I dont know about okada ridding but u are right, there a lot of non sexual activities dat culd partially or actually break d hymen. My cousins hymen had to be broken during a medical procedure, to diagnose and treat a very serious vaginal problem when she was a teenager. I remember she cried and lamented about it for a very long time .

All of u saying house helps shuld be banned because its modern day slavery, remember that even though we hv many house helps that are being maltreated we equally have a good number of those whose lives have been bettered and totally transformed by good employers. And in the same way we have good employers and good house helps we hv bad employers and bad helps too. So lets not just discredit something cos of bad eggs. Good and bad must always abound in diff aspects of life, we hv bad husbands, we hv bad wives, should marriage then be banned? The world is filled with good and bad people and God has allowed the world to remain. From what many ppl are saying here, it means If God was a man he would hv ended d world a long time ago just because we hv bad and wicked ppl. despite the wicked ppl, the world is still a livable and enjoyable place. Back to the story, i dont know the true story but if i must go with how its told here, then d house help is either mentaly deranged or just plain evil to do dat in just 24hrs of being employed. I cant wrap my head around what d madam could hv done to her in just less dan a day of her being there, and even if perhaps she did anything, the house help culd hv just left. Her reaction to whatever it was that d madam did (if she did anything) means shes an equally evil person.

Haba nagging na normals na... Even though na bad habit it doesn't necessarily mean the woman is a bad wife. All of u sayin op should send her packing... Na wa oo. Even men nag wen dey are broke. Honestly lets be truthful to ourselves... Nobody behaves normal (both husband, wife & children ) during dose brief broke moments. It can be a frustrating time for the whole family. Some people are confusing love with like. A parents love for their kids is always equal. Infact its an unexplainable thing. Its just natural.... Lol. It's possible she dropped out of med school in a class like 400l and has been practicing in small clinics where she learns stuffs from other doctors. It's possible she has a doc (she's very close to) who she asks for direction when she's stuck. It's also possible she just prescribes drugs to treat symptoms not diseases (e.g analgesics for pain, antibiotics for any infection etc).. there are a whole lots of possibilities. And you know the people that are quacks have usually had one encounter or the other with the health system, they are not entirely 'outsiders'.

And for the doctors you think are olodos, how are you sure they are not quacks and that they truly graduated and are licensed? Lol.

I totally agree with you. There are a whole lot of possibilities. There is also the possibility that this lady although not a certified doctor may actually have a vast knowledge in medicine. Exam is not the true test of knowledge. After all Bill gates, Mark Zuckerberg, steve Jobs and a host of other successful ppl in their various fields all dropped out of school, never actually got degrees for d fields they are supposedly masters in. Even in naija we have very good skilled technichians, electricians etc who never studied engineering and the like. Never saw the walls of any school. They are still way knowledgeable than so many so called graduates of mechanical and electrical engineering. We have mathematicians who never went to uni who will teach maths more than some mathematics graduates. We have skilled midwives who never went to nursing school.... And a whole host of others. The medical profession is not exempted, so don't act like every doctor in naija is a genius, so while I agree with you on the fact that many of them are credible, I still maintain that some are just as useless as the quacks.... and like i said, I know some of them... and no, they are not quacks, They actually graduated and went through all the other processes. They belong to the group that prescribe drugs to treat symptoms and call colleagues wen in a fix.

Your point is flawed. Medical education in Nigeria and elsewhere is different from the conventional education. Medical students attend calls, see patients in clinics before the consultant (who assesses and scrutinizes their findings) sees, attend ward rounds where they are shown clinical examinations hands on etc Some schools like Unilorin even have models and mannequins for real time clinical skills.
Their exams are also very different. They have clinical exams which they do with real patients and they get to discuss their findings. AND NO MATTER YOUR SCORE IN THE OTHER ASPECTS OF THE EXAM, IF YOU SAY YOU'LL DO ANYTHING WHICH HAPPENS TO BE DETRIMENTAL TO THE PATIENT'S HEALTH, YOU'VE FAILED.
There are also always senior consultants from other teaching hospitals too during the exams. So, the standard cannot easily fall..

I hear u.... I don't want to sound like am defending ds lady oo, cos its really beginning to look dat way. So how is it that she has bn able to successfully work in all dz hospitals they said she worked in. (The British American Tobacco (BAT) clinic, Ibadan, the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) and eventually in Rauz Hospital, Apo, Abuja before she was apprehended.) Was she just sitting around doing nothing? I am just wondering oo. I can only conclude that she must be really good, to some extent. Well thank God d MDCN guys fished her out.... Mnwhile guy.... I hv met some olodo doctors oo.... As in, that went through all dz process wey u list here.... forget that thing.

I read that part okay... I was replying in respect to the comment i quoted which was that she had probably endangered so many lives... (well, maybe). I was only tryin to make the point that these days naija education is so messed up that we shuldnt b surprised dat as unqualified as she may be, she may probably be better than some so called doctors. My point was dat lives are equally in danger in the hands of some MDCN registered doctors who are just as useless as d lady. Maybe i wasnt clear in making my point. I haven't by any means excused what she did.....

i agree with you, when i was about to enter uni, my old man called me for some grown up talk. he did not tell me not to have sex, his advices were

1) do not promise any girl marriage
2) always wear a condom, (he is a doc by the way, so he have seen loads of cases).
3) dont bother coming back home with anything less than 2:1

Its not dat simple, do u think dat just because dna test shows she is d mother, den d court will just hand d kid to her, u forgot dat d sperm is d sisters husband's sperm so dna will also show dat he is d father, so d case will be more complicated than u think. Meanwhile most often, in custody cases d childs best interests is mostly considered. Custody is likely granted to d parent who can offer a better life for d kid. Remember dat ds lady is not well to do, (she is even looking for money to train her kids) and she still has to get her husband on board cos if he is not willing to take care of anoda mans child, den d custody case will even be in favour of the real father. So its really not as simple as u think. Infact for ds lady court is not d way to go. And i dont think she wants d boy, she just wants d sisters financial help so she should try anoda means or just let it be

I don't Know what the Nigerian legal system is like, but the truth is she doesn't have legal rights over the baby since there's already a legal mother.
But then, surrogacy is like using someone as a container, her sister and the baby do not share the same DNA, and if her eggs were used science will recognize that she's the real mother through a DNA test. Depending on what the Nigerian law says about surrogacy she may be able to take her kid back, but as for the money she won't get a penny cos there was no signed agreement. The most that can happen is that she should threaten to go public with the issue and her sis might be forced to do her part of the deal. The main thing is she can easily prove her maternity to the kid with a simple DNA test, whereas the stepsister doesn't have any blood link with the kid

u forgot dat d egg was fertilised with the sisters husbands sperm, so even if DNA tests proves shes d mother, it will also prove d sisters husband is d father. So gettin d kid back isnt goin to be a walk in d park. So long as d sisters husband is found to b d father of d kid, then she must be ready with a very convincing story which will be her grounds for asking the court to grant her custody of d kid. I really wonder what she will be able to cook up as her grouds for wanting custody. And lets not forget dat she collected 30k after d procedure which her sister and hubby can use against her to mean it was a mutual agreement and she was duly paid. Unless she lies dat she never received any money. Infact any story except d truth will only complicate d case. It will now become a case of their story against hers... In my opinion, she doesn't stand a chance, she might as well just let it be. Infact she stands to loose more considering she still has to open up to her hubby who she isnt sure will take her confession well.
