What a message at 7-0!!Messing coming back from rest to score 5 goals. When next we have a match against RM, pep should rest Messi a game before then and see how he sulks and responds meeting RM |
I hope the 4000 fans of Leverkusen that followed them from Germany are eventually entertained |
Pep has made 3 changes, Messi still playing full time!He doesn't feel tired. I've seen now how Tello can take on defenders after Iniesta gets tired |
GTB is one of the best, but definitely not the best. But they have built a very good brand, and most people want to associate with. I hardly use my accounts there again, except for receiving my dollar inflows! Most banks have similar internet banking platforms, but not well marketed. There is also lots of GTB website phishing going on. I also observed in the past 1-month, most instant payments I made to GTbank accounts are delayed for days or don't even go. But when I ask recipients for First Bank, Diamond Bank etc, the instant pay goes on seamlessly. GTB is trying to go full retail banking using electronic platforms and leaving brick & mortal banking, but we still have years to get to this. The only thing I commend GTBank for is that most cities I've gone, their ATM works 24/7! |
Is this the benefit of Messi resting for a game & return back in superb form?? |

Congrats to RM Fans, especially my friend USBcable for another goal-fest |
My dear friend that wants to join police force, pls give it and try. But more importantly, go for your Phd ASAP! |
@usbcable,I feel people make noises out of nothing in football. My policy over the years is that football is not do-or-die. There is absolutely nothing like referees or football governing bodies influencing who wins what. Not when you are good!! Referees do make mistakes, and I don't see any club that has not benefitted AT ALL from wrong refeering decisions. So there's nothing like what comes around goes around. Play your game to the best of your ability, try to score goals and when you lose, try again. Lazy bones are those that cry wolf all the time when they lose and keep quiet when poor referee decisions favor them. It happens everywhere, to everyone! |
I do not see anything stopping RM from taking LaLiga this season. They'll only lose against Barca at The Manita in April and then go on to win the Laliga. That way, Murinho can leave with his head high to England |
That is to put more pressure on my dear Pep Guardiola. Please Pep, don't leave Barca. Let Benitez handle chelsea. You don't need go for another battle with Murinho in EPL. |
There's what Lawyers call 'precedence'. If this is proven, the backlash might be huge. Maybe timpriye sylva can get call details records showing communication records between The Presidency & Supreme Court Judges;maybe CPC and ACN can get CDRs showing communication between Presidency/Top PDP chieftains and Jega of INEC, |
Nigeria has mineral deposits everywhere. But what will attract investment capital is if the site owner or miner has proven commercial viability of the mineral deposits. |
Thanks Usbcable to cabling into our celebration. you know fully well correct answers to that question. If Platini was for Barcelona, we won't have lost to Osasuna Feb 11. The referee disallowed Alexi's fine goal, and allowed their second goal which was offside. Spanish FA would have easily handed the game to Barca that game(3 points). Also, pepe clearly handled the ball against Getafe on Feb 4th and referee didn't give Getafe penalty to take two points away from Real Madrid. Now how on earth should I believe that Spanish FA is not giving RM this league this year to reduce the noise they made last season?? |
Up Barca!! 10-men Barca thrills and without Messi!! |
Who are Platini's kids- RM or Barca?? Which club got plenty penalties given this season? Which ones had penalties against them overlooked? And then check-out the club that had disallowed goals even while having 7-points deficit? |
Nice Goal!! |
Good initiative. Any way out to create employment should be applauded, instead of outright criticism. I'm happy The Poster knows Nairaland so well and prepared for the negative responces |

If 1000 Nigerians travel to abuja daily from Lagos to Abuja, I can assure you 90% go by road, the remaining 10% by air. |
There is noi big deal in driving from Lagos to Abuja and back. Many of us do this regularly. Just leave lagos early say by 6-7am,and when returning back, if possible avoid entering lagos-ibadan on friday evenings when redeem have program in their camp. Such has made some of us understand Nigeria fully.when you talk about accidents, its God that keeps us all. I've seen lots of accidents on the road from abuja airport back to town. Same with kidnapping on that same abuja airport route. Ride a good car with your a/c, most cars don't consume much on the highways with a/c, you can have 20-25 miles per gallon. For flights, if you book well ahead, you can get 10-12k one-way ticket from aero or air nigeria. Sure, you can use SAT NAV and without it, just ask around when on the road. Use Option 2 mentioned earlier, that's the best route to abuj. |
Bauchi CAN denies alleged arrest of members with explosives Tweet March 1, 2012 | 4:33 pm News Bauchi – The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bauchi chapter, has refuted reports that explosive devices were found on some of its members at the COCIN church at Miya Barkate in Toro Local Government Area of the state. Addressing newsmen in Bauchi on Wednesday, the state chairman of the association, Rev. Lawi Pokti, said some church members were aggrieved over the relocation of the Local Church Council headquarters from Tilden Fulani to Miya-Barkate. He said series of meetings were held between Feb. 5 and Feb. 25 to resolve the issue so that the headquarters would be returned to the former place (Tilden Fulani). He explained that on Feb. 26, seven members from the congregation of Tilden Fulani “came to find out the outcome of the meeting the previous day, and as they were being briefed by the reverend in charge, Rev. Adamu Azi, one Danjuma Sabo (a member of the congregation) went and sat outside’’. Pokti quoted Azi as saying that the alleged device was seen near him (Sabo) by worshipers coming into the church who raised alarm with shouts of ‘bomb! bomb!!’. He said the shouts attracted the attention of other worshippers, members of the public and security officials. Pokti said the association was disturbed by the conclusion from certain quarters that members of the church came to bomb their place of worship. “No weapon was found on any of the arrested members, except the suspected device found near Danjuma Sabo,’’ the chairman stressed. “We call for a thorough investigation into the matter to unveil the sponsors of Danjuma Sabo and to know where he got the suspected device from. “We advise that a thorough investigation be carried into the incident before making official statement.’’ It will be recalled that the police in Bauchi issued a statement on Sunday, alleging that eight members, belonging to a faction of COCIN church in Unguwan Ring area of Tilden Fulani town in Toro council had been arrested in connection with plans to bomb the church. The police said an improvised explosive device was recovered from one of the suspects. (NAN) |
1. Why do we think the body the police shown is not one of those dead from the bomb blast? Who says with 100% confidence its the body of the bomber? 2. Have we not heard from COCIN church Bauchi that they were the ones that called Police & handed over the bickering church members to Police? And that the members did not make any attempt to bomb the church? 3. Who says police in each state command are not appraised based on Boko Haram attacks? The less the boko haram attacks In your command, the higher your performance appraisal? |
Everyone here knows the truth. The fact is just that if christians have guns, bombs and explosive devices, then lots of mosques would be blown up on daily basis. We have seen Shekau on several occassions saying that they will only stop if Sharia is upheld in Nigeria and President Goodluck becomes a moslem. All the Boko Haram suspects arrested so far have not denied been BH or Moslems(you even notice the dark praying mark on their foreheads). I repeat clearly that the mob will not kill that guy if only he was shouting 'Jesus, Jesus'. Some of us have faced mobs in Kano and Plateau State & know that QUESTIONS are always asked by Muslim/Christian Mobs before you are killed/shot. There are thousands of worshippers in COCIN Jos that day, and the dead body the police brought out had his wife & children in church same day, and even the Plateau Commissioner of Info that was rough-handled for trying to protect the killed man is shocked that the police is saying the man is a member of the church. Haba! |
From a friend in Bauchi:I had just finished a two hour meeting with Rev Lawi Pokti, the CAN chairman in Bauchi at the COCIN center, Bauchi this afternoon. What I learnt was that the seven people arrested were among members invited by the local church to a peace meeting following disagreements over the relocation of the LCC from Tilden Fulani to Miya Barkate, after the post election violence of 2010. During the meeting, Danjuma, one of those arrested was noticed acting suspiciously. He was said to be holding an object that drew suspicion and women raised an alarm and attacked the suspects, shouting bomb, bomb. The Police were then invited by the church leadership to calm down the situation. The police were quick to conclude that the object was a powerful IED that the suspects planned to detonate. We also gathered that contrary to some media reports no weapons were retrieved from the suspects. We helped draft a text for Rev Pokti for a press conference where we highlighted the various contradictions and the usual hasty conclusions that have now become the trademarks of CP Aduba. The suspects were still being detained by Bauchi Police |
Clearly, aside the SSS, it appears The Nigerian Security System is unreliable. I personally find it difficult that the mob will attack a christian or COCIN church member. I am sure the dead body shown is that of the church member affected by the Bomb Blast. Why Am I sure? Those that attend COCIN church are mostly from Plateau State, few from Benue, Kaduna and Nasarawa States. Also, during religious-toned mob action, you will quickly call the name of Jesus or speak the native language or recite memory verse if you are a christian and confronted by christian mob and you will be set free. If you are moslem and its a Muslim Mob, they look to see if you have the praying mark on your forehead or you recite some passages from Quran.you are hardly killed by mob of the same faith! |
You are a rare gem & do keep it up. Please assist with this VIN:SAJDA01P41GL91674 |
It won't work linking Boko Haram to Christians: The Islamist sect Boko Haram said it was behind Sunday’s suicide bomb attack outside a church in the central city of Jos, and warned of more such assaults. “We carried out the attack on COCIN church in Jos today and we did what we did as part of our resolve to avenge the killings and dehumanisation of Muslims in Jos in the last 10 years,” spokesman Abul Qaqa told reporters in a conference call. |
At least Messi will have a forced rest next match.I don't foresee us losing any match again this season, whether we use Main Team or Team B.Including the Laliga match against RM, we will win |
Yes, Middle-Belt has learnt from Niger Delta that minorities also have strengths. Kudos to the Beroms and the Tivs presently fighting the Fulanis tooth and nail and warding off their invasions |
Plateau State Comm of Info, Yiljap Abraham mobbed as he tried to prevent a soldier from being lynched to death. The suicide bomber was said to have driven in a Golf along with a "soldier". He was said to have dropped the soldier by the gate of the church before forcing himself into the church premises.Eye witness said the bomber was carrying an industrial gas cylinder in the booth, but while forcing his way into the premises, the gas cylinder which probably was aimed at enhancing the impact of the bomb fell off a distance before the bomb detonated. The bomber and two church members were said to have been killed while several others were injured. Many vehicles were also said to have been destroyed. The soldier who was said to have been arrested and was almost lynch. The Plateau state commissioner of information who was said to have attempted to prevent lynching of the soldier was allegedly manhandled by the angry crowd. It was learnt that unlike the check tight security always mounted during the Hausa service, that was not the case during the English Service. The bomber may have capitalised on the lapses to carry out the dastardly act |
