PoliticsDo The Needful Debatable Or Not by SHAAWA(op):
Do the needful

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jump to: navigation, search

"Do the needful" is an expression which means "do that which is necessary", with the respectful implication that the other party is trusted to understand what needs doing without being given detailed instruction.

The expression is currently used mainly in South Asian English (particularly Indian English). The expression was current in both British[1] and American English[2] well into the early 20th century, but is now considered obsolete, slang, and improper. In later years it was sometimes used as a parody example of contemporary South Asian English.

The Oxford English Dictionary lists examples of usage from 1709 (Richard Steele in the Tatler), 1771 (Samuel Foote in Maid of Bath), 1821 (Maria Edgeworth in a letter), 1831 (Walter Scott in his journal), 1929 (I. Colvin in his Life of Dyer), and 1992 (Jeff Torrington in Swing Hammer Swing!), the last likely used humorously.[1]

no reason on earth that would have made me not to grant her my approval
eacept may be I don't have the money readily available which doesn't
apply in this situation. The building took her exactly one year to
complete and she never bothered to inform me until I found out myself.
The main issue there is that she has betrayed trust and loyalty in my
marriage that I now deeply fear for my safety. If I have assurance that
she means no harm, then I have no issue with the building or any of her
other investments that I may not be aware of. But unfortunately, she's
not talking and some key members of the family who are trying to savage
the situation are saying she is neither picking no returning their calls
as well. We can't make any meaningful progress here without
communication.
Good to hear, this is not enough reason to break up your home. Ask
yourself how many of such trust have you broken without her knowing.
Just tell her how you feel congratulates her on her achievement.

Let her be assured that she will always have your support and lastly, live up to your responsibility take care of her and the kids the way you have been doing before, forget the part she is earning more than you.

@Op
so your wife is the villain in the story? How many men consult their
wives when buying houses and cars for the other woman/girlfriend? thank
God you know the source of her income we wud have been hearing a different
story by now.

If she is bad she wouldnt have involved a man of God, she would have involve any other person but not a man of God.

some men do make a mistake of allowing their wives to shoulder the whole responsibility in the house the moment they know she has money.

What

really is the problem? her owing a property or her not telling you? I
am a woman and I know alot of women that never had any investment or
landed property simply because they were waiting for their husbands
permission.

Alot of men usually get insecure the moment their wives start earning
more than them, they see evry action of hers as rude or unruly even if
she happens to be a better person than she was before.

Be honest, wud you have given her your consent if you knew?

visit or apparition of Gabriel, Mohamed was an illiterate so I'm
wondering how he wrote the Quran or how did he even understand what
Gabriel was saying? Did Gabriel taught him Arabic first?
go back to my post on this i have updated, the thing is my phone cannot upload lengthy texts. i will updating there so that it can flow better.
IslamRe: Hajj Miracle: Sudanese Woman Regains Vision After Years Of Blindness by SHAAWA:

author=Bpriest]so you accept that Mohamed wrote the Quran? Good.
Now if I may ask, how did it happen? Did Gabriel told him what to write
in one day? Or they had several sessions?
Also how come you guys say he was illiterate? If indeed he was illiterate
how come he understood what Gabriel said and was even able to write it
down?
No, how can an illiterate write a book? Just as other messengers of God
before him receives their messages thru revealations so does he, what
happened was anytime the angel revealed came to him with the messages he
repeated it word to word and his learned disciples will write it on
animal skin, bark of tree, bones, engraved on stones e.t.c these
recordings were compiled in a period of 23yrs.

These collections were later compiled in a book form which we know now
as the quran.

Every chapter in the quran begins with 'In the name of God the most
beneficient the most merciful, it very common to find words like say,
tell them at the beginning of some verse.

Muhammad was an Arab so God can only speak to him in a language that he
can understand.
God spoke to Moses in his language. or are saying God cannot speak
arabic?

If you know the history of the bible you will know that the first bible
came into existence 200yrs after the death of Christ, the gospels of
John, Luke e.t.c were never written by them cox in some cases they were
50yrs after their death. Mark was around 10yrs old when Jesus was
crucify.

I will suggest that you put the bible under the same scutunity as you
are doing with the quran, read it with same glasses you are doing with
the Quran.

You see that the bible contains word of word, word of the prophets,
words of known and unknown historians, pornography e.t.c yet you
consider it to be the word of God.

If you are looking for the sayings and deeds of Mohammed then you have to read the Hadith.

Dont get me wrong as muslim, I am a believer of the Gospel of Christ the purest gospel devoid of historians interpolations, fabrications and concoctions.

There are things are i will like to point out to u but they wont meaning unless you have a quran with you.
can you download one or open any chapter from it from the beginning, read it and tell me what you read or just copy and paste the first 2 or 3verses.
