I dont anything bad in such school for now. for the school to be consider bad enough to make the front page of NL, let the source of the article do a good job and tell us where the school is located, If it is a government owned school or not?, how much do they pay if its a private school? cos i know of a private sch within the place where i served (NYSC) where they have structure just as bad as this one but they paid very little so no body complains as long as the student(pupils) are not distracted when learning.if they dont get rain drenched, they are not distracted and the parents are aware before registering thier pupils there then we should turn our attention to the authority that regulates school standard. they r suppose to take care of such. lastly, is there no sign board to identify the school properly There should be a proper write up to support the claim of saharreporters' photonews. |

Without Nigeria, Ghana would be Cameroun would be Africas football giant. We all would probably be better off economically by now but it will be nothing compared to "a Nigeria in the future".
Thank you. |

Politics › Re: Colonel Gadhaffi Vs Colonel Ojukwu:who Got Balls Of Steel?who Was The Real Man? by sheyguy: 5:11pm On Oct 23, 2011 |
Kc3000: I don't know about Ojukwu and Gadhaffi, both are definitely strong fellows. But I'm a 100000% sure Ojukwu is more of a man than the following people all put together:
Awolowo - actually tried to plan the first coup in nigeria, failed miserably as his plan never got off the ground, and ended up in federal prison. Sold his soul and that of all his relatives just to bear the title 'president of nigeria' even if it was for one day. Alas, the best he ever amounted to was FINANCE MINISTER under a 30-something year old army general. The stench of the embarrassment was too much that he did what all cowards do; committed suicide.
Abiola- This character was an accomplice in the looting of Nigeria's treasury for many years, and then turned around and tried to demand power from his partners in crime. At the end of the day, he was offed silently, along with some of his family and nothing really happened. Neither he, nor his army of noise-makers exacted any retribution.
The weeping Generals- The most shameless display of cowardice ever recorded in the history of the Nigerian military, played out when Generals Diya, Adisa, Olarenwaju, and a bunch of other yorubas decided it was their own turn to man up and plan a coup in Nigeria, since everyone else had done so. Unlike other coups before this one, be it succesful or not, we were confronted by the spectacle of so called Generals crying like little girls, and prostrating before junior officers like Captains and Majors. The cowards completely lost their military bearing and whatever little respect they had, and I could not believe my eyes. The images of Diya and Adisa face down and crying at the feet of a common Major(mustapha) is forever etched in our memories. From the first coup of 1966, up till this point, all apprehended coupist faced the music with courage and some even with defiance in the face of torture. But these 'gentlemen' clearly lacked the intestinal fortitude for the adventure they got involved in. My grandmother has more balls than this bunch. Just like Awolowo's coup, this nonsense never saw the light of day. SNITCHING like little girls while trying to play a grown man's game. pls somtin caught my att. In ur post, u said somtin abt som yoruba leaders lying down and begging mustapha, isnt it the same mustapha that's in prison 2day, standin trial cos of anoda yoruba. Men learn to fare d yrubas oh!!!. |

I couldn't agree kess with ur views(topic & comments). We r being enslaved in this country. We have thousands of youth(cheap labour) will to work hard. but we dont have leaders at all level and there seems to be no hope in sight. Its just so fustrating. In all we should not forget that GEJ AND IWEALA r no island working alone, the enemy system is much more bigger. Benin is not a bad idea if u consider their cheap labour and relatively stable economy. |

Politics › Re: Ojukwu's Speech On Biafra's Second Year Anniversary (omg! Very Inspiring) by sheyguy: 12:39pm On Oct 22, 2011 |
It is funy how the guy-ojukwu keeps talking about white hating black but d same wite supported some other groups of black(hausa/fulani). His speech is so volumnous & has so many illogical conclusions just the like the present day biafrans r known 4 in their businesses. He does not sound like someone trying tn make friend with any black nation at all. France and canada supported biafra with arms while usa did thiers with provision of red cross yet he barely acknowledged them. He is a proud person and that did not work in favour of his pple.
Besides how did the SW pple betray the biafra pple. Making a mistake by going to war unprepared was quite forgivable however refusing to admit that mistake even some 50 yrs later is a greater mistake. |
