Nigeria - Niger War!

How many months will it last?

grin
This is not funny... This could last for years.. It ain't only Niger that's fighting. Niger is already with a coalition of 3 more countries plus foreign allies. While Nigeria could also be in coalition with other west african countries (if they are interested) plus foreign allies as well.

This is actually ecowas fighting ecowas... If they start kasala now, Famine is looming to join the already costly food stuffs and usable items.

I drive C-Class Benz and I can attest; it’s a strong machine and I hardly buy parts. However, it is known for more electrical faults than mechanical. I patronize car electricians (rewire) more and occasionally check mecho.

On the same vein, I've heard of some car brands like Toyota/Honda having less electrical but more mechanical faults of major components such as engine or gear. So, which do you think is worse and more financial drain per your experience?
cheesy Na you dey make German machine sentiment freak you. Most na lies as it is known they are not as reliable as their Japanese comrade.

Rossikk:

You're talking rubbish.

If Nigeria is as disunited as you say and we all hate each other, how come 11 million Igbos are living peacefully in the north?

10 million in the west?

Why are we not all fighting and slaughtering each other on the multi-ethnic streets of Abuja and Lagos?

By the way, you shortsighted man, if we ''divide the country'' who takes Abuja, the nation's capital?

A city that has seen billions of dollars in infrastructural development over the last 35 years?

Have you been to and been around Abuja?

Do you know it is among the best cities in Africa?

So who takes Abuja?

And of course those who are from other ethnic groups will have to leave and return to their 'new country' where it would take them another 30 years to build their own 'Abuja', having become suddenly FOREIGNERS in their former capital city, and liable to be harassed for their papers or even visa by police!

Lagos suddenly will turn a 'foreign' land for millions of residents there, not originally from the 'new country' Lagos is now part of.

If the experience of Nigerian traders in Ghana is anything to go by, being FOREIGN in West Africa is a really big deal. The hosts will let you KNOW you are foreign. It will not be business as usual.

So much for all those new-turned 'foreigners' with houses and businesses in Lagos.

I mean, the idea of breaking up Nigeria sounds debatable on paper until you actually sit down and THINK about it.

Then you realise just how stupid and impossible an idea it is.
Okay ọ̀gá wisdom! Go ahead and diversify the economy and create a Canada out of Nigeria with the present constitution and system. Goodluck!

It's very funny. I am not a Tinubu fan but those glamouring for military rule are senseless and foolish. Nigeria is going the way of Venezuela and all the youths know about it's country is to demand for military rule?? Do you people even read or you follow the trend on social media Read history. All Nigeria needs right now is to revitalize oil sector and diversify just like Norway and Saudi Arabia. Else we're doomed for ever. Whether civilian or military rule. In fact Africans needs to start producing and stop consuming! That's our basic problems not the West or China. They just took advantage of our weaknesses!
Talk is cheap... You talking about history and you neglected the one that formed this artificial contraption that is called Nigeria. You wanna diversify like Norway and Saudi Arabia. It's good but are the foundations of those countries the same with what we have here?

Are Norwegians so different within? Or the Arabians?

Look! No matter how small a piece of puzzle is, whether faraway or near, it must find a way to fit in to be whole. This small puzzle will most times disturb,, uproot and reassemble some others before fitting into its space.

If you think what the whites did by merging the old protectorates due to greed, displacing tribal and territorial boundaries, creating a pseudo Nigeria is a minor issue, then you still haven't understood the roots of the problem facing the country.

Ordinarily in our personal spaces, do you think it's easy to live with another person: roommates, friends, Co tenants face me face you, even wife everytime in peace?

You now think a peaceful coexistence will be in Nigeria, no way! The multi ethnic factor is just a monster that gave birth to so many other vices. As some are pushing it up (such as your diversification) others are dragging it down.... And like play, we remain stagnant for a long time.

If Nigeria citizens want peace especially in the south. Divide Nigeria and create new countries, period!

When there's peace and improved agreement, then you can talk about development. Two can't walk together without agreement, not to talk of more than 250 hard headed groups.

Problem solvers face reality!

Just reminded me a case of young man in his early 20s, left his hostel in Birmingham (UK). took a bus to Birmingham international airport with just his wallet, international passport and a flight ticket he printed in his room. His fellow students who saw him leave the hostel, thought he was going to get groceries.....11hrs later, he was knocking at his parents gate past midnight. His family was shocked, he requested a room should be prepared for him that he was feeling sleeping, he locked himself in that room for 4 days without coming out though en-suite but he didn't eat nor communicated with anyone.

The family being an influential one, had to be hush about it. It was the consultant psychiatrist where I worked, that was called in and got him to open the door and the guy looked like something else, it took so much experience to get him come over to our facility to be admitted. It was a very complicated diagnosis and he was established to be struggling with schizoaffective disorder and the 4 months he was in the facility was hair-raising. sad sad sad
Hmmmm... Wàhálà dey ó shocked

but my Camry 2003 (Big daddy) dey consume fuel now
Don't mind him... While 4 plugs have fuel economy, fuel consumption varies depending on engine size. Your 4 plugs big daddy uses 2.4L engine for firing. You can't compare it to Nissan Micra that uses 1.4L engine size for firing... The Micra will definitely use less fuel for power than yours. There are Picantos with 1.0 L and also 4 plugs.
There are also 4 plugs venza with 2.7L engine, it will slightly consume more fuel than yours.

Your big daddy will also slightly consume more fuel than pencil light camry of 2.2 L or Mazda 3 of 2.0 L

So it depends on your engine size despite 4 plugs.

Dont let us talk about SUV or other fuel guzzling sedans.

4plugs is bae
Lol... Human beings... Now 4 plug is Bae abi? After many of you people don castigate 4 plugs for this forum, saying "if you ever drive v6, nothing will make you go back to drive 4 plugs again." some even said they will never drive 4 plugs again for life.

They forget life and time could change in a twinkling and that's what dictates some of our actions. A deserted and hated item today could be the choice bride tomorrow and be the next best thing after sliced bread. cheesy

Language barrier is Nigeria biggest challenges
Open your eyes and head and fix your problems from the roots. The biggest challenge of Nigeria is that Nigeria still exists. The country must be disintegrated to create the original nations inside it, then you can talk about language.
Presently, which language do you want to use here except your colonial masters language? Or is it hausa, Igbo or Yoruba that should be adopted as the official language?
