I said it yesterday.

Day 2 or Day 3, they will issue warning. By Day 4, it is miscreants versus the state. Stay at home if you have future ambition.

Goodvibes007:
She, Charlie boy, and the Agulu fraud. Birds of the same feather.

They gaslighted the north, and those ones looted and destroyed their own infrastructure, and she declares that Nigeria is already winning.

When state governors in the North are declaring curfews, how is Nigeria winning?

When IPOB are still on a murderous rampage in the SE, how is Nigeria winning?

From experience, protest without good food can only last 2 or 3 days. Navigating those tear gas fumes requires special skills and energy. You go beg comrades tire grin grin

Corruption in Nigeria is not about Tinubu. Let’s be serious.

Sunday2021:
as far as tinubu become president every Nigerian don't see anything wrong with being corrupt. Tinubu is a well known corrupt fellow and he stole his way up, Now our youths believe that if you want to make it you must be corrupt like tinubu.
PoliticsRe: Thugs Threaten Protesters At Ojota, Lagos, As Police Stand By #endbadgovernancei by Shikena(m): 7:48pm On Aug 01, 2024
Does it really matter? Lagosians are resolute that no public property will be destroyed and that's all that matters.
Some are disappointed that the whole process did not spiral out of control but that's their headache. You can protest but you won't destroy properties in Lagos. Let the Northerners enjoy their destruction and deal with the consequences later. Not anymore in the South West.

Ironbull:
You can see these two idiots are not even from SW according to their accent. Lagosian una too dey sleep can Yoruba or Hausa try this in these two idiots state?

More money for those in power and their collaborators. More state and federal contracts to fix damages and purchase new vehicles but most of them will do shoddy job, share and pocket the money, go home and complain about "our leaders" grin grin

Caskdoe:
The masses are the one loosing..people in government lost nothing.
PoliticsRe: Protesters Shut Down Abuja’s Central Business District by Shikena(m): 6:22pm On Aug 01, 2024
Standard strategy. They will allow free rein for the first 2 or 3 days. Then the government will announce some measures to address the listed issues, followed by strong warning on disruption of peace and destruction of public properties. Day 4 upwards na code red, you better stay at home. I no be coward no be for military bullet o grin .

Make her Lagos State Commissioner for Finance today, this very moment, and I give us less than six months to list her at the top of our corrupt bad leaders. She becomes one of our "leaders" who are our real problem.

But today at this moment, she is one of us, not part of this notorious tribe of leaders from South, East, North and West of Nigeria. We are the people and we are the leaders grin
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Bamayi: Protesters Turn Out Enmasse In Kaduna (Photos, video) by Shikena(m): 4:13pm On Aug 01, 2024
Simple arithmetic.

Just another typical show and initial gragra excitement by Nigerians, no different from almajiris forming large crowd for Peter Obi during campaign. When we are ready for change, it will show in our personal lives and our daily conduct. Our leaders are not from the moon grin .

Salewa97:
So, they’ve gathered in Kaduna again? Just another display of how easily our youths can be manipulated.

If only they showed this level of energy for real issues affecting their lives instead of just following the crowd.

Nigeria's politics is a circus, and the protesters are just the clowns.
PoliticsRe: Gunshots As Police Prevent Protesters From Blocking Major Road In Minna by Shikena(m): 4:02pm On Aug 01, 2024
They have fully functional alternative roads in the US. You cannot block a major road without alternatives in the US.

PoliticsRe: Oyo Residents Join Hardship Protest by Shikena(m): 1:31pm On Aug 01, 2024
Mitsurugi:
Do they have an MOU with Killer Herdsmen?
That is exaggerated.

There are big and small farms everywhere across Oyo State and they farm on a daily basis without any issue with any killer herdsmen. The Fulanis on that axis are well known to the local communities and conflicts are quickly resolved.

The problem has been with transportation (Seyi Makinde did well with those roads, truth be told!), middlemen, labour (many don't want to work making it hard to get farm hands), lack of price control, multiple informal taxation while transporting products (police, local government officials, vehicle inspection officers, road safety etc), unstable price of farming tools/items etc.
PoliticsRe: Oyo Residents Join Hardship Protest by Shikena(m): 1:26pm On Aug 01, 2024
Thanks for keeping it peaceful. The objective of a protest is to be seen and heard, the rest is in the hands of the authorities. If hoodlums manage to hijack your protest, don't dig in or be a hero. Get back home as fast as possible! You will live to enjoy the fruits of the protest or you live to protest another day. Shikena!

Fate of every one Nigeria Igbo.
That is not the issue. If you actually bother to go through the list you should clearly see several Igbos there.
SportsRe: Ofili: AFN Leaks Document Submitted To The Nigeria Olympic Committee by Shikena(m): 12:44pm On Aug 01, 2024
Her name is clearly on the list and 100m is part of her events.
Stop being emotional, if this is the true situation then Nigeria is not the one to answer questions. It is IOC.
CrimeRe: Oba Adejuyigbe Adefunmi II Of Oyotunji African Village In US Stabbed By Sister by Shikena(m): 5:25pm On Jul 31, 2024
Ok, thanks for confirming what we, the South Africans, Indonesians, Indians, Ghanaians, Malaysians etc already know about you grin .

Danisaint112:
I expected you to shift the goal post, usual traits of you guys. Attack the Fulanis that are killing your guys on a steady.

Give them notice to leave your land like the way you do to Igbos but you can't because you all don't want to anger your Fulani masters. That reminds me you couldn't even reclaim Kwara and she is currently over compromised.

But you will suddenly have the strength once it has to do with Igbos because you know they are business people and wouldn't want to joke with their business.

Accept the truth, you all are just jealous because the Igbo man is doing as better as you guys and even richer than most years after arriving Lagos broke.
CrimeRe: Oba Adejuyigbe Adefunmi II Of Oyotunji African Village In US Stabbed By Sister by Shikena(m): 4:53pm On Jul 31, 2024
You can only shut your trap if you are not ready for a meaningful conversation. The truth is no one in Yorubaland gives a damn about your opinion until you show true maturity and willingness to move forward. If Yorubas are against your people, several generations of your people wouldn't have thrived successfully among them. Yorubas have no problem with you, you are the ones to review your relationship with the Yorubas with full honesty, something that seems alien to some of you. You can't expect Yorubas to abandon their Yoruba roots in the name of civilization while you cling firmly to yours and your homeland.

Danisaint112:
Can you provide proof where Igbos came together to declare Lagos as theirs, drag it with the Yorubas or kill Yorubss for it just like the way Fulanis do? Can you?

Or you are indirectly telling me you guys lack the balls to face the real people dragging your land with you? Even till the point of sending your Grandpa to Benin republic.
CrimeRe: Oba Adejuyigbe Adefunmi II Of Oyotunji African Village In US Stabbed By Sister by Shikena(m): 1:25pm On Jul 31, 2024
Not sure you live in Nigeria or have a clear understanding of the situation. Sometimes we just have to view things from the other side for clearer understanding.

Yorubas have no problem with Ibos living & prospering in Yorubaland, one of their favorite host destinations for generations. They only frown at political interference. Same as done by Ibos in Ibo land.

Common sense should ask why Ibos? There are huge Ijaw, Hausa, Fulani, Nupe communities and even Togolese, Liberian, Congolese etc in Yorubaland. They are all living peacefully minding their business. Except for some Fulani-Bororos on grazing & crime matters.

It is a very simple matter.

Danisaint112:
Most Yorubas are really annoyingly funny people though. So they can have Obas in the US and UK but frown at anything realted to Eze Ndi Igbo in Lagos a once capital of Nigeria and a cosmopolitan city.

It's this same people (majority) that would still scream racism at the top of their voices but back home they are pro-tribalist which is no different from Racism.

Mehn! The double standard in Nigeria is as clear as the waters of the Maldives.

PoliticsRe: Come Out Openly To Lead The Protest - Bayo Onanuga Tells Peter Obi by Shikena(m): 1:06pm On Jul 29, 2024
Now we should all show some respect to those leaders and activists who were never deterred by the possibility of assassination. They came out boldly for what they believe in cool.

I think the government wants to assassinate Obi and blame it on the protest.
PoliticsRe: Come Out Openly To Lead The Protest - Bayo Onanuga Tells Peter Obi by Shikena(m): 1:02pm On Jul 29, 2024
Abi, to lead protest shouldn't be that difficult. Leadership is not restricted to the comfort zone.

confusedlady:
He did not say it is a crime to protest. He said Buhari Tinubu,Oyegun,Oshiomole, and Soyinka led protests in 2012. Since Peter Obi has endorsed the proposed August 1st protests he should equally lead from the forefront. Simple.
