Now this is football. Easily the best game of the tournament so far. Fast game.

Ivory Coast play total football. sht they could actually win this world cup if this is how they are going to play and with Drogba.

Ivory Coast and Gold Coast(Ghana). Clearly one family separated by European ignorance.

Serbia is just a poor man's Germany. Come sunday we'll show them that playing football is quite different from digging mass graves. which they are experts at.

look at these bitter maafackers.

No chance for GHANA? we'll see!!

four years ago we had Italy (eventual winners) Czech Republic (then no.3 ranked team in the world) and USA (then no.4 ranked team in the world) and We came out easy.

Four years on you're doubting us to go past Serbia and Australia? Fark those two. WE are beating Germany to come out top of that group. Put your money on it.

Football is played on the day between 2 teams of 11. We are out to show the African athlete is a far superior specimen than any caucasian athlete can ever be. All we need to do is win 7 games and we are World Champions.

You guys should just focus on your own eaglets and not worry so much about the Mighty Black Stars of Ghana. We are on top of our game. TYVM.
TravelRe: Is Ghana A Good Place To Start Up Life? by shesi(m): 10:08pm On Apr 29, 2010
Shesi , you are the worst of the Ghanaian posters here. You lie shamelessly and I have exposed you several times in the past. You are rude and irreverent. Attacking folks you know nothing about is the hallmark of your writing style. You make wild claims that defy logic in your attempt to usurp what you do not possess all in the desperation to measure up to those you feel inadequate in comparison to .

These day , if you do not know , it is not the diasporan "who could not hack it in London" who are moving back to Africa. Unlike you who , by your own admission , has been away from Ghana for a long time (probably with nothing to show for vast years abroad) , the diasporans moving back are often those who are extremely successful in the diaspora and now wanting to consolidate on that success and , if they have kids, provide an enviroment where their children can grow up empowered with a winning mentality in their Africaness. Olodo like you would not understand this . Many have several homes/shares/stock/general inevstments they have remortgaged or cashed in to release the type of funds that would ensure they enter Africa with superlative business models. A fool like you would not know this because empty pontification on the net is what you do while you go to your menial job in the diaspora freezing yourself to death daily.

My own cousin is opening an IKEA-type concept in Nigeria soon. After fifteen years in the UK he was at the top of the tree as an IT project manager earning close to $6000 a week with several homes (personal and investment). He is now living in Nigeria with his family . That is an example of those moving back while haters like you remain abroad commenting on issues you know nothing about and foolishly and ignorantly thinking everyone wants to die worshipping "Obroni" like you . It is unlikely you can become a Dangote or Alhaji Banda wherever you are in the diaspora but many  Africans , already very successful in the diaspora, now realise that they can get to the Banda, Dangote level by moving back home with dual benefits of raising cultured kids.

Unlike your brother K4 , who bragged of doing great things in Nigeria, I am not interested in chest-thumping . If , with your low ambition , loser mentality and poor grasp of the relocating diaspora , you sleep better viewing me as a failed diasporan then be my guest.

The likes of you will always contend that Nigerians envy you and that is why we talk . Not so at all . I actually pity a lot of you. You are weak and easily dominated . you show no substantial ambition, panache or zest. Even in your own Country , and backed by your own Government,  you are third best at everything .

Let me give a perfect example of the dithering weakness and lack of ambition, innovation and business charisma that indicates how , logically,  it must be many Ghanaian men who envy their Nigerian couterpart - to the extent that in exposed climes like the UK Ghanaian women are marrying Nigerian men and ABG (meaning anyone but Ghanaian as explained to me by a Ghanaian girlfriend of my wife) more than any other African women are marrying men not from their region of origin.

Oxford Street at Osu is probably the number premier high street in Ghana . Ask my Ghanaian brothers how many Ghanaian companies are operating on this prime location in their own Country!!! We have Somovision, Frankies,Papaye, Koala, Binatone and many other Lebanese electronic shop and ventures. MTN (South African ) is present. Zain (Saudi Arabia) is there too along with Dynasty and about one or two other Chinese Restaurant. Chicken Republic and Glo (Nigerian) are included too. Now why would any Nigerian envy men who , on their own soil and accounting for local advantage, allow foreigners to totally dominate even the most mundane of businesses ? Nigerians now run many long distance luxury bus routes (eg Accra to Kumasi) and you contend they envy you ?

I could go on. You guys should face facts. No sane Nigerian man would envy a Ghanaian man. What Nigerians find admirable about Ghana is its constant electricity, stable democracy and relatively peaceful society. Those are things that can be sorted out in the same way Ghana sorted those things out. Can Ghanaians easily sort out a lack of natural flair, charisma, ambition and drive ? These are the qualities Nigerians , on an individual basis , have that Ghanaians (and other Africans) envy them for. With some Ghanaians this envy is manifested in rabid hatred of all things Nigerian.

I doubt any Nigerian man would look at a Ghanaian and think I want to be like him when , on a man-to-man basis , the Nigerian is more domineering, more driven, more innovative , more charismatic and simply more effective. My brother the envy , naturally , can simply and logically only be one way.
It's easy to sit behind a computer and make grand statements isn't it.

This little hissy fit write up you just did is the real reason i called you a spineless looser. Once again, you seem to be too easily riled up about issues that are not about you but you make your own nonetheless. This is not the profile of a strong-willed man. It's that of a wimp.

Nothing to do with your decision to relocate from wherever you were. Speaking of which, So you're moving to Africa to become the next Dangote or Banda are you? Listen sissy, real men make their own rules. carve out their own paths.
Wannabes think they can achieve greatness by copying another man's path. That's what sissy's do. And Dangote and Banda et al are no sissies.

What makes you so sure you are better off in life than i am? We have a proverb in Ghana that goes something like this: "if you haven't been to someone else's farm, you think you're the best farmer in town"

Let me tell you something. Nobody owes you anything in this world. If you want something you go and get it. Full stop. That you're well educated, or a decent citizen, or goodlooking, or married to whoever, or have a good heart, bla bla bla, entitles you to nothing anywhere in the world.

You seem to think you should be entitled something in Ghana or something. Like the country owes you something. We owe you nothing! A black man with that attitude is destined to fail anywhere you are. Unfortunate truth.

You talk about enlightened societies like the Uk. tell me, were you welcome with open arms by the british when you moved there?

Was i welcomed by the americans when i came here. Hell farking no. I fought for everything i have. Right from college, i took on the system, beat it, and reaped the benefits. I didn't go around moping that the system was against me. I went to do business in China recently. I faced enormous racist barriers. Did i sissy-out and b itch abt it. NO. I kept my cool, made my money, enjoyed their night life, and got out. That's how you do it. In life you identify the challenges you face in a situation, work out a way to deal with it and DEAL WITH IT. Bitching and crying foul won't get you anywhere. Good guys finish last my friend. Take that from me.

Develop some spine you wimp.

Here's the difference between you and I. I make no attempt to hide my disdain for you and your ilk. And I stand up steadfastly to defend my country. You on the otherhand, are so determined to come off as reasonable. Perhaps due to a pathological desire to be liked by everyone (i see this personality in most of your writings) You usually start off with what seems like a reasonable tone but quickly shift to disguised(poorly i might add) insults and sustle nastiness. Like i said, you're a wimp. Grow some cojones for farks sake. IF you want to insult me, be a man and insult me to my face.

Now let me address some of the more hilarious points your weak mind raised. So ghana girls prefer nigerian guys eh?
What about nigerian girls? Girls in the diaspora always prefer to date men who are not from their country. The feel less judgement. DO you know how many times i've been told by nigerian girls that they would never date a guy from nigeria? i've dated several nigerians girls in the past. On the other hand, since i left ghana, my only eperience of ghanaian girls has been when i have gone back to ghana. Never abroad. So if that is your argument then you have a lot to learn.
Besides, who's to say your wife is not just telling you that to ease your mind about her potential cheating on you with a man from her own country? you seem like paranoid person. maybe your wife feels the need to make up these claims to keep you happy? haha.

Let me also address this notion you have that i haven't been to my country in a long time. And that, therefore, you know Ghana better than me. Where do you get this opinion from? I visit Ghana at least twice a quarter. Spending as much as 2 weeks sometimes. Trust me, there is no part of Ghana you know better than me. That is what amuses me about your posts. That you think you know Ghana better than me. And to convince yourself, you usually sprinkle your posts with vague references to certain ghanaian personalities or places.

In conclusion, one man's opinion cannot override that of a million people. Ghana is world renowed for our hospitality. Our welcoming spirit. If your countrymen are not getting the same treatment, the problem is you, not us. In Ghana we say kukru kukru no gyae a, kekre kekre no nso begyae. I'm sure i don't need to explain that to you since you know the country so well.

How can some one harbour so much hate  for a particular group of people. Why cant you see that this is just an allegation. You had to go to the extent of posting picture of a kid bride you found on the net.I stay in Abuja and FYI the girl he married is a trained medical doctor.Since nobody BBC staff inclusive have met the bride in person you should try to add "alleged" when spraying this rumour further.
dont be ridiculous.

how can a 13 yr old be a trained medical doctor?

for me, if the story has appeared on BBC, it has merit. cus BBC in particular is very careful about publishing such stories. If it were CNN or Fox or something like that, you might have a case.

Lets not mince words when it comes to evil actions like this. They should be unequivocally condemned. This man is shameful. Islam as a religion needs to re-evaluate the appropriatness of some of their customs.

That Mohammed married a kid (mod, if you are scared, delete the whole comment. dont change my words) doesnt mean it should be done now. Ridiculous.

@Salamander

What makes you think i'm nigerian?

I wouldn't be caught dead living in Lagos. For what?

I'm full blooded Ghanaian and i'm trying to tell you you dont know jack about Accra or it's history. Who told you Makola was settled by Yoruba traders? where the hell did you get that from? Makola used to be the first stop for Buses ariving in Accra from Afram Plains. Makola is a Ga word. Your whole argument basis is wrong. Look, i don't need education on Accra from you. Like i said, very few people know Accra as well as i do.

The FACT is Ghana is on the up and up. We're moving up. Nigeria on the other hand it as best at Standstill. More realistically moving backwards. This is the painful truth farkups like londoner and Gbawe are so pained by. They are motivated by pure jealously and sheer disbelief that Ghana is now outdoing them in every possible way.
YOu have a spineless looser like Gbawe who couldn't hack it first in the UK, and now in GHana, and instead of coming to terms with the fact that he is just a failure by default, he chooses to attack Ghana, the noble country hosting an  invalid like him, at every single opportunity.

And then there's the quintesential EEDIOT Londoner. The least said about him the better. He claims to be a big shot.  Somehow everytime i read from him, i'm reminded of the phrase empty barrels make the most noise.

YOu can continue with your backside-kissing but real a true ghanaian man can never do that. Tell them the truth to their face. Their country is shiiiite.

After all is said and done, which people are tripping over themselves at the entry borders into Ghana? You got that right - NIgerians. They can continue to live in delusion but the facts on the ground speak for themselves.

I repeat my original question: Have you heard any Ghanaian young man/woman asking a question about Nigeria like the OP of this thread was asking?

THAT my friends, is all the proof we need.
TravelRe: Is Ghana A Good Place To Start Up Life? by shesi(m): 2:01pm On Apr 28, 2010
@shesi

Please dont draw me into your arguments. And there is no where in my previous submission that I said 90% of Ghanaians are Christians.

And on the history of Ghana, I believe if you have had a little patience, you will have known that the Ga people of Accra migrated from Ile Ife from Nigeria. There is a suburb in Osu called Osu Alata. The people of Gonjaland are from Northern Nigeria. The word 'Gonja' comes from a corrupted Hausa word 'Gwanja' - trading. My Hausa speaking brothers could attest to that. Go to Salaga in the North and you will see it all there.

The word 'Zongo' is actually Zango, a temporal place of abode and guest who are living there. I must say you have not taken notice or it did not occur to you that places like Tudu, Cowlane, Makola, Kasoa, Okaishie, Zongo lane, Accra Newtown (formally Lagos town) all Accra are of Nigerian origin. And it is the same thing all over the country.

There are prominent Nigerians who are deep into our politics and there are still a whole bunch of them who are holding key government positions. I can talk of the Bankoles, in the early 50' the Brimah's, in the 90's. Even our former Vice president Aliu Mahama had his root from Nigeria. For your information, our current National Chief Imam origin is from Zamfara. Come to our Mosques and guess what language is used for sermons. The list is endless. I'm telling you this on authority. I have done research on them and I'm still doing it.

As I keep saying, the issue is not about the country. It is about individuals who can make a difference. I live in a place where 90% of the people are originally from Nigeria. So it is easier for a newcomer to be roped in because of the language. Come to the streets in Accra or go to the Mosques on Fridays. All the beggars that the authorities in Lagos and elsewhere were sacking have all ended up here.

So please shesi let us be civil on the issue. As long as the world spins, we may find ourselves in different environments one time or another. And who knows, one day, the trend will change again and Ghanains will be trooping back to Nigeria!

FYI: There are people on this forum who personally know me because I hosted them in Accra . They will tell you my story
There is a section of Houston nicknamed "Lagos". Are Americans from Nigeria too? Is Alata a nigerian word?

Do you also mean to suggest that Hausa is a nigerian language? you must not be well educated/travelled are you? Hausa is spoken widely across West Africa. From Senegal to Chad to Mali to Mauritania etc etc etc.

Stop masquerading as a Ghanaian. You are no Ghanaian. Zongo is now a nigerian word? are you farrking kidding me? Since when was Accra Newton called Lagostown? i grew up in Accra (before there was a suburd called Newtown,so tell me)
How is Tudu, Makola, et al of nigerian origin? are you high? btw, mentioning those names does not convince me one bit that you are ghanaian. quite the opposite actually. Especially since you mention Tudu. Tudu of all place? do you know the history of that place Tudu?

You seem to be saying that all the northern ghana people are from nigeria. You couldn't be more wrong. Most of the inhabitants of modern day Northern Ghana came down from Timbuktu. Present day Mali. The only Ghanaian tribe originated from present day Benin/Nigeria region are the Gas. And they originally came from the Horn of Africa region. Stopping at several points before finally settling where they are now.

Don't get it twisted. There will never be any trooping of ghanaians into nigeria. For what?

you are a kid. you don't know what you're talking about. sit back and let grown ups educate you.
TravelRe: Is Ghana A Good Place To Start Up Life? by shesi(m): 12:26am On Apr 28, 2010
I believe the debate is getting unpleasant at the moment. The poster just ask a simple question and need an advice on that. But is seemed people are pouring their anger and hatred at each other over this simple issue.

It is a very simple. Historically, half of Ghanaian population are from Nigeria. Before the influx of the latter-day Nigerians, there were millions of older Nigerians who are living in Ghana and consider that as their homes. When the trend changed, millions of Ghanaians trooped to Nigeria in such of greener pastures. And about 20 years down the line, the trend is changing again. Nigerians are now trooping to Ghana.

Have you ask yourselves that why is not Nigeria and Benin, Togo, Sierra Leone, Liberia or any other country in Africa but always Nigeria and Ghana?

We have a saying in Ghana that, "In every home there is Mensah there" (Mensah is a name of a person). What it simply means is that there are bad nuts everywhere. But it seemed Nigeria is perceived to be producing most bad nuts in the whole world. Just bear in mind that the conception of 'there is no good Nigerian' is not only in Ghana. But everywhere in the world. The Western media are not helping things since most of the time they set the agenda. Check the recent documentary on Lagos!

Ask every one who knows the history of Ghana. The most respected and trusted people during the 17th up to later part of the 20th century were Nigerians. And I'm proud to say that my great grandfather was among these people. Most of the second hand cloth business were run by Nigerians. The aluminium smelting plant, etc. And these people were working hard and legitimately in a very peace and quite environment.

But it seemed the present generation began to change the cause. They don't want to work hard but needed a lot of cash which leads to so many fraudulent ways of making money. It was so much so that, the Western world have set up special unit to deal with such crimes. And as I said earlier, the Western media give the tune, and the rest of the world back them with the chorus.

Change must come, but within us! There should be an conscious effort to RE-BRAND Nigeria. And this will come from you! I always praise the Nigeria Ambassador in Ghana for that effort of re-branding Nigeria. I wish it will become a national policy.

Ghana has her own problems, but compare to Nigeria, ours problem is nothing! And you know why? Nigeria is big in all aspect of 'biggness' and he is the Big Brother!

So come on Nija, take up your mantle and re-claim your place in the world!
Absolute crap.

where did you get that nonsense version of history from.

And as usual i see Gbawe representing here (like on all of the other numerous ghana hating treads) trying to disguise himself as a reasonable person. Chale, give it up. The ruse is over. you've been made out.

did i read you correctly when you said 90% of ghanaians are christians? Since when? why are you so bleeping obsessed with Ghana.

Bitter as it may be, the truth is quite simple: In today's world, you will not find ANY ghanaian youth asking a question about nigeria like the OP is asking.

that is TELLING!

You guys are good at blaming everyone else for your bad reputations. Tell me any other country that is not suspicious of nigerians? i'm waiting. Try renting a room in europe and only present your nigerian passport and see what happens.

OMG, gbawe!!!, what a miserable farker.

Do you have any semblance of a life at all? wtf? you're still on this?

now what're you talking about? nigerian music in ghana?

is there something wrong with your head? there is music from several african countries in ghana. so what? what about ivorian music. as far as i know, ivorian is the most visible foreign music in ghana. other than american music that is. so fvuk what?

Abrantie, don't waste your time on Gbawe. Trust me, the kid is a looser. He must have suffered something terrible in Ghana or something cus his hate of Ghana is unimaginable.
and he has the nerve to accuse others of hate.
They were even saying we copied "their" pidgin english in Ghana. Bunch of fools. Google the history of pidgin english.

and Gbawe, don't confuse me pressing the iggy button on you for anything other than that.
That document you hastily pulled from the internet is from 2004. In 2004, there was almost zero nigerian presence in Ghana's banking industry.

The influx of nigerian banks into Ghana started i believe in 2006. This regulation i'm talking about is from 2007.

You are annoying in the way you think you know Ghana better than me. Is quite hilarious and annoying at the same time. How long have you lived in Ghana in total? madamfo, don't argue stupidly.

I don't have time to educate you. Doesn't mean i think you are right at all. Don't get it twisted.

Consider this my last contribution to the sordid affair you've turned this thread into.

It's quite depressing. To think a young man like you has nothing better to do with his time than this. Just look at those youtube links you pulled up. And for what?

sad sad sad.
SportsRe: Nations Cup Final: Ghana Vs. Egypt [0 - 1] by shesi(m): 1:19am On Feb 03, 2010
You do a good job of sounding smart. But as the old saying goes, Empty barrels make the most noise. Why are you arguing with me about regulations that DO exist in my country? Forget the whys and hows. These are the regulations that are in place and the foreign banks that choose to operate live with it. I'm not here to rationalise their actions. what do i care.
SportsRe: Nations Cup Final: Ghana Vs. Egypt [0 - 1] by shesi(m): 12:29am On Feb 03, 2010
Don't be surprised to find that shesi knows this but prefers to lie in his attempt to decieve. He and Abrantie are factually decietful individuals who are ready to utter inane and logic-defying statement , plus outright lies, to support their warped reasoning . Even a child of two will wonder why a Nigerian bank will leave the shores of Nigeria to set up business in Ghana only for Ghanaians to own 60% of that banks asset and operation that they did not work for !!!! Ridiculous!!!  Just 'wishing'  60% ownership (  ) of Nigerian banks on Ghanaians , merely because Nigerian banks desire a presence in Ghana , is something I did not think any Ghanaian capable of coming up with. Yet, the desperation of "bad belle" shows that it does not lend itslef to logic.
Dude, do you know anything about International Business? your arguments are sometimes appalling in their level of insight, or lack thereof i should say.

Seriously, did you just ask why any nigerian company would leave their shores to do business in Ghana when they cannot retain a majority share? Is that really a serious question?

Take a course in Global political economics why dont you. Come back to me when you're done. No country jokes with their banking industry. Check your own country's banking industry regulations buddy.

tell me this, why do you think the brouhaha that engulfed the nigerian banking industry recently did not extend to their "branches" in Ghana?
SportsRe: Nations Cup Final: Ghana Vs. Egypt [0 - 1] by shesi(m): 12:21am On Feb 03, 2010
londoner, don't argue over stuff you know completely nothing about. It makes you look silly. and YES, Barclays Bank Ghana PLC is majority owned by Ghanaians. 52% i believe. And that's because Barclays bank predates that regulation i'm talking about.

I can't name a ghanaian equivalent of Glo not because there is none but because i just don't know enough. I can't even tell you how many telecoms companies are there now. I left Ghana 15 years ago. and anytime i return i hear new names for telecom companies. I'm not even sure who bought who anymore. There was Kasapa, Spacefon, Areeba, many more names i can't even remember now. Vodafone recently acquired a majority share in Ghana Telecom. With the government of Ghana retaining a minorty share. But even the minority share of the Government of Ghana in the new Vodafone i'm sure represents more than Glo's market share. Don't forget Glo operates on GT (now Vodafones) infrastracture. Glo has no infrasture of their own in Ghana.Same goes for MTN and all the other cell phone operators in Ghana. The point is, there is more Ghanaian presence in our telecom industry than there is nigerian, or any other foreigners for that matter. Even if you don't see it on face value.  Sometimes the way you people argue, it's like you think you know my own country better than me. Laughable really.

So you see, when you guys make statements like that, we keep quiet not because you are right, but because it i don't have the energy, nor do i see the importance to prove you wrong.

And i don't have time to pull figures on Nigeria's FDI in Ghana.  What is the relevance of that? Can you tell me what Ghana's FDI into Nigeria is?
SportsRe: Nations Cup Final: Ghana Vs. Egypt [0 - 1] by shesi(m): 11:04pm On Feb 02, 2010
Gbawe is definitely full of himself. Now he resorts to dressmaker catalogs as proof of Nigerian business acumen. I really don't know his scientific methodology (i.e how many shops he visited), but I have several women in my family who are seamstresses and NONE of them carry catalogs with Nigerian dress models. Ivory Coast? yes, because we are immediate neighbors and local clothing fashion diffuses readily. Eastern Ivory Coast is pretty much Ghana.
Chale trust me. These are the kind of stupid examples they use to back up what they think in their mind are strong points.
It's too tiring to attempt to correct them. And they interpret your silence to mean you accept what they are saying. And the cycle goes on.

That Gbawe likes to give off the impression that he is knowledgable about the workings of Ghana and that he is some sort of impartial observer. Laughable! he knows next to nothing. Either that or he's blinded by pure hate. I tend to skew towards the latter explanation.

I once told them that for a bank to operate in Ghana, by Ghana law, it has to be 60% Ghana owned. So all those nigerian banks they love to use in their own examples are just nigerian in name. They are infact owned by Ghanaians by majority. I remember backing it up with a section of the said regulation. They conveniently ignored that and went on to talk about Glo. A company i had not heard of before at that time. And then they say things like "isn't Glo sponsoring your local league"
Like the league would collapse without Glo sponsorship. Do these guys know what business sponsorship of sports mean? It's like they don't know how stuff works.

I don't do jealousy mate . Even if I did , I would not be jealous of someone who does not have what I want. You forget that , after all is said and done , we all still have to bear our father's name as individuals !!! Only losers and fools will harp on about the achievements of their government alone while they , as individuals , still remain woefully far less talented than others as demonstrated vividly by how Nigerians are coming to your country and greatly outshining you on your own turf . Address that fact before you tell more lies !!!!

Nigerians have left their own border to do progressive endeavours in your own country that you guys cannot contemplate yet you contend I am jealous of you? What sound intelligence and logic you are working with!!!! I would posit that any logical person would conclude that it is the other way round and that it is you and many other insecure Ghanaian men who are jealous of Nigerians at an individual level !! This is why you never stop atempting to discredit them !!!!

I asked all you Ghanaian members of Nairaland to name one Private sector activity Ghanaians do better than Nigerians yet no takers !!! Meanwhile I can name ten thing Nigerians do better than Ghanaians !!!! Still contend that Nigerians are jealous of you? Only a bad belle Nigerian will fail to praise Ghana for it improving democracy but most Nigerians , aside from investing in Ghana, are too happy with their natural endoment to be jealous of those who achieve far less than they do on a personal level.

Anyway , by your own admission , we know you have been away from Ghana for a while (typical of the stay-abroad-let-others-control-my-wealth attitude of some Ghanaians) and we also know that you 'fabricate' to decieve so one can hardly expect any objectivity from you. You dont realise how illogical some of your rants are . Does it make sense for Americans , who give the world a large part of its culture through the sheer dominance of their progressiveness, to be "jealous" of Norwegians because Norway has less crime, less corruption, better democracy and better infrastructure? Sure some Americans will move to Norway to enjoy less crime, less coruption, etc but that cannot indicate to a normal person , who is unbiased and thinking correctly ,that Americans are jealous of Norwegians!!!!
Look, i will not play this back and forth with you again. We've done it several times in the past on different threads. But you'll ignore the answers i give and make your same inane points as soon as you see another thread on which to unleash your ghana hate.

It usually goes like this, i will answer your question and name a few sectors. You will ignore that and name your own areas where you think nigerians dominate Ghanaians. And back it up with 2 or 3 examples i have never heard of. the kind only a nigerian would know. I will tell you i've never heard those names before. You'll call me ignorant. Forgetting that just as the only reason you know those examples is because they are nigerians. And that i could make the same claims and use ghanaian examples you have never heard of before. It's all a bit predictable and i don't have the time for it today. Maybe some other day i'll oblige and play along to make you happy.

We have a saying in Ghana, that "you think you're the only farmer in town until you've been to another person's farm"

Someone just mentioned the term "Delusions of Grandeur" I honestly believe this is the best characterization of Nigerians in general. Seriously, anybody who has had any close contact with most nigerians would draw the same conclusion. The only people who think so highly of nigerians are nigerians. The rest of us (the world) cannot understand what you are going on about.

and btw, you tell me that after all is said and done we each carry father's name abi? Is your surname "Nigerians"?? lol, you crack me up o.

For the record, the only thing the whole world agrees Nigeria is better than Ghana at is producing oil. Finito. Ask around.

hahahahaha

OMG, wtf?

What has this thread turned into? i was suprised to see this thread was still active until i opened it and saw Gbawe. lol. my suspicions were soon confirmed.

I don't even want to waste time addressing the points that have been raised because ALL of them have been raised before on other threads and i have comprehensively rebutted ALL of them in the past. Ask Gbawe, he has been on all of those threads. suprise suprise. Seriously dude, you are suffering from a complex.

Tell me Gbawe, what at all did they do to you while you were in Ghana? cus this chip on your shoulder is too bleeping large. Your hatred for all things Ghana is turning into dementia. What is hilarious though is that you castigate me for being, in your words, hyprocritical. But you don't have the presence of mind to admit that you yourself hate Ghana just for the sake of it. Preferring rather to attribute your nonsensical contributions on this thread to my first contribution? are you bleeping kidding me?
Take a good look at yourself before you call anybody bigoted why dont you.

I see you are doing your best to sound thoughful and balanced. But alas, most of us can see through your careful attempts at a balanced contributions. You failed.

You, and your ilk on this thread, are just jealous to the bone of Ghana. Simple as. Try as you might to try to fabricate some other reason for your effussions, the truth is pretty obvious

anyway. game over. we are satisfied.this has been a good run out for our u20s.

now let's look forward to the world cup. I believe we'll be heading to the semi-finals there. Possibly even the finals but that's not certain. Semi finals for sure.

Tell them Prince. How can you go into a World Cup thinking like that. bleeping useless.

I keep telling them, football is played on the day. not by past records.

And for the record, African football does not reside with Egypt at all. They are reigning champions. fair play to them. But they are not the best in Africa. Otherwise they'd be heading to the world cup.

qualifying for the world cup is harder than winning 7 games for the ANC.

anyway, C'est la vie. We live to fight another day. These young boys have done me proud. Did you see our no. 10 Asamoah weaving past like 6 egyptian players?

the future is very bright. God bless our homeland Ghana!!!

Ghana deserve it. I have no sympathy for teams that play boring defensive football. Abi they were hoping to win the tournament playing 1-0 and 0-0 all the way? Serves them right!
bad belle will kill you. in football, you choose your tactics to match your opponents. not just play one style. this is the same egypt that demolished ur e-girls.
SportsRe: Nations Cup Final: Ghana Vs. Egypt [0 - 1] by shesi(m): 6:58pm On Jan 31, 2010
Egypt is nobody. Our kids did very well. They can hold their heads up high. Pound for pound, arabs are no match for africans when it comes to football. And our kids have shown that today.
SportsRe: Nations Cup Final: Ghana Vs. Egypt [0 - 1] by shesi(m): 6:44pm On Jan 31, 2010
you see the dirty tactics of the north africans? their player was down, we kicked the ball out and they refused to give the ball back to us.

FamilyRe: How Do You Deal With An Overstaying Mother In Law by shesi(m): 9:28am On Jan 31, 2010
To those spineless men saying you will kick out your mother to please your wife, think again you fool. If you live long enough to see your wife become a mother in law, then you'll see what a grevious mistake you've made. And understand why your father did not bother when your mother was bitching about his own mother.

No woman will drive my mother out of my house. I will not entertain such thoughts at all. Now i am not unreasonable. I will not allow my mother to sit on my wife's neck. My wife should be able to make her own decisions abot how she raises her children and manages her home. My mother can offer advice. But if my wife chooses to ignore it, i wouldn't force her. But i will not drive my mother out of my house. Where should the old lady go?

I will not drive my wife parents out of my house either. Where should they go? especially if they have no choice?

Women should understand this. Most times, us men are not completely happy having our mothers living with us either. We have to change our habits to suit them, or not change it and annoy them. Eitherway, their presence make our lives a little bit more stressful. BUT what choice do we have? Nada. You don't drive out the woman who raised you and made you who you are. Not unless you've build a comfortable place somewhere for her.Where should she go?

Do you kick out a troublesome baby?

nigerians are bad belle people.

go to ghana and ask anybody.  whenever we are not in a competition and nigeria is, we ALWAYS root for nigeria. ALWAYS. I don't know about now but definately when i lived in ghana this was the case.

See as you are all hating on Ghana. Go Ahead. We don't need your support anyway.

we WILL win.

Who the fark is Egypt.  Football is played on the day between the two teams. Not by past merit. Otherwise, what basis would nigerians have had to be optimistic before the game against Ghana? how many times have you won the Nations cup? see my point?

As we say in Ghana, "we dont fear huuuuuu"  Egypt is waay overrated.  Watch and Learn, the rest of africa, Watch and Learn.
