Sorry i'm off point but Ibo= jews of Africa? laughed so much i started crying. Not even sure the real jews will be proud of such kinship. Ew, almost burst my kidney laughing |
Really this is not the best way to go about it. Would have been a bit better if the organization was a public one, but a one man biz? Dude practically shited on Adenuga. It'll definitely get to him. So methinks this guy should kiss corporate naija goodbye. Glo will learn a lesson and improve on his points but the guy'll be the sacrificial cow,, or dog depending on what god u worship ![]() |
I read some people's opinions and what comes to mind is the famous rebranding- Good People Great Nation. Spent so much money yet nothing good came of it except an extra wallpaper in our phones. It is pathetic and appaling that some of us think we can change the nation's reputation by sending a few pictures to foreign media. They already have journalists around here, they know what goes on! Let's stop deceiving ourselves and instead focus on our individual attitude. Truth is, we are the nation and our actions will bring about a positive or negative image for the country. Stop coming up with silly kindergarten lists on nairaland. Can't imagine someone comes up with a list and it includes food! Such gluttony ![]() |
@ladej ah an? Was just a joke na, dint u see the emoticon? On a more serious note i would ask you and any person who reflects why would nigeria and not another would be the subject of ridicule and negative criticism if something was not really wrong. The world over didn't just pull out our country from a pot of country names and started accusing us of stuffs. Its an established fact that we are guilty of all that has been laid on our doorstep. Even the uneducated, mechanic across my street dreams of millions anytime he sees my laptop. He thinks all he needs to do is learn to press the keyboard and pronto, money flows. He knows the money comes from another person's sweat but does he care? The ruling adults are only content with outsmarting themselves in the looting of the state treasury while the young do not care less. Some are even ready to support, campaign for or even kill for these politicians. Etc. And the bad part is- the world over can see everything we're doing. IT'S ABOUT CHANGING OUR ATTITUDE AND CHARACTER AS PEOPLE NOT JUST PICTURES AND VIDEOS. BTW I plan on sending a pic of the sunset in a lagos beach. There's beauty even amidst the failure |
Me am sending a pic of a cybercafe filled with boiz. No caption, I'm sure they'd understand. ![]() |
Eh okay, eagle dey there, white man, black man, yada yada, everything for your marvellous imagination sef dey inside. Wetin una go come do about am? Can't we just sharrraaap and stop bringing illogical and silly issues like this up? Black man kick White man, U go fit do home video from World Cup logo sef ![]() |
People are really talking trash on this issue. Upgrading or not, do you know how many of the employed people actually enjoy what they are doing? The reality that is nigeria today, people get jobs just for the sake of leaving the house every morning. There is so much unemployment that the available jobs offer incredible (not positively) benefits and the working environment is appaling, in the mind of the employer "if you no do am, resign i get plenty CV wey i never treat". So if that type of person seeks a better job, do you blame him? I guess most of u are on your cozy seats idling away in the office with no pressure or fear of how to pay the yearly rent that is about due and no children reminding you of unpaid school fees. Most of you are foreign nigerians(?) anyway, you don't know the extent of the problem, just babble on nairaland and think that makes u Nigerians |
lets just put it in perspective- who do u fink is a better emcee? Ruggedman 1. He's a self-proclaimed speaker for mechanics and shoemakers (who dont listen to him anyway), 2. Had to diss others to get recognition. 3. Has a legion of followers who think he sanitized the rap scene (no mention of his rapping skills) 4. All his notable works have either been criticisms or response to them (self-made rapper?) 5. Thinks a kilo of stone is heavier than a kilo of cotton. Remarkable line: ", took it with a pinch of salt, and a bottle of malt" Notable Album Title: Ruggedy Baba Modenine 1. Started from the underground with mixtapes and gradually built his cred 2. Was a radio personality back in the days 2. Became recognized in Africa as one of the tightest out of Naija 3. Has a followership of rapheads who revere and respect his flow and punchlines. 4. Consistently makes new tracks proving he doesnt lack ideas Remarkable line: this baba that baba,u're not a father u got intellect myopia/ so when i-diss-a-baba its not Ethiopia Notable Album Title: E Pluribus U Num I remember back in the day in school, guys used to call me to listen to modenine track and we played, replayed and rewinded the tracks and even spent days getting the complex logic he spewed. No one ever called me to a Ruggedy baba track Who even looks cooler?

All these paranoia sef. What reason do they have to attempt such an irrational and ultimately suicidal action? LAGOS! No be one small village we dey talk o. i remember last year when everybody rooted for Dark Knight. What did those silly people do? Gave every award in sight to a certain Indian flick, a movie for sissies. Tah! I fear for avatar o. dem no dey give award to the one wey everybody dey expect |
Which stupid job e dey do wey you wan make e finish? Does it look like we have a coach the way they are playing? ![]() Maybe na d same village una come from ![]() |
funny enough guys also feel the same way;no one wants to be lonely. but if its a partner, a lifelong one for that matter, one has to make the right choice even if it means taking time. You cant start feeling you make the wrong choice a day after you say "i do" or worse stil after 3 4 kids whose later life would be based on their early years. God help us |
