspect and the odds you would go scotfree is very slim. My advice: Prevention is better than cure, Never ever carry strange girls or guys. Shikena!!!!!. PS "don't even think of attempting to dispose of the body" |
sekem:lolzzzzzzzzz. very soon they will call us BMC......!!! |
jnfoage:Sir, I just told my wife now that you just summarize all I wanted to say in a even better form. Anywhere you see likes, just know I'm the one........ lolz |
jnfoage:. God bless you. This is what I've been trying to point out. Rather I'm getting insults. In fact let me dash you one like..... |
BeardedMeat:"Not even sure how to begin to enlighten a BLINDMAN". From this I'm sure we are now able to begin to see the origins of problems we are facing in this country......!!! |
