Many indigent students drop out of school and most people don't care. This is a lifeline for them. That is a bigger consideration than loan repayment concerns.

Someday a new set of youths who got education via the loan will champion the need to always pay back so others could benefit.

Later, government can rethink the process and include endowment funds where individuals & organizations can help contribute to the loan scheme.

Challenges should not kill a great vision.

I have said it and I will continue to say it that this FG students' loan is later be a bad debt because I am still wondering how the repayment will be possible, when the FG doesn't have a good system in place to absorb graduates after graduation. Many of these people will later end in a foreign country while many may not have a job but resort to self employed. Countries doing students' loan have a vibrant system of recouping the loan even in many years after graduation.

E shock me too. Just collect your loan, get your education, face the world. Pay back your loan when your doors open, that way you grow the society by helping others now in your previous shoes.

Since federal government of Nigeria leased Lagos International Trade Fair to Nd'Igbo for 100 years, Lagos ethnic sh!t does not have the power to claim the market from Ndi Igbo, even the Lagos state government can't do that because the agreement was made between Ndi Igbo and the Federal government of Nigeria, when Lagos state was the Capital of Nigeria. And the agreement is renewable after 100 years.
So Lagos state government must wait after 100 years when the agreement has already elapsed.

Your ethnic identity and awareness is just another form of tribalism it has no power over the rule of law. FYI, hatred and tribalism is forbidden in Nigeria, hence the case of One Nigeria.
