Am i suprised dat d bride is already being bashed for a statement dat may have just been written by a hater... Of course not, are we not on nairaland were women are alwayz devils, biitches, shameless prostitutes and every bad thing u can think of.... SMH. Social media where anybody can just come on and write anything. So a statement from someone who may just be lying is swallowed hook, line and sinker. Whats d proof this person isnt just hating? In my own case, my parents werent d beating type. But e get one special chair for my papa room dat time.... Cheiii d worst punishment in my house den was to go and sit there. U go just sit there like statue, ur only entertainment na to watch d ceiling fan rotate. Ur prayer go be make God just touch eem mind to say those magic words.. "u can go". The worst thing dat can happen to u was for him to forget and NTA 9 oclock news start... Omooo, na dia u go sleep because no hope till 10... And depending on wen d punishment began, e fit be say u never chop night food. Kaiii dat punishment dint use to be funny oo. At times u fit sit on dat chair from 5 in d evening till 10. Dat time we de wish say na beat dem de beat us oo, because highest 10 mins u don cry finish forget matter.

My Doctor said same was done to me but the grace of growing up in Nigeria saved me.

There are slow acting poison that can be given in little doses to slowly weaken the system and someone dies of seemingly natural causes.

People poison other people everyday and no one lifts an eyelid... So why would she bother giving rationed doses for 8 years.. Is he like a celebrity or politician? isnt it more funny dat guyz even take the trouble to propose in the first place and ask the silly question 'will u marry me' knowing the obvious answer is yes. *shrugging* so if u guyz are saying she shouldnt act suprised because she was expecting it, then we can argue that the 'will u marry me' by d guy is not neccessary in the first place since its obvious to both parties that the relationship is ending in marriage. So guyz, this is d deal... While some women are actually suprised by the proposal, (probably cos she dint see any future in the relationship) most women act all suprise to plz and appreciate the effort and thought that u put in the proposal. Seriously will u rather she just accepts the ring without any emotion. Trust me, she is actually sighing and saying to herself... 'Its about time' The act of suprise is really just for the guyz ego. Ur state of origin does not change. The emphasis origin means where u actually originated from irrespective of move, marriage, etc. Thats why it says origin. The question "whats ur state of origin?" is similar to asking "whats your maiden name?" just as it is expected that ur maiden name is ur name before getting married, anyone or any form asking for ur state of origin expects the state where u are originally from b4 marriage.

A woman who waits to be loved first before respectin and submitting, disobeys God. That bible passage never said or suggested that husbands should love their wives when they submit and neither did it in anyway suggest that wives should submit when the man has shown love. So in my opinion no one comes first before the other.

If only every husband and wife can just obey Gods command and play their own part unconditionaly all these problems in marriages wont occur. Our problem has and will always be that of disobedience. Christians attach conditions before they obey Gods commands thats the problem we have these days not only in marriage but even in other areas of our lives. "I wont until..." "I will only if...." I dont see any marriage or any relationship for dat matter where there is full and unconditional obedience to Gods command having issues.

I wonder what would have become of our lives had it been God waits for us to first obey, love and respect him before blessing, favouring or protecting us.

I believe that God just wants everyone to play his and her own part.. simple.

Haba!.... Embarassed? In my family, we are six girls and our only brother. The boy don tire for us naa. He don see us unclad like a zillion times. Sometimes he bumps into us and sometimes we call him into our room to ask or tell him something... honestly, most times it doesn't even occur to us that we are unclad. He constantly begs us with a frown to put clothes on when we know hes around. We always laugh and tell him we are sorry... cheesy

actually some ppl look much older than their age, others much younger... I used to think same way too untill my daughter started maturing.. She is 12 in jss 2 but meehn shes looking like she is about to write jamb oo, infact she evn looks to some ppl like a fresher undergraduate. D tin don tire me sef. Her shoe size is 42 ooo, inshort she is actually 11plus.. Shes yet to clock 12 sef later in d yr Hnmmmmmm. She too isnt too happy about her stature, she is lookin like d mama of the class, mnwhl most of her class mates clocked 12 last year and look much smaller dan her. Infact at my immediate sistas wedding last yr, a uni class mate of another younger sis of mine was trying to get my daughters number through her and my sis was like "Haaa! Thats my 11yr old niece ooo".. D way i de police d girl because of ds her stature eeh. Na God go help me ooo. But i try to make her feel happy an comfortable about it cos she dint create her self.....

After all Jesus was not treated any better in his dayz wen he spoke out against d ills of men, so who is Fr Mbaka. I strongly dont believe Fr Mbaka has derailed in anyway. Its my opinion anywayz, i am not God, but i would rather not speak ill against a man of God. After all, even if it turns out dat am wrong, i wuld hv lost nothing.
