NaijaMutant: We are no longer surprised how sophisticated people mine human body parts.
We are only shocked at how cheap these body parts are sold.
2 Police skulls were sold for 500 naira in Oyo the other day.
Now, a human heart is sold for 10,000 in the same Oyo
Pls how much is the complete human being sold in Oyo?
That’s not fair at all. We must be surprise of the security conditions of this country. Honestly, I don’t feel indifferent about this news. The narration alone pierced my soul
You didn't construct good roads nor have proper markings for bike Lanes...the next thing to do is roll out bikes all over Ibadan for people to get knocked down.
londonbanks: It's not just the fact that she forgot, it's that she's not invested in what we have. I've taken her out on a couple of dates where the majority of the time she was on her phone and not being receptive to my feelings even though I asked her politely to put it away.
Whenever she wants something from me she uses words like "baby" but soons as I send her money it's crickets from then on. Anytime I text her during the day to see how her day is she doesnt reply back and even when she does its "good" or "okay", quick short answers and doesnt reciprocate by asking about mines.
The birthday was the last straw because I had texted her few days ago and she completely ignored me until the day after apologising but only because hers is coming up in a few weeks and probably doesnt want to burn that bridge. She'll forget my birthday but will post on her stories constantly about other people wishing them theirs. It's clear at this point that she's been using me for money and doesn't care about me. Its always the ones you least expect.
Anyways I appreciate anyone who took the time to read this, your input will be greatly appreciated.
I was expecting you to write with monstrous anger but obviously you are a simp and does not need our help man. Keep simping brov.
In 2016 she told me her salary was #50.000 And then two years later, when she got promoted, I asked about her salary and she said, “Oh these people, don’t mind them. They added only #5000 to my old salary. Because of her meager salary, I’ve taken up so many responsibilities in the house without complaint. I pay for utilities and pay for food. I pay the fees of our two kids, clothe them, and take care of their medical bills. When my wife sends me a grocery list, she adds sanitary pads. She buys dresses and clothes, comes to show them to me, and asks me to pay for them. She started talking about a car when our second child came in. Things weren’t good on my side so I asked her to give me some time. She said, “I’ve saved something. I can add it to what you have so you pay me when your money comes.”
I agreed and took that money from her, topped it up to get her a car. For three months my ears never rest. She would wake up at dawn and ask me to pay what I owed her. I got tired and paid the money when I didn’t have much in my account.
One evening, I turned my laptop on and saw a lot of emails. I checked and it was my wife’s email that had been opened. I asked her, “Did you use my laptop?” She answered, “Yeah I was checking something.” I told her, “Then you didn’t log out.” She answered, “I forgot. Please log out for me.” I was about to log out when something caught my attention. I saw a mail with the subject, “January Payslip.” I opened and started going through. When I saw her gross salary, I was shocked. #400,734? And this girl has been crying poverty?
I went through the details. That night I couldn’t sleep. I was angry. I felt let down. I felt cheated. I felt played. We’ve been married for six good years and my wife earned that much without my knowledge? How much she earned didn’t bother me a lot than what she was using that money for. I decided not to talk immediately but rather do a little bit of investigation.
All my life I’ve held the view that it wasn’t right for anyone to go through their partner’s phone. It’s an invasion of privacy and it breeds mistrust in the relationship but that night, going through her phone was the only way to find out what I was looking for. I started with her best friend. Nothing much was found. Her family had a Whatsapp group. I read the messages there. I got few hints. I went through the chat with her father and that was when I realized my wife had bought a piece of land and had started building. Her father was in charge of the project. He had sent photos of the various stages of the building. At some point, her father said, “Thank you for helping out your brother. He would have been home had it not been you.”
She has only one brother—her senior brother. I went to look for the chat between them. Her senior brother lost his job and was home doing nothing so my wife bought her Hyundai i10 to use for Uber. Every week, her brother rendered an account and they split the money. From all indications, my wife was doing well for herself while she plays poor so she could rely on my salary. Why would she do that? I thought I was being a supportive husband so my wife could be proud of the man she married. When we bought land, it was her name and my name that appeared on the land title. That car I bought for her with a loan from her bears her name. I didn’t mind. I believed what’s hers was also mine.
The next morning she realized I wasn’t looking well. I was boiling on the inside but looking for a good opportunity to start the conversation. When I calmed down a little, I asked her, “So why would you do that to me?” She asked, “What have I done?” I answered, “You bought land, you never told me. You started building on it, you never told me. When are you going to tell me?” She was shocked. She asked, “Who told you all that?” I said, “Your father did.” She stood quiet for a while. She asked, “Why would my father tell you all that? What were you people talking about” I said, “I don’t know. You can ask him.”
We left it there. Some minutes later she came to me with her phone: “My father wants to talk to you.” The phone was already on a loudspeaker. His father was clearly angry. He asked, almost shouting, “You said I told you my daughter has a building? Where did I say that and when?” I asked, “Is it not true that my wife has a building project going on that you’re supervising?” He asked me, “I told you that?” I asked, “Is it true or not?” After the back and forth I told them, “I read your messages last night. I saw the pictures. I read the various budget you had sent to my wife. I read the confirmation of the money receipts that you sent her. You’re a man. Would you be happy if your wife does this to you?” He started fumbling. He started apologizing saying he thought I was aware.”
My wife stood there motionless, didn’t know what to say. When her father hung up, I told her everything I knew, from her salary to the car she bought for her brother. I said, “Yet, even your sanitary pad, I buy them. You think I’m a fool? You’ll use your money to acquire your own properties and live on mine because you’re my wife? I hear. We’ll see.”
Trust was lost. Love was broken. We had to find a new way of living our lives going forward. Her father called me every morning and evening apologizing for everything and sometimes taking up the blame so I didn’t have to blame his daughter. I told him, “The emotional state I’m in right now, it would be hard to think straight or think forgiveness. Just give me space.” Three days later, they were in our house. The father, the mother, and the senior brother. They came to apologize. “Don’t let this break up the beautiful marriage you both have. If nothing at all, consider the kids and be lenient in your judgment.”
I listened to them. My position was still the same. “I need time to clear my mind. Just leave me alone to think.” From last month to this moment that I’m writing this, my wife had changed totally. She doesn’t ask for money but the house is being run smoothly. She has started paying for things she never paid for but that doesn’t move me. She has taught me a very great lesson and I’m taking it seriously. That in everything, I have to look out for myself and my family first. Last she told me, “If you want us to change the names on those properties, we can do so.” Guess whose name is on the property…her father’s name.”
I told her, “You don’t need to change anything. They are yours. You suffered for them so you can decide what you want to do with them.” The land I bought has our names. I’m selling it and take my money back. The car she’s driving has her name. I put a for-sale sticker on it some weeks ago. She agreed she’ll pay for the car. I’ve given her two months to pay up or I sell it and take my money. She’s getting the message and I’m glad. Each one for himself, God for us all. She keeps asking if I’m going to leave her. I keep telling her I won’t but if she wants a divorce, I will gladly give her. I’m not going to leave the marriage. I would give us some time to heal and see what may happen but when it comes to money, I’ve taken the lesson she taught me through her actions.
*What's your take?*
Great writer; however, heartbreaking story. If possible, stay away from your present apartment.
Rhodaogunpeju: Why are our Nigerian Men so insensitive.
I'm naturally a chubby lady with curves and I remember vividy how my husband used to praise my physique and say I'm his spec. According to him skinny girls are not his type.
We got married and I have given birth to two kids and I added weight a little, plus we were living comfortably so the good life was evident in my life and body.
The church we normally attend, the pastor's wife has 5 kids already and she's much older than me but she still looks moderate enough with little or zero stomach fat.
My husband seeing this woman has constantly been telling me to try and work on myself, this man literally wants me to be skinny, when we married I wasn't skinny, the blow was when he compared me to my Pastor's wife, saying I have just 2 kids and I added weight while our Pastor's wife has 5 and she's looking like she never gave birth.. I cried and I have been crying since..
It hurts so much .. It makes me wonder if this man still loves me?
Evidence of good living, yet you fail to workout ️♂️. Please I have body vibrator for sale that can shed your fats in a flicker

woleabayo: ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TO SIT YOUR WIFE DOWN AND EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO HER AND BEG HER TO FORGIVE YOU
Nonsense advice. Forgive him on what ground? I presumed he has been in a relationship with the ex before meeting his wife. So did he cheated on her or what? U for talk say make she follow his wife reason the matter and find a way forward. Which one is forgive? That word is strong oo
Ekealterego: Brother stop watching too much "my family dey pursue me preaching". Those creatures existed where you were living longer than any human being built a structure on it. My brother, forget all manner of crappie comments on this thread. I know that the devil exist and the evil men and women prowl to have your head but you have defeated in grand style. I live at the third floor of a three storey building. Just few hours to 1st January, I killed a pregnant scorpion in my bedroom. This happened as early as 4am when the enemy thought I was asleep but God wake me to take charge. People who are not strong in the spirit will never understand that the devil has powers.
Trayceey: I Need Your Opinion On This Issue That's Threatening My Relationship
My fiance wanted to come to the house to see my mum but I told him I won't be around because I'm about heading out to somewhere, so he asked me if my mum would be around, then I said yes and he said he would still go to see her and it doesn't matter if I'm not around.
When I later got home that night, my mum complained that he came empty handed. He didn't bring anything for her and she was the one who offered him her drink.
Although initially, I didn't see anything wrong with that but when my mum expressed her displeasure, I later called him to ask why he came to the house empty handed then I let him know I wasn't happy with him, that it would have been better if he didn't come. He tried arguing with me but I hung up.
Since then, we haven't spoken to each other nor visited each other. Was I wrong?
I wish your fiance reads the supposed hand writing on the wall.
Poloyanabo2: While I support the petition for this man to be sacked for unethical conduct, I'll refrain from blaming him for the paternity fraud that took place that led to tunde Thomas's death,
The hoely woman if she was wise should have used contraceptives like Postinor2 after each meeting to avoid bringing an unknown pregnancy to her husband, but she didn't.... Or was she forced to also give birth to the MDs offsprings?
What manner of gross irresponsibility on her part. 600yrs for her anywhere she runs to.

peacekante: These are the video report of both reputable international TV stations on the lekki shooting incident. The incident has generated quite a lot of controversies around the world. While the Nigerian Government has vehemently denied shooting at the lekki protesters. The Army on the other hand earlier denied going to lekki to shoot, but later admitted that it was at the lekki tool gate but didn't shoot live bullet. They also claimed they shot at the air not at protesters. But the protesters are insisting that they were shot at and many were killed. The major protester at the ground DJ switch told CNN that the soldiers shot at them and killed lots of people.
Both CNN and BBC have given their own report on what happened at the lekki toll gate. While BBC reporter Damilola Banjo who was at the protest ground reported that the Army was shooting on air, but only saw one man grasping for air which she was not because of gun bullet, the CNN video said the Army actually shot at the protesters with live bullet. Though the CNN was not present at the protest ground.
So Nairalanders, watch the video report from both CNN and BBC. who is actually giving the real account of what happened at Lekki toll gate on the 20 of October 2020
creolehunt: About 2 years ago, my brother started working for this company as an intern. The agreement with his manager was that he will be confirmed within 6 months. After about 18months without confirmation, he resigned from the job but still kept contact with people from his former job.
Fast forward to some weeks ago, he heard that his former company needed personnel at a new branch in a new state and it's strictly an internal recruitment. So he met his former manager and expressed interest, the manager pushed his name (eligibility is dependent solely on recommendation by your branch manager) and he alongside others went through series of interviews at the end of which he was employed. Suffice to say that the HR manager was part of these interviews.
He was sent an offer letter plus other documents and he resumed last week monday. Last week Tuesday, he was called by the HRM who asked him series of questions after which the HRM said he didn't know all this while that my brother isn't an active staff and that he (the HRM) was hoodwinked by the branch manager. His argument was tgat there were other eligible candidates who could have been recommended, but the manager brought someone from outside.
Now, the offer letter to my brother has been withdrawn. Same guy that resigned his job the moment he received this offer, he has even told everyone that mattered tgat he was relocating. Please is there anything we can do to salvage this, it's so heartbreaking. I don't know where they expect him to start from when he gets home.
Quite painful to read. I don’t think there is a convention on what to do to salvage his job; especially when the company is private and tilted towards excessive profit making.

I hate the fact that we suffer like there is no hope. With a simple click on the map, you are good to go. Type your destination using the direction button on the google map. you can download it from play store or AppStore. For some device, google map does come with it.
Here is an example of the nysc orientation camp from my location. Just click on the start button, the GPS will take will you there. The good news is that if you route your map with internet, it is no longer necessary to use internet to your destination. The GPS satellites automatically picks your location and the destination. This is the way to go now. Don’t bother asking where to. Figure your way with your handy map.

Kosiso12: Hoodlums Burn Two Police Stations In Ebonyi As Umahi Imposes 24-hour Curfew
By Wisdom Nwedene, Abakaliki
Suspected Hoodlums on Wednesday afternoon burnt two Police Stations in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital.
IGBERE TV correspondent monitoring the development in Abakaliki reports that the angry thugs invaded Kpiripiri Police Station and Ekeaba Police Station and released those inside the cell before setting them ablaze.
The irate youth continued the operation by blocking major streets in Abakaliki - Sperandio Junction, Presco Junction and Udensi Roadabouts.
IGBERE TV correspondent reports that some policemen sustained injuries during the attack.
UMAHI Imposes 24-hour Curfew In Ebonyi
Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State, on Wednesday, imposed 24-hour curfew in the state to curb criminal activities and equally reduce attack on government property.
In a Statewide broadcast monitored by IGBERE TV correspondent, Umahi said the hoodlums and cultists have burnt many police stations, moving to prison to set prisoners free and are equally attacking security agencies including shooting at them.
According to him, "These hoodlums and cultists are not Ebonyians but they came from outside because they do not wish us well."
"Security agencies in our state have sustained injuries from the attacks of these hoodlums and the provocation. These Security agencies have exercised great patients and wisdom in handling the issue at stake and I urge them to continue doing just that."
"Government vehicles and infrastructure of government have come under severe destruction and this is regrettable."
"I will continue to say that the peaceful protesters have their legitimate demands and I offer my apologies for many areas we leaders have failed our young children. We believe that the success of the peaceful #endSARS protest will make we leaders make amends where necessary."
" I appeal to our people not to allow outsiders to distroy the modest improvements of our state which may not have gone down well to some people outside our state who do not wish us well and who imported these hoodlums to our state."
" I therefore, call on security agencies to block all our borders from 7:00 pm today, the 21st October, 2020 and to protect all lives and property."
" Furthermore, I, the Governor of the state, by the powers conferred on me by the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria, I hereby impose a 24 hours curfew from 7:00 pm today, the 21st of October, 2020."
Good riddance. If they had stationed fire servicemen nearby, the fire would have been quenched in minutes. But they choose to loot and loot until nothing is left to loot. Good riddance again
