It was a low yield nuclear bomb, they were originally designed to be used on a battlefield in military situations mostly with friendly forces in proximity, so I don’t think the radiation will be very harmful.
I see. That explains it. So how do you account for the EMP not disabling the helicopter?

abduleez1:
Same thought.
Although, the airport was in another state, UTAH. After he drove off with the car. How the gee no die from radiation before reaching the car sef dey funny.

Even the helicopter surviving was bonkers given the fact that it's rusty and has been abandoned for years. Also doesn't look like the technological advanced ones that can survive EMP blasts.

Great action tho.
The loopholes bro is something else. Anyway I want to believe Zack Snyder knows what he's doing...

Army of The Dead ......6/10

Interesting concept but fell victim of zombie horror cliché. Was making sense from the start but veered off at the end.
How the Black dude (Valrohe) escape that vault still dey surprise me.
What's the point of this movie?
Great score tho, especially the end credits. Snyder almost always deliver with his music Score.
probably the vault is nuclear blast proof. Though I still wonder about the radiation poisoning not affecting him and those around the airport he chartered the private airplane, also I wonder why EMP didn't render the helicopter useless when the blast wave hit it.

There are lots of loopholes in the movie. All the same, it's a nice watch, I enjoyed the action and the little bit of humour.

Not bad OP. Truth is even if you do all this, some people will still insult you no matter what. I've come to know manners and courtesy are something many Nigerians don't have.

This is the problem with Nigerian education. Philosophy is not taught in secondary schools. People lack understanding of film tropes, literary devices and criticism.

Nowadays, movie audiences (western educated) are smarter and are aware of cliches and repetitions. One has to either create something new or subvert expectations.

For instance, the dark Knight brought out a new type of villain- the joker: a villain who couldn't be reasoned with, charismatic and crazy. A homicidal maniac who enjoyed toying comically with victims. Not only that, it was the only movie at that time that grounded superhero movies in a gritty reality- no superpowers. The dark Knight brought something new to superhero genre.

Then, we have the boys, who subverted the idea of good superheroes. The powerful superheroes are all corrupt. It showed that those with powers will abuse it and wouldn't be good like superman. It was bloody and gritty.

Then, we have subversion in Invincible. Invincible subverted the superhero genre by making it bloody and making a twist where a central character who was regarded as good to be a monstrous beast who saw humans as pets. Not only that, it showed the strugglea and reality of superheroes.

You see, nowadays, for modern audiences to really appreciate your movie, you need something fresh or subversive.

Now, Army of the dead refused to do anything new. They just gave the zombies extra intelligence, which is not really a new thing. See land of the dead.

What Army of the dead could have done is to pit 3 teams of military personnel against each other in a zombie infested Las Vegas to compete for the money while the intelligent zombies pick them off.

Also, Army of the dead could have made the movie more tactical. There should have been different ways of killing the zombies. The smart zombies could have a weakness because of their higher intelligence. Maybe they could only hunt at night which would make the stakes higher and force the team to hold out till morning- seige style.

Like you want to watch someone fvck your own daughter huh Like seriously if she can watch someone fvck her daughter, it means she can fvck her daughter's husband and not feel any remorse.

My cousin joined her husband since 2012 and they've been waxing strong with each passing year. When you leave the good girls and go for slay queens and retired runs girls, na like this your story go be. Besides it's only in uncivilized jungles like Nigeria that an oppressed wife is expected to remain submissive. Even the police that's to protect her will be preaching submissive. In saner climes you're all hoping and praying to run to, if you do anyhow you'll see anyhow
it goes both ways.

The name of their mercenary group is Las Vengeance and that guy is in all probability military trained.

You don't become a sharpshooter of that quality by doing target practice on the street and did you notice how his female companion, Chambers was handling business with the zombies before she was sabotaged..... That is military grade shiit.
That's your answer.

It is very convenient that they all had their gear ready to deploy at a moment's notice but never mind because according to your theory, it is every Joe and Tom that has ready made military grade gear because you never can tell when a regular citizen will be summoned to face an army of the dead, innit?
Well I'm surprise you didn't notice the dude with the dyed hair, when Ward showed the vid of him using a single shot to kill two or more zombies. Also, I'm very sure you don't know guys are legal in America and people go to target practice.

Army of the dead

3/5

Mission was compromised and doomed from the onset.

Scott is an incompetent leader, I can never follow such a character into battle. If this is a standard military outfit, he will definitely be facing court martial.

There are some combats rules which must be adhered to religiously.

You don't let personal feelings and emotions get in the way of the mission and the most important rule of combat is that the soldier standing next to you must have the same objectives as you do, no margin for stray missions.
Erm Oga Alexistaiwo. They aren't soldiers, that's one of the reasons the mission went south.
