I went to the University of Ghana. I say that for a reason. Stayed in Legon. The only women who looked like that were either mixed with Europeans or mixed with Lebanese people. She is not an accurate portrayal of Ghanaians.

And stop using the word self-hate so loosely. I love African women. The darker the berry the sweeter the juice. She does not look like a Ghanaian. It is like saying an Ethiopian looks like a Nigerian. You know the differences.

ofcourse she is nice than the average ghanaian girl. otherwise she wouldn't be miss ghana. that's a weak point. and those tribes you mentioned, are they the tribes in ghana. have you been to the north of ghana?  there is nothing mixed about that girl. she is pure ashanti goodness.

btw, if you want to see beautiful girls, you don't go to institutions of higher learning. pretty babes are spending their time in salons and beauty palors when their mates (those ones you met at university) are hitting the books. university babes don't sleep. and we all know what good sleep does to one's looks. so i don't think you should be basing your judgement on girls you met at ghana's no1 university.  try some of the liberal arts private univesities and you'll know what i'm talking about.lol

OP your problem is the caliber of girls you've been exposed to this far.

Make up in the hands of a sophisticated girl almost always makes an addition rather than subtraction. I love seeing my girls look change slightly from weekend to weekend depending on the combination of make up she has on. And when she takes it off, there is nothing but flawless skin underneath.
Most women also wear makeup to express their mood. So when i see my girl wearing bright red lipstick i know i could be in for a great night.lol.

Your problem is you're hanging around unsophisticated girls who don't understand the concept of make up. The type that say puts an extremely white powder on very dark skin and worst still, only stop at their chin making their face look like a checkers table. Plus the quality of the make up makes a world of difference.

I am sooooo impressed by that 18yr old defender Jonathan Mensah. I future Captain no doubt. And Ayew too. Kevin Prince is also star dust.

If only we can get our strikers firing on all cylinders, we would be dangerous because we create chances against even the best of them and our defense is solid solid solid.

The future looks bright even if we go out next round. These young generation are gonna do wonders i feel. They are getting very good experience here. I was suprised the coach chose to bench the senior players but maybe i see why.

I doubt those senior players would have worked their  a ss off like these kids did. Essien would have complemented this team very well.

One thing about this our U21 generation is for sure. THey are definately lucky.

I always knew the African countries would under perform, funny enough this seems to be the easiest world cup of all, strong footballing nations like England, Italy, Spain, France and Brazil are under performing who would have tot newbies Kiwi would disgrace the Italians or Americans and Algers would hold England to a spell draw and cause confusion in their camps. If an African country (Ghana or Ivory coast) do not win this world cup, we should be looking at the next 20yrs.

the "strong" footballing nations are not underperforming. They are being beaten and held by improved teams. that is what you're failing to realize. New Zealand didn't just get lucky. They matched Italy boot for boot. What are you people talking about.

I'm telling you for the african countries that get out of their groups, one of them will make the semis the way this world cup has gone so far.

compare where these african footballers are coming from and be amazed that we're even in among the vastly more fortunate to be in there with a shout. England rented out pretty much a whole small city as their camp. Ghana for instance is sleeping in a hotel. They couldn't even take out an entire floor. That's the difference in resources we're talking about.

Algeria is not out of it either. If they beat USA and england loose or even draw to Slovenia, Algeria are through. They have a great chance to progress.

This world cup is turning out to be great. It shows how football has improved overall. 1 game left few groups are clear. I don't think this is a failure for African football at all. The mere suggestion sounds ridiculous to me.

Muntari did fark nothing when he came on. Asamoah had the game in control until he left. I don't know what the coach was thinking.
