ifyalways:You have a very valid point too. We stopped using any body lotion and oil on the boys since after my second son had rashes from the soap we used. We now use only Shea butter mixed with virgin coconut oil on them, the liquid powder that came with the gift pack and the other talc we bought 2years ago are still in the house. |
My second son had a similar breakout, he had rashes all over his body from the 4th day after his birth. We tried everything, took him to the hospital and we were told to change his soap but every other soap we used after the Boots (UK) was even making the issue worse until we used the Mothercare we were given as a gift and that was it. He'd be 2 in a matter of days now and the spots for this rashes are still on his body, we still use Mothercare 'All We Know Baby Body Wash' or 'Little Softie Top to Toe Wash' because even when we tried using something else when he was a year and 6 months, he started having minor breakouts. Like someone suggested, take your child to the hospital for them to check what the problem is, it might be something as simple as what you use on the baby or the baby's diet, or something else. I pray God helps you find a lasting solution. |
Acidosis:My sentiments exactly. If this is not greed, I don't know what else to call it. As if if they don't get all that cash on this one apartment, life will end. By the way, what's the difference between Agreement and Legal fees? I know this house very well and I know the owners (no be dem Twins house on Akani Sowunmi?) If anybody is interested, let the agent collect 5% on the rent amount then have the owners agree on what their lawyers will change for his services, else contact me and I'll take you to the owners. Simple. |
This is a no contest, Simi is a better singer any time T. |
nabegibeg:No be lie joor, they are doing it. We don't even have to call or go to their office to complain if we have issues with power supply or our transformer is faulty, I just chat them up online, they create a ticket reference concerning the issue, escalate and follow up to ensure the issue is fixed within 24hrs where applicable.

DSS1335:Abi o, 0.005% of 15billion is just 750k, and that is why they are complaining of multiple taxation and cost transfer to customers? The annoying thing is that the increase in call/data rate is neve commensurate to the charges being levied on them: We might end up pay nothing less than 1% more because government is imposing about 0.005% levy on them. Besides, this, what has cost of call got to do with electronic transactions that is data based? |
I almost deactivated my account thinking it was an attack o. |
Faithway10:Of all of them, Eku Edewor is the only person that is thinking rationally. I am not in support for any woman not to be empowered, either by way of getting a paid employment or having a business of her own, either started by herself of the husband: every woman deserves to be independent. But in a situation where she finds herself as a stay at home wife/mother and the husband does does not even have enough to save after handling all the house expenses (including taking care of the wife's needs) where is he supposed to get the money to pay the wife salary? If the man can comfortably afford to take of the home and also have a side chick (like some men do ) and does not think he should pay his wife salary, then he deserves any name he is called within the context of this discuss.I understand some men have trust issues, like Sai B (if you are thinking Bubu, na you sabi) and would force their wives to stay at home instead of being ogled by other men, then you should have a plan to give her what she would have been earning if she was forced out of a business or job. So many factors are supposed to be considered when discussing this type of topic, it is not fair to just generally say stay at home mothers or wives should be paid salaries (not that I am against it if the partner can afford it) |

allanphash7:Those ones are just robbers. Sometime last month, I went to fix my phone and forgot my GTB card at home, so I transferred money from my GTB to Access Bank account on the 10th. I also tried to buy N100 airtime to make a quick call that day and it failed, complained about it and the debit was reversed on the 13th. Could you believe Access Bank charged me N50 for stamp duty for the transaction that occurred on the 13th? When I called, email and called them out on Tweeter to complain that I was charged for getting a refund for a failed transaction, their thieving service reps said it was not for the transaction stated in the narration but for the inflow into my account on the 10th. The simple question I asked was: Are you sure you know the CBN rule concerning stamp duties? They all said they do; I had to go and pull CBN circular showing transactions that were exempted (intra or inter bank self to self transfer, deposits less than N1,000.00 and payments into a savings account). Even the eleribu that I spoke to on the phone was still arguing and asking me if I were a banker. Do I need to be a banker to know my rights? Last last, I had to start mentioning CBN in my tweets before they reversed the stamp duty. They assumed they were dealing with a Nigerian that will swallow anything they threw at; dem for surprise wetin I for do if dem no reverse my N50 7 days after I reported it. Awon ole jati-jati. |
In a society that is working, this shouldn't be an issue. I remember when my boy came, I was in Romania and I was asked how I was going to use my Paternity and Parental leave. I told them we had nothing of such for men in Nigeria, they were surprised because in Romania, aside the 15 working days the father of a child has to stay at home after birth, he still can alternate with his wife if they choose to take Parental leave of 24 months. Under their law, within that 2 years, whoever chooses to take the parental leave will receive 85% from the mean of their net income within 12 months prior, but the amount cannot be less than RON1,063.00 (which is about N98,000.00). So, if the man likes, he can take 2 months off while his wife works and when he returns to work, the wife will continue to stay at home. The amount stated above is subject to some conditions which is no big deal if you ask me and they also have some other benefits too. I sha don tire for this our Labor law, honestly, it doesn't favour the works in any way, especially when you consider what expatriates enjoy when they work in this country for the same company you work with. |
biacan:Have you not heard about 'Office of The Friend of The Governor" before? They are there as friend of the winner or contributors to the win of the winner. You never can tell, they might end up getting small statues beside the big one that the winner will get. ![]()

Recognise you as who or what? A Pulitzer Prize winner or Justice of Peace? Ayam not understanding ![]() |
What's the need for the declaration? Even if you no declare, you think I'll go to work? Rubbish waste of declaration. It's just like HR sending email that Tuesday is public holiday: Dear HR, I've been celebrating this day for close to 40years now, so don't think I need your email reminder to stay off work on May 1. Best regards. |
This man has trust issues. Im think say na Naija whey some things no dey work. |
Fossil fuel still rules! |
americanson:Yup! |
americanson:No vex, na my use of English. I guess you are confused about both of us being married. Yes, we are albeit to different people. |
Biglittlelois:Oh, no. We are married to different people now but we are still friends. |
Silence. Just silence and I've never spoken about it with her again till date. Even when she kind of derailed a gist to the talk of that day and how she regrets not taking that opportunity to be with me (despite both of us being married now to different people) I responded in kind.... with silence. |
Biko, put them up for eviction and let's vote them out sharp sharp |
I've been searching for firsthand info regarding the bands that work on this phone. This is the reason I am yet to get one, definitely giving up my Zero 4 for 5. Thanks a bunch. |
solutionist:Above bolded is so on point, what in the face of the fact that the government wants to start taxing people that have personal water sources in their compound. |
This was in Eleme some years ago. I refused to eat chicken in Port Harcourt for almost 6 months after that incident. |
matrix199:Believe me, if you tell Nigerian Police this, they will arrest you for obstruction of Police work. Case whey dem don close and whey one person don dey use eye promotion na im you say make dem do further investigation? They can work when they want to, trust me, we have loads of experts within the Nigerian Police force; but when that spirit of laziness overwhelm them, their is nothing an innocent man can do to get himself off the hook of Nigerian Police. |

davodyguy:We don't make our gutters like that and the cars are too orderly to be on Lagos road. This is not Lagos traffic biki. |
Na wah o, I thought they had found their square root already. Why all these now? |
bestman09:GTB, Access Bank and Wema Bank are a bunch of twarts then. Their cards have not been working for over 8 months now. |
tamethem:I've received refunds on PayPal (the period we could add our cards o) and it was paid back to my account. I guess yours was because they made it look like a payment. But my issue with them now is that we cannot even add our cards anymore, it keeps asking to check our card details, even when it is correct. |
abidex0z:You are absolutely right. They told me the same thing and when I called my Bank, I was told there was nothing stopping my card from being used on PayPal from their own end. I still keep trying to add my card though and I keep getting same card detail error. It used to work but suddenly started giving error, I was asked to delete and re-add the card, it's been since then that the yeye thing won't allow me add my card. It's so pathetic. |
So if you are told here to go apply kerosene or battery water on it, you'd heed to it? O ma she o.
