Afghanistan is an Islamic nation ( made up of mostly Muslims obviously) Nigeria is not.


In Nigeria the Muslim/ Christian population is almost equally balanced.


There is no direct foreign interference in the day to day activities of Nigeria.

Our problems are different here in Nigeria.

US has started the process of evacuating their citizens from Afghanistan but there has been a halt to the process currently because afghans are desperately clinging to US aircraft to leave with the americans and additional 500 US forces are been deployed to the region.

Now let face it, if 5000 Lockheed C-5 galaxy where to be in say at least 10 Nigerian States, what are the odds that their won't be an ugly scene as seen in Afghanistan ??

Taliban is Afghanistan and Afghanistan is Taliban, that is the only reason they are still existing, they had the support of the people quite frankly let face it, if 85k strong Taliban fighter should be taken care of right now, by tomorrow you get another 85, so it pointless occupying the country and that is what uncle sam realised.

And yes Afghanistan has a difficult terrain you should study it and the fact is US air force cannot be conducting ops just anyhow there is something called the rules of engagement - they will not put the lifes of civilian at risk because they had their enemies in sight.
