, as for me, i repeat, both men and women are responsible for the success of a marriage. Marriage success does not largely depend on any particular sex. In that same passage where women were asked to be submissive, there is also a command for the husbands too, and just as there are many bible teachings for Godly wives there are just as many too for Godly husbands, so the men have their own commands to keep just as the women have theirs to keep. Its a joint task.

Men just love it when women are condemned, and vice versa. Hahahaha.... am just imagining how different the comments here would have been had the bishop said marriages were failing due to lack of love, infidelity and irresponsibility on the part of men. The men would have bn commenting differently likewise the women. Lets stop kidding ourselves, we all know that both men and women have abandoned the rules, standards, principles, laws & commandments given by God concerning marriage. No particular sex is soley responsible for d high rate of marriage failure and i believe the Bishop does not mean that only women are at fault for broken marriages. This particular statement was probably necessitated by the topic of d day or whatever, i wasnt at the service.

I agree that u may pass out, cos of all d blood and escruciating pain, but plz dont use d word 'NASTY' to describe this wonderful event of a child being brought into d world. The atmosphere in a labour /delivery room can be very emotionally overpowering, but trust me, watching ur child/a child being born is one of d most beautiful/magical things to witness. (for those who can stand d blood and pain). My husband tried to stay for our first but it was very difficult for him, he was with me untill the pain got unbearable, i actually noticed him shed a tear b4 he patted me on d back and said. "I will be in d reception" b4 rushing out. He just hung around d hospital until i gave birth. That has bn our pattern. grin

. So yes, for some men, it can be very daunting.

Quite with immediate effect my brother. I was working with Etisalat when I got a federal government job. Up till now I never know my salary Cus I am still under training but I'm chopping life like I'm already collecting salary.
The benefits cannot be over emphasized. Then think about FG pension, gratuity after retirement and job security. The word is enough for the wise. Even this ongoing jamb admission we were asked to submit our candidates names and prefared choice of university.

I think its just his personality. But my dear in a country where even as a 'normal person' ( no insult inteded on him, but u know what i mean) u have to struggle to amount to anything, U can imagine what this little guy who stopped growin at a particular age, (whatever dat medical condition is called) had to go through growing up. He must have struggled with self-esteem issues, bullying from friends, inferiority complex. Peers may have mocked and made jest of him countless times and he must have cried and wondered what he would ever amount to. By all means he can show all d pride he wants. Am sure he is constantly thinking Imagine what I finally achieved and is still achieving. Honestly I feel that in his case it's allowed. If na me sef over proud go worry me. grin

my dear u are very right about ds being an average in our time, but i dont think u should blame ds guy for celebrating, especially with how education has really deteriorated over time. Sometimes i feel so frustrated because even with d high fees my husband and i are payin in the so called good schools, i still feel i had better education dan my kids are currently getting. I have had to do more at home than d teachers are doing in school. It just drives me crazy. I don talk tire for PTA, the school authorities will defend and defend instead of taking corrections and improving d quality of teachers they employ. Sometimes i dont even blame dem, where are d good teachers to employ, when everyone wants banking and oil company jobs. Nursery and primary school teaching has bn left to secondary school leavers who are looking for part time job while dey await jamb and secondary school teaching left to uninterested graduates who are passing time waiting for better job opportunity. There are very few dedicated teachers. School owners are not even dedicated talk more of dia teachers. Its all about their business(money) for dem oo. My dear No one cares ooo. And all these is talkin about private schools oo. Government schools is anoda whole long story. All these plus distractions which our youngsters are facing now, cable networks, social media, etc. Its really terrible. So i can understand d boys celebration oo cheesy

, am sure many of his classmates dint do half as good. Its really terrible. God will help us.
