abeg this one no be miss Nigeria o, make una no decieve us, hw e wan manage |
To be true to it, i think the late Fella, Majek, Femi kuti, Sunny ade, and lately Asa are by far the most recognised Nigerian international artists, Tuface may be the fans favourite based on contemporary terms, but the most recognised and most well respected are those mentioned above. |
Unfortunately the quality of these nollywood films will remain low for a very long time that we cannot even foresee, the average common man that is crazy about the films do not know nor care about quality, they are more in villages and the deep nooks n cranies, they don't watch hollywood movies to give them a basis for comparism on what they watch locally, even wen they have all opportunities of watching these forign films they never go for them, co's they don't enjoy them, they just want to see stories they can relate wth real life situations, they don't even know about diversification of movies, they lack ability to criticise anj judge quality, and the core of them are largely in the majority who buy these movies, hence the producers will never change, because of these low quality individuals they keep on smilling to the bank, not seeing anything wrong wth their movies, hence there will not be any improvement, but a lot of more bragging and self proclamations of mediocar achievements for a very long time to come is what we will witness. Believe ye me, nothing at all is going to change in the direction of quality, very unfortunate. |
The more the states they create the more they disunite us, i don't know why these politicians will never stop asking for trouble, and come to think of a Lagoon state for Lagos i think it doesn't make any sence at all, the PDP ha s seen they cannot take Lagos from AC hence they want to create something new out of it, and take a piece of it, strategic thinking indeed. Loosers they always would be. |
memsybay:To all this i fully say yes , and thats why we neen now to get a leader that is strong and with a great vision, that can really move the country forward. |
michaelala:The federal government doesn't have to take a cue from that, it is the states government that should take the initiative like kwara have done, this is where visionary leadership comes in, the sates have the resources, if they have the vision and are not lazy, then they should spread it all out. Doing so they will have created another very good revenue base for their states and for the country, and the growth we've long been wanting to see will begin to manifest. |
You confused souls keep going round and round. Well, i'm all too happy to oblige you. So, are you saying daddy G.O needed the EFCC to tell him his own close friend, pastor and spiritual buddy is an embezzler?? And the funds he recieves from him where stolen?? Did Elisha wait for the EFCC to tell him gehazi had gone and recieved an illegal gift? No! God revealed it to elisha IMMEDIATELY it happened! God does not and Will not hide sin. Erastus has been embezzling for years, why didnt G.O know ?Does G.O not have the Holy spirit? Does G.O not communicate with God Again, I challenge you to show me in the bible where God hid the sin of a prophet, prophets servant, protege or king.Where is the biblical basis for your ''belief''' ??
As much i do not support stealing ,and not in anyway a man like Erastus Akingbola in this whole imbroglio, i still want to say that your submisions on the man of God pastor Adeboye are far too derogatory, u're been too fanatical, and u're not making sence at all. |
wales:This is very appalling. |
solo1ng1:Thanks my guy, i'll go check it out. |
Can somebody please tell me how to locate a company that manufactures cans for beverages in lagos. I need to get to them urgently, i mean canned drinks like canned coke, and other beverages alike, the company that manufactures the cans for them. |
Bialegend:It is this kind of reasoning that has kept us where we are, and has made us not move an inch forward, since our existence as a nation. Very absord. |

I see the pic sort of like '' i'll get there even if i have to swim the river'' it shows a champion spirit, and the enormous courage we possess as nigerians, inspite of all the odds, we will survive. Tnx BBC for telling the world hw resolute we could be as a people. |
ice234:I think the better thing for u is to go be a fencing fan, co's i suppose u don't knw the meaning of boring football |
Technically they were the best, tactically they were the most disciplined, they proved the strongest in every department of the game, their style was exciting, they didn't score much goals though, but they got results when it really mattered most, and in fare play, they scored the highest point in the tournament from Fifa, they've got exeptional talents in their team, what more can u ask for. Beyound all doubt they desrve their win. |
Are we sure there is not a boko haram angle to this, me think this is a clever attempt to find reason to a pre-planned mass religious riot and massacre of southerners in the north in the name of retaliation for a dastardly act of murder of a northern leader commited in the south, lets take a thought to the characters involved in this incident, they are all of hausa \ fulani decent whatever, and are all muslims, check out the hit location, south, target personality, northern muslim and a leader of repute, check out the plot and u'll find the underlying motive to this act,all these put together will give them a very ''good'' reason to strike there's more to this than meet the eye.All christians and southerners living in the north should really watch out. |
i'm really not suprised about his going back to his vomit, our politics in Nigeria is chop chop politics, they'll always want to flock arround where the water flows the most, but what really bemuse me the most is the PDP's attitude not to let him in, i'm sure if he was still a serving governor they wont even blink an eye b4 they wellcome him wth wide open arms. |
It would be gross partiality infact very ''kaitastrophic'' if our man yakubu or our obasi is not given that honourable award. |
Ergonomics:u're head on the point my guy, please tell them again. |
NaijaNaWaa:This is indeed very laughable, i think u should join the comedy gang. It really does show how blind a man like u could be. |
Africanson:Well considering the nigerian situation,he has achieved the extraordinary, and i'm sure a person like u given the same opportunity will shrink and fumble facing the same challenges he was able to overcome. |
Nadal is the better of the two players, he's not only the best on clay he has become the best all round player on court, he's the most improved at the moment, and bearing no injuries, will crush federer's grand slam records n two years. |
nigerians are arogant i agree but ghanaians are very very very very low self esteemed, hence they are looking for every avenue to gain attention. |
I think the best thing for the actors guild nigeria to do is not to also impose a fine on ghanain actors, for what they have just done back in their country only clearly shows, their level of inefficency and gross incapability to compete on a level playing ground, especially when the stakes are high, give the ghanaians a chance to compete on our soil but make it extremely dificult for anyone of them to breakthrough the scene, and even if they manages to come through, make their success only look like a fluke, to the extent they'll look down on themselves as nonentities. This is a power game and u wont win it by doing it their way, they're trying to break down our pocket, let retaliate by breaking down their psychology, knocking down their confidence, and making them look very ordinary even when they had given everything they've got in them, now we must draw them closer and when they're just about to hit it, we give them the snub. Look at another dimension to it, we control the film market in africa we already have a mafia ring we can use that to make impossible for their films to sell wll in the market, even in their own dear country our films sells better than theirs |
PLEASESSSSSS can somebody also tell of NAIRALAND the naija brand |
Wao! u mean we can reach our president on face book, things are really getting positive here, i think a change is coming indeed, i wish all our nass members and our governors, and ministers could do the same. RIDE ON MR. PRESIDENT |
Many thanks to u, the Law for that tutorial, its nice having u in the house, but can i just have ur email just in case i may have some other things i may want to know confidentially, i'll really be glad to have that, thanks once again, cheers. |
Haba folks we've been shown just one location of a city as large as benin, question is, are there more beautiful places like this springing up in that ancient city, or is the poser just trying to help oshomo score a political point by showing us pictures of development not well duplicated in other parts. The people need more empowerment in the area of job provision too. |
How did the Almajiris manage to read the incription "Jonathan for president 2011" Hmm, Maybe Boko is not Haram any longer. Maybe they didnt wright on it, maybe they made the mistake of pasting jonathan's picture shaking hands wth their dear mohammed, and they saw it and got angry lol |
