atlwireles: General Oku remains a hero, all you fanatical Islamist must be cut to size on this planet.your fanaticism is devilish just like your hero. however, if this is not taken care of, tomorrow it would be your own turn. today you are cheering because it is a southern terrorist in army uniform killing northern Muslim children. tomorrow, it would be a northern general killing southern Christian children. terrorists, outlaws and criminals in all colors, shape, ethnicity, and sizes should face justice. that is how a sane and decent country can be built for all citizens to live in harmony. it is sad that most posters here are silly bigots. |
for all those clutching at straws, forget the fabricated stories that the sons "engaged in a gun battle with soldiers", "they shouldn't have protested/hold a procession because the north is volatile", "the time was not right", "it is not our business with what goes on in Gaza", etc. of course, every time security forces kill innocent civilians, the civilians are said to be armed. but the ironic of it all, no security personnel ever get injured or killed in these cooked up "confrontations". you can name them. PLEASE FORGET ALL THOSE RED HERRINGS. WHAT IS THE POINT: If all of the arguments presented to support the murder of 3 sons of Zakzaky and over 30 of his followers are true, ONE QUESTION MUST STILL BE ANSWERED!!! even if you arrest a terrorist, you have no right after arresting him, and having him in your custody at your mercy, to torture him, stab him and then finally shoot him. for those of you who do not know the meaning of EXTRA-JUDICIAL KILLING, please search a dictionary. Mohammed Yusuf of Boko Haram was a renowned terrorist, yet still, he was extra judicially killed. it doesn't mean when you arrest a terrorist you can lynch him or shoot him. the point is simple: one of Zakzaky's sons was killed during the procession. 3 others were arrested and taken into custody. the older 2 were tortured and shot by one demon called General S. O Oku, while the younger one only got tortured and wounds on his legs. is it right for any citizen, whatever his crimes are, to be extra judicially shot and killed AFTER ARREST without fair trial? |
tokunboh: You seem to be ignorant of what ZakyZaky stands for. Everything Boko haram wants, Zakzaky aspired before they did. Zakzaky has an aspiration of creating an Islamic caliphate within Nigeria long before Boko Haram even conceived the idea. He has his military outfit which carries out military drills from time to time, this same military outfit was the one that clashed with security forces on the said quds day. (research zakzaky's history of violence for you to know more about the movement's violent past which dates back even to the 1980s). All he aspired for has the paintings of Boko haram on it. He basically wants to become Ayatollah Khomeini of Nigeria. So, would I want to pity someone like Zakzaky that has such extremists tendencies and views?you are not only making up stories, but you are dead wrong. Shia Muslims DO NOT believe in any "islamic caliphate". one of the main differences that set the Shi'ites apart from the Sunnis is that Sunnis believe in caliphate while Shi'ites believe in Imamate. what is really wrong in becoming the Ayatollah Khomeini of Nigeria? if he can do it in the same way Khomeini did it in Iran, with the consent and support of over 90% of the citizens of his country, then why not? Khomeini led a popular revolution in Iran to free his country from a foreign imposed dictator. you have a lot to read. |
http://thenationonlineng.net/new/el-zakzaky-rejects-jonathans-sorry/ Frontline Islamic cleric Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky has rejected President Goodluck Jonathan’s apology for the killing of his three sons and 31 other members of his movement. El-Zakzaky is the leader of the Shiite Islamic Movement in Nigeria. Members of the group were on a procession on July 25 in his Zaria, Kaduna State base to mark the annual Quds Day when they clashed with security men at the P2 Roundabout in the University town. At the end of the clash, 34 members of the sect lay dead; 106 were injured. Yesterday, the cleric told visiting Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, in Zaria that he expected nothing but justice from the government. He said President Goodluck Jonathan called him on the telephone to apologise to him on the killings but he rejected it. “You don’t commit murder and say sorry,” El-Zakzaky said, adding: “If that is the case, there is no need for legislation. Whenever one commits a crime, all he needs to do is to say sorry. Why do we have the police, courts and prisons? These murderers are known. I am not blaming the entire military, but I know the killers. They are individuals who answer names. I know their commander is a Lieutenant Colonel who personally shot my children. He stamped on their bodies and stabbed them with knives. This is clearly a crime committed.” Zakzaky said it is only when criminals are punished that the society acknowledges that a crime was truly committed. “My children were identified as my children before they were tortured to death. This is a crime. I can’t imagine how callous and cruel one can be to murder three children simply because he hates their father. They did nothing,” he said. However, he said, the Islamic Movement had cause to rejoice over what happened to its members, as they were killed on the path of God. “You as a Christian believe that Jesus Christ was killed for no offence, but just because he was good. This has been the fate of all good people, such as the Prophets. This is a certificate on our own little way that these people were good, but the corrupt society feels that we should not exist.” Zakzaky praised the NHRC boss for the visit and the concern shown, maintaining that the movement would not fold its arms and accept what happened without any effort, but will seek redress through the right channel. Odinkalu pledged that the Commission would seek all legal avenues and employ all legal mechanisms to ensure that the law takes its course over the killings. Odinkalu added: “We are all children of one country and one Nigeria. None of us chose to be here, but we are all planted here by God for a reason. No parent wants to lose three children at a time. These children could be children of any parent. But it got to a point in this country where losing people no longer matters, where young people can die and nobody cares. “We will ensure justice is done without undue interference from any quarters, as vanguards of citizens in their demand for justice and fair play. We pray God for the repose of the souls of those killed and give to Sheikh the fortitude and strength to bear the irreparable loss.” Zakzaky said the perpetrators of the act intended to isolate the Islamic Movement as another “Boko Haram” to create hatred between the group and the public. “This is why they are referring to us as ‘Shi’ite sect’. We are never a sect, and will never be one. I personally do not recognise a sect; we have never called ourselves a sect. we have never been a sect and will never be. All my life, I never even recognised a sect,” he said. The Sheikh went on: “They indiscriminately and sporadically shot at everyone and everything, including nearby banks and shops, smashed cars. We also realised that the soldiers used special tiny bullets on the protesters that were not easily detected during first aid treatment on the injured. “An announcement had already been made that any person injured and discharged from hospital, should go back for cross examination.” El-Zakzaky said the military created the Boko Haram sect. “It has become obvious that the military has created a faceless and anonymous sect called Boko Haram. “We have never seen a Boko Haram member nor their schools, mosques or newspapers. All we hear of them are bomb blast and videos issuing threat of attack, promoted by the government as the only source of information.” |
Nctrice: that you chose to leave you font Colour at default is not my problem, if my choice of font colour is your problem, then am sorry you may have to deal with it alone. Having said that! One thing you Jihadis feel is that every person you talk to is a fool and should only see things from your own perspective, you hoodwink people to their early grave promising them virgins after death(I wonder what virgin would like to sleep with a dead man!) but you forget that not everyone is as stereotype in reasoning as your religion has made you to believe and made you believe that you are to kill anyone that refuses to be stereotype in reasoning like you all are! Until the Nigerian Army come out and tell the world that some soldiers went haywire and decided to kill some muslims for no reason then we both have an issue to discuss anything short of that, then we will always stand by the version of Nigerian Army about what transpired that day! You know why? Its because going by recent record only Muslims has attacked more innocent people and armed security agents than the Nigerian Army has ever done!honestly, i am amused!!! ![]() if i am to start dissecting your post and replying to the preposterous points you made, i would give credence to your words. so i wouldn't budge. what is amusing is your new definition of "jihadist". according to you "jihadist" is a poster who made a certain kind of posts online identifiable by you!!! ![]() |
Nctrice: OP so After you must have doctored and re-doctored the video you are now feeding us with over used garbage! Mr. Man if you are looking for people to deceive I advice you go gather together those your Almajiri folks and fool them, at least you could crate more bomber out of them! Hopeless set of religious bigot!that is your assumption. i found the video online and i chose to share with the online community i am part of. i did not create the video for you to say i "doctored" it. besides, if it was really doctored, then the person who "doctored" it is a poor and foolish doctor to have left the part showing stones being thrown. doctored or not doctored, opinions thus far are stated based on what is seen. and what is seen is enough to use as basis for my comments i already stated and to validate those comments. you should deal with the message, and not attack the messenger. painting your fonts in red will not make your post carry more sense or less foolishness. |
untainted: @Shia Muslimmy brother, the rally stretches kilometers. tens of thousands converge on this annual procession. so even 33 killed isn't because the protesters waited till 33 are killed. it is obvious that if they would have stayed or intended on confrontation many more would have been killed. also, protesters were arrested. how did the soldiers manage to arrest "violent" protesters if the protesters were really violent? and guess what? among those arrested and killed in custody were the sons of Zakzaky who were meant to be among the leaders and movers of the rally. what does that tell you? is that a violent rally? |
the Quds Days rally which takes place annually is recorded. however, the recording concentrates on the procession's head, and not the tail end which stretches back several kilometers. the below videos capture how the procession was going on peacefully, and the attack on the tail end of the procession went unnoticed. hopefully, more videos may be released to reveal how the attack really started. or possibly the Islamic Movement is first waiting for the investigation to conclude before releasing any eye-opening video that would expose everything. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8RJq4HYsao https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n90Lhe--8lg |
untainted: I initially thought it was a coldblooded massacre.from the video it is clear that the soldiers were not shot at. at least, no more baseless argument of anyone shooting at soldiers. if they were shot at, i don't think they would be parading the way they were, and moving step by step to look for protesters. talking about clash, all around the world, demos and protests get out of hand and the police intervenes with tear gas, water canon, and rubber bullets. what led protesters to seek stones to throw at soldiers? and the majority of the protesters were either running, taking cover, laying on the ground or hiding. also, when people are going on their peaceful rally and you insist on dispersing them, clearing the road, or feeling too important and powerful to respect the fundamental human rights of Nigerians to protest on their roads by not wanting to wait, then you are the transgressor here and not the protesters throwing stones who were provoked or felt insulted. that is assuming that the allegation by Sheikh Zakzaky that the attack/provocation by soldiers was premeditated and the soldiers were sent from Abuja isn't true. talking about "cold blooded" murder, that is exactly what happened to 2 of the 3 sons of Sheikh Zakzaky arrested by the soldiers. 2 of them were killed in the custody of the soldiers. a 3rd got his legs broken, and one was killed in the protest. anyways, everyone is entitled to his opinion. and the army command says it is investigating the incident. lets wait and see their conclusions. |
AustineE1: for El Zakzaky to think that a brig.Gen Okuh will stoop so low as to pick up a gun and knife and go on a killing spree in an ordinary riot, means that El zakzaky needs his head examiined. gymer: I doubt this man's account. There is no way a Brigadier General will stoop so low to go on a stabbing spree in such a manner. Where were the Colonels, Lt. Colonels, Majors, Captains, Lieutenants, 2nd Liutenants, etc. We should have the fear of God in whatever we do.this paid troll should stop spamming this thread with nonsense using different usernames. in your mind the brig. gen left his bedroom alone on pajamas and slippers to arrest the kids and then kill them. can't you think that he must have been with his men, but he is being spotted and singled out because he is the highest ranking officer? |
Quds Day shootings: How the military targeted my sons By Ibrahim Usman After the Eid prayer at the Hussainiyyah Baqiyyatullah Zaria, Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky further narrated the indiscriminate shootings of peaceful protesters during the Quds Day procession in Zaria, and how the military targeted his sons. He was speaking on the backdrop of the current wave of killings in northern Nigeria, saying that the Quds Day shooting clearly indicated where the orders are coming from. “There is nothing like a religious group taking up arms in Nigeria as they are trying to make us believe. On our own part, they came in broad dalight in their military uniforms, fully armed with military inscriptions on their vehicles and committed arson and murder. From this you will understand those killing innocent citizens either in Birnin Gwari forest or Zamfara and other places.” Sheikh Zakzaky said, it is unbelievable that sporadic killings were going with a democratically elected government assuming ignorant of the issue and lacks control. “There is nothing like Boko Haram killing people, we cannot be fooled. Those in authority are the sole authors of the atrocities”, he added. Commenting on how his sons were targeted, Sheikh Zakzaky made the following statement: “As they targeted my sons for arrest, in the process killed one, Mahmoud, whom they shot in the abdomen and he died. They also arrested three others, Ahmad, Hamid and Ali. Through a link we demanded them to release them to us, but the Commandant of the Basawa military barrack said he would not release them but rather will take them to ABU Teaching Hospital, Shika for medication. They were in good condition when they were arrested. As they were boarding them into the vehicle, he shot Ahmad three times and threw him into the vehicle. He was alive and talking then, they broke his arms and legs. They started beating Ali, while Hamid was trying to protect him, they turned to Hamid and stabbed him several times with knives, even on his head. Ahmad was already dead, but Hamid was still telling them words and they shot Ali on his legs. When they realized that Hamid was still talking, they continued stabbing him with knife until they made sure he was dead before they reached the hospital. The name of the person who shot them was Brigadier General S. Okuh, he is the C.O. Engineer of Bassawa. When i demanded for the release of my sons through the GOC 1 Mechanized Division, Okuh said he would release them but not alive. By Allah’s infinite mercy, Ali is alive, he saw how his brothers were brutally murdered before his eyes. He is presently receiving medical attention, as a result of compound fracture on his leg, from the several shooting on his leg. When this happened, people really sympathized with me without the usual display of diffrence instilled in them. This is another calamity they brought among the Muslims. They created groups fighting one another on the basis of sect, but with this nasty event the idea was eradicted completely. We received several condolences from the government circle and even past leader. People should look outwards for their enemy, not from within. They should know We have a common enemy, emerging in different colours and shapes, sometimes in a religious aspect. They could not find the people to do this for them here, so they decided to do it themselves. As we witness this, we should all come back to our senses and revert to Allah and break the imaginary barriers among us as Muslims. We should know that all Muslims are brothers. Yes, we have differences, but it is not a difference of belief and disbelief, but rather minor difference among Muslims themseleves. You should then weigh, who is really your brother and enemy, between an outsider who sees you as enemy and a brother with minor difference in your fold? When you are fighting an insider, you do not need the intervention of an outsider. The enemy has now resorted to doing damage on us, then blame it on us. We pray that Allah deliver us from this degradation we found ourselves in Nigeria, who boast of having the highest population of Muslims. We are in a situation where Islam and Muslims are identified as the enemy of the state and a threat to the society, and the Muslims helplessly accepted the situation for a token or leadership. http://www.islamicmovement.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1197:quds-day-shootings-how-the-military-targeted-my-sons&catid=35:news-display |

Press release: NIGERIA - More army shooting of Zakzaky supporters today Saturday, 26 July 2014 15:11 Further to the shootings and killing of pro-Palestinian protesters at yesterday’s Al-Quds Day march in Zaria, and the subsequent killings in custody of protestors, it is reported that the army raided the Hussainiyyah Baqiyyatullah Islamic Centre affiliated to the Islamic Movement and opened fire killing 3, and injuring 7. The centre where where some of the injured from yesterday’s massacre (photos here http://www.ihrc.org.uk/multimedia/pictures/view/120) were sheltering, as well as where some of released bodies of those killed were being prepared for burial. This adds to yesterday’s death toll. Among those killed were 3 sons of the Islamic Movement’s leader, Sheikh Ibrahim Al-zakzaky. Killed at the demonstration was Syed Mahmoud, whilst the two other brothers Syed Ahmed and Syed Hameed, were taken into custody with their brother Syed Ali. All three were shot and only Ali appears to have survived. Whilst the reports from yesterday’s massacre indicated that the troops involved were from the Sabon Gari barracks, those in charge there are claiming that the troops involved were in fact sent from Abuja and were not commanded from the locale. The Islamic Movement in Nigeria is not an armed movement. It has organised peaceful pro-Palestinian demonstrations on annual basis for over 33 years across Nigeria and particularly in the state of Kaduna. IHRC Chair, Massoud Shadjareh said: “The Goodluck - Nethanyahu co-operation is resulting in massacres beyond Gaza’s borders. The blood of these young men and women killed in Nigeria is equally on the hands of both men and regimes.” Demonstrations and vigils protesting recent events in Nigeria are planned in various cities world-wide. The UK vigil has been called for 4.30pm (BST) on Monday 28 July outside the Nigerian High Commission, Nigeria House, 9 Northumberland Ave, London WC2N 5BX. Subhanallah! i presented an article written by sunnis and there is also another article in another thread i presented written by the former sunni mufti of Makkah against wahhabism.Vedaxcool is coopying wikipedia and the words of a westerner who knows nothing about Islam.if at all,the westerner will support wahhabism because wahhabism was created by the british colonialist to cause discord in Islam and try to introduce deviant doctrines. the westerner should ask about Ibn Abdul Wahhab's attrocities against the people in Ta'if and the attrocities his ally Ibn Saud committed in Karbala.the root of wahhabism is terror and bloodshed.they are vampires-they feed on human blood.they unfortunately give Islam a bad image because many non-muslims do not know the reality of terrorism to be a product of wahhabism. wahhabism will die a slow death, the moment the un-islamic monarchy in saudi arabia crumbles to the ground.the wahhabi theology itself by Ibn Abdul Wahhab was meant to give some sort of islamic basis for the monarchy established by the Saud family.monarchy is a system that has no basis in Islam. |
vedaxcool: How Shia abadoned the Ahlulbaytthat thread stands as witness against your $tupidity. i still wonder what kind of lock you have placed on your heart.how can a Shia abandon those he claims or actually follows and those very ones who give him his name? can someone who abandons Prophet Muhammad (sa) still be described as a Muslim? well,to the sunnis that is possible.Umar fled from the battle field in uhud, questioned the truthfulness of the prophethood of Muhammad (sa) in hudaibiyyah, insulted the Prophet (sa) on his deathbed as reported in "Hadith of Pen and Paper",refused the Prophet's (sa) order to join Usama Ibn Zaid's (ra) army and the sunnis still honor him!!! |
vedaxcool: keep aiding your mentor and senior idol worshipper when frosbel is ready to answer the question then i will continue.typical of wahhabis.they always go for easy preys. |
vedaxcool: Go and worship your numeerous idols and leave here, just as lagosshia called upon Ali ( Ya Ali madad) lolwe worship not any man.we do intercession which ironically even sunnis (who have not yet fallen victim to wahhabism) follow.see your sunni brothers do what you call "worshipping the dead": http://www.sunnah.org/ibadaat/tawassul.htm#Proofs%20of%20intercession%20and%20mediation%20in%20the%20Qur%27an |
vedaxcool: be sensible enough to allow the frossbel answer the question or are you now his alternate id? this shias will always support their mentors who worship idols!you do not need to be scared since you have sealed your heart and brain.you fail to see the dangers of misguidance and the threat of wahhabism.i got nothing to do with frosbel.i am only saying what i believe. see who worships idols: https://www.nairaland.com/953027/23rd-anniversary-demise-ayatullah-khomeini/1#11050262 |
vedaxcool: ^^^you need your head examined! my sincere advice.you get deceived thinking wahhabism is the same as being mainstream sunni.even being sunni is deviation from the truth of Islam.how worse when you become a wahhabi and fell prey to the wahhabis in disguise of being sunni. i do not have any idol.the two idols of quraysh (sanamai-quraysh)-abu bakr and umar-are the idols of sunnis.we Shia even have a dua (supplication) called "dua sanamai quraysh" to dissociate ourselves from idolatry of the "two idols": http://www.al-mubin.org/attachments/183_Dua%20Sanamy%20al-Quraish.pdf and you can listen to the dua here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnN6_mGqCOc&feature=watch_response |
vedaxcool: Could you tell us what this doctrine is?do not pretend you do not know. the doctrine of : -takfir (declaring all others including other Muslims who differ in school of thought to be kafir) -beheading -calling everyone a mushrik (idolater/polytheist) -terrorism -suicide bombing of innocent civilians and places of worship of others -giving Muslims and Islam a bad image the world over. this is wahhabism!!! the list goes on.everyone is free to add what he knows about it. |
^ block-head! sorry,i cannot force you to think.keep dwelling in $tupidity and avoid reasoning to keep arguing.the good thing about you is that you want to feel reasonable and you argue even though in foolishness or blind ignorance;and you justify it .but wahhabis generally shun talking or debating religion.they do not talk, they behead!i'm not sure if you'd not behead me had you seen me.would you? ![]() the Prophet (sa) allegedly ordered sunnis to follow so called "rightly guided caliphs" that revoke each other's sunnah and err.sunnis are institutionalizing error and justifying misgudance all in order to protect the image of a few sahaba who were tyrannical and un-islamic.that is what is evident and they love it!!! |
