It's about time. While they are at it, they should also sanction the ones that would put up one price at the counter and charge something else at check out. 15 Likes 1 Share |

I'm not impressed with the numbers they are throwing around until it starts translating to lower prices for goods and services. Whenever you complain about high cost of commodities, they are quick to tell you "Dollar don rise", but now that dollar is falling, the costs aren't dropping. Make we see wetin go happen in coming weeks/months with this Naira appreciation (which is very good on the surface o) |

Does anybody know how I can get in touch with any good bricklayer (Nigerian or anyone from Togo of Benin Republic) to work for me in Shimawa? These guys I've been using are messing up my work so bad. |

Story of my life. Back when I went for service in 2006/2007 in New Bussa, Niger State, I supervised JSS3 students exam, during which I caught a group of boys. I still let them write their exams though, but only allowed them to sit in front with their tables and seats facing the class. After the exams, they mobilized other JSS3 students to come to my hostel with various form of weapons; my saving grace was a back door that lead to the corn farm at the other side of the hostel, which allowed me escape to the SS3 hostel. By now, dem for don dey talk about me as per once upon a time. dre11: 1 Like 1 Share |

Travel / Re: HELP: My Package Sent From USA Is Hanging At The Nigerian Customs by shevon: 3:06pm On Nov 23, 2022 |
Emmyzgold:If the items ship via USPS (as is the case of the OP) or through any other mailing services (Roayl Mail, China Post etc), there is no way around it, it would have to be routed through customs and NIPOST, except, of course, one pays for premium service (like EMS or it's equivalent from the country the items are coming from). If one ships through DHL, UPS or any other courier company, you will hardly get these kind of delays, but their are more expensive. Freight forwarders are cheaper (some as low as $5/lbs) and the transit time is better than using USPS, but you can't compare to the transit time of courier companies. But, we learn everyday sha. Abeg, if you get the code to avoid all these kind wahala with customs and NIPOST people, hook a brother up. 1 Like |

Pwettylinda:It is for this reason I stopped buying and shipping stuff directly from anywhere to Nigeria. If it is not customs, it is the staff at NIPOST. I just hope you're able to get you stuff, but in the future, kindly use freight forwarders. They might be a bit costlier than USPS, but you're sure to get your items intact. 3 Likes |

This is the sole reason banks like GTB disabled their customers from being able to send the customer service team an email. https://www.nairaland.com/7095940/how-report-financial-institution-cbn 1 Like |
