For real change to come to Nigeria every structure, process and procedure would have to be shaken and turn inside out. Just take a look at the customs, police, immigration etc. When a new CG is appointed he come breathing fire about reforms but some few months down the line it's still business as usual. They are all and have been part and parcel of that institution of corruption. So why won't they protest, because they are intelligent to know that Hameed Ali coming in is to sanitise the system. No more bribes and kick backs. Painfully it's the educated elite that would now by used by these corrupt officials to champion their case. Nigerian is a country with a high level of gullibility.

Before I would make any comment about these appointments can someone help find out about the lifestyle of the new appointees. I read the new oga of Customs still uses or drives a Peugeot 504.

Even though it is entirely wrong for PMB to restrict his appointment to the north, the outcry is loudest for all those that have always seen appointment as an avenue to come and chop. Let's politics and political appointment be constitutional changed to a situation where you don't get paid and your services are for free. I bet you nobody especially from our zone would be interested. So my take as far as I have seen a pastor amongst those being appointed then there is hope.

But one last question would it really matter where the appointees are from? What if we start seeing real development in the country?

Back to the topic i think its very lame for Joagbaje to defend anything here. Honestly i am beginning to get confused about Christ Embassy.
