When Erastus Akingbola blew the whistle then that Saraki made Sanusi to be CBN Governor through his man Musa Yar'Adua, no-one acted.
Next, we saw Lai Alabi become Sanusi-Appointed MD of Intercontinental Bank..
Of course, we saw Lai Alabi write off Saraki's Debts..

Even though capital can be raised, the logistics to supply that quantity will not be worth it in a country where rails are not working but rely heavily on haulage trucks.
Once handled a 5,000 tons a month supply and it was a great headache just for 3 months!

Blackheritage: you make me laugh...who in d world can say Morihno is 2nd to him...during his 4yrs reign at barca, morinho and his boys both at millan, Chelsea and Madrid dented 2. So what are u talking abouthuh Even his two yrs successful reign is accorded with controversy winning... " 2010 semi final" with Chelsea..
Who is better is relative, but I'll use what can be marked in figures and hence objective:

1. How many matches in total between Mourinho and Pep? Who has won more? Who has lost more?

2. How many trophies in total does mourinho has? How many trophies in total does Pep have?

3. How many trophies did Mourinho win in his first league club as manager? How many did Pep Win?

Give me these figures and let's mark them. Do figures lie??

teskyg: Pls,point of correction.Pep has not won any cle3 trouphy.Uefa awareded hom trouphies. We need him to replicate 20 percent of his third part acievement in another league before we will ranked him amoung succesful coaches.
If that is how Uefa dashes Trophies, then we will start seeing that maybe none has won Champions League. Your man Mourinho that says all these because of his tactics had lots of those "uefaMourinho' decisions helping him to win the two champions league, especially his first at Porto.

let me give you some UEFA Champions League highlights that benefitted Mourinho:

1. Man Utd-Porto 2004 (CL last-16): Paul Scholes goal scandalously disallowed

2. Porto-Deportivo 2004 CL Semi-Finals: Andrade red for playful kick on friend Deco

3. Inter-Chelsea 2010 CL last-16: Samuel last-man trip on Salomon Kalou

4. Inter-Barca 2010 CL Semi-Finals: Milito offside turns out to be tie-winner

5. Barca-Madrid 2011 Copa final: Pepe should have seen red in final win

Even this year 2012, so many scenes we've seen with Real Madrid that Mourinho usually would have called for offside-goals and Red cards if they were against his team. I still laugh at marcelo's two-legged challenge against a Bayern Munich player in the first leg. Clear Red card.

so if you focus on things like these, you will keep blaming referees for loosing. For me, you either win or you lose after the final whistle.

Despite all these, pep and mou won the champions leagues they were crowned champions. Only parochial football followers deluge themselves that uefa dashed A or B!

Pep started winning titles same year he started coaching Barca B
Pep started winning titles same year he started coaching Barca Senior Team.
Pep was the first in Spain to win a treble..
Xavi was regarded as useless by the previous coach Frank Rjikaard.

Quotes:

1. Di Matteo said: “I think he’s a role model as a coach for every young manager.

“What he has achieved in such a short period of time I’m not sure anyone else can actually replicate that.

“History tells us that it’s difficult to replicate the culture of a club into a different club.

“So he might be the first to do it but if you look back at the history of football it’s proven very difficult to do it.”

2. Pep after signing for Barca B team: “I didn’t have any other offer and for that I must thank Barca, because if they hadn’t come looking for me, I’d be sitting at home. The first thing I want to do is transmit the pride and honour that I feel at being involved with this club again. I don’t view this as working in the third division, but working for Barca B. The players shouldn’t think they are playing in the third division, but pushing at the doors of the first team.

3. Pep during his first game at BARCA B: There was a telling moment before the first home game, in the 15,000-capacity Mini Estadi about 100 metres from Camp Nou. His enthusiastic players were trying to impress in training and Guardiola could be heard shouting: “I don’t want you all trying to dribble like Leo Messi - pass it, pass it and pass it again. Pass precisely, move well, pass again, pass, pass, and pass.

“I want every move to be smart, every pass accurate – that’s how we make the difference from the rest of the teams, that’s all I want to see.”

4. Fabregas: “Although I only was with him for 1 year it felt like a lot more. For me Pep was my hero as a kid and an inspiration as a manager. Thank you for the little time we spent, I will cherish it always.”

and the story continues.....

Johnsinia: Someone wud argue, what of sir alex farguson who ve stayd in(one club) utd 4 many yrs?isn't he dsame wit pep who ve only stayd few yrs in barcell n ve won 13 trophies.
The answer is- No,they are nt dsame.saf achievemt in man utd n pep achievemt in barcell are different.saf work very hard 4 his records n den proof himself as d best n most achieved manager ever in d world while pep work little or nothing for his records in barcell.OK,let me prove my point; saf came 2 united wen liverpool was d dominate team in Epl.man utd was in their shadow den wit little trophies 2 their possessions.the managemt of man utd were lukin 4 a manager who culd atleast challenged liverpool 4 their overdominance in Epl,what a huge task.A good manager pick up hard challenges n nt tryin to run away frm them, saf took d challange n even increase his task by promising 2 dethrone liverpool.Due 2 d calibre of players(average players) he had as at that time he find it difficult for 5 trophless seasons bt he continue 2 work harder 2 build d team.
Today he ve nt only dethrone liverpool but ve overtakem them.saf is d reason why man utd is man utd today.
Back 2 pep guadiola.pep inherit an already made team wit super stars like messi, inesta, xavi, puyol, eto n alot more who ve won the champions league n laliga tittle with former manager frank.barca ve been known 4 their tick tak game long b4 pep came.just as mourinho said "any manager wuld won the same with the type of players availlable to pep".
If u argue dat pep is the best coach, then, can u freely say dat pep is d reason barcell is barcell today-No,rather pep just join d already existin thread bt one can freely say dat saf is d reason man utd is man utd today likewise arsene wenger is d reason arsenal is arsenal today also mourinho is d reason madrid is stepin up in their game n are challangin barcell real hard unlike b4 he came 2 madrid where barcell is completely dominating them.
Points of Correction!
Pep was recruited when the previous coach was giving barca a STEEP decline!
Pep did not inherit all the players he mentioned. As a matter of fact, bulk of present Barca team players you called Super-stars were groomed by him. I am sure you have read Xavi's interview. He was a complete Reject seen unusable by the previous coach and now used by Pep to become the engine room of the new barca. From his first assignment as Coach of Barca B, pep has been known for starting the doctrine of Pass, Pass excellently and Dont Lose the ball!!
and he won titles both in his first time as Coach of Barca B and Barca first team. He doesnt say first year is for experiment and second year winning titles.
How many goals did Messi score under Frank Rjikaard?

Hahaha>>who told you that Pep copied Arsene Wenger? Go and read his speech when he signed to work as Barca Coach B just after he finished his training as a coach and obtained license. He trained them all to PASS and not lose possession. Arsene is not about possession but only passing. Two different styles! Pep plays mostly with False 9 and cluster football. Arsene wenger always plays with a 9 top striker. Even fabregas confessed last month that he's learning many new things again at Barca(and he was at La masia before!)

It is not a criteria for becoming the best coach. Do you think Mourinho or Sir Alex Ferguson will also waste their time to work with a middle-table team. You must be dreaming!
In case you don't know, he groomed most of the players you called star-studded in La Masia.
Even Shaibu Amodu will also win treble in his first season with Real Madrid given the presence of red-hot two former world footballers of the year and a cheque to assemble the most expensive first 11!
Pep is a man who knows what he wants, he was always signing 1-year contracts and even wanted to leave after last season.
It is not any chelsea loss that affected him. He is on his way to rest and bounce back!

Olalekan 0: Pep needs to prove himself at a mid-table team before he can be rightly judged "one of the best thinkers" as even chairman christian chukwu would win trophies in that star-studded barca side.

Only biased haters can degrade Pep. With time, you will understand that he's one of the best strategists ever in football. Is it easy to win a treble in your first assignment as a league club coach?Did Mou achieve that?
Another coach looking for money would have gone ahead to sign with another club(he has loads of offers!), but he is spending 1 year to go back and invent another style of football. I wish he can be on retainer with Barca after his 1 year leave. Any club that lands him then will have a treasure in their hands.
He knew since he'll leave end of this season;you can understand his numerous experiments with 3-4-3 and also honing the skills of La Masia guys like Thiago, Tello, Cuenca etc thus bequeating some assets to the new manager. And you can also see him involved in getting a new coach for the club. I doff my hat for Pep!!

Reference: Theoretically, there should be a craving for Plan B..
Empirically, you have a formular that has worked for you 98/100.
When it keeps working, you are praised. When it doesn't work those 2/100, it is because there is no plan B??
I will still praise him. To be intelligent enough to create a pattern of play also means you know it needs modification when it starts failing..and this is now his real test of creativity.
And again, if you have a good plan but those excuting it are failing..does it mean plan is bad?? In the last 2 matches, you have lots of strikers missing sitters. Meaning the plan was still working!
I remember when Jose Murinho lost the match against Barca early season, was he not called all sort of names that rumor has it that he was on way out? He now rose up after and now secures wins and he's now angel.
Somehow, I still have confidence in Pep and he will learn from the mistakes.

Said it quite a while ago. I seriously doubt Pep's tactical ability for two reasons. One, there is never a plan B. It is always about player power, throw players in and hope they can outposses the opposition. When the end goal doesn't come the chap is appears always lost.

This causes the second problem, the team and by extension the teamwork is increasingly built around Messi. He is taking far too much importance than an experienced manager should permit. This is strategically dangerous. We know that the powers of Andres and Xavi are on the wane due to age and injury. This does not however mean Messi should play 8, 9 and 10 at the same time. Poor coaching.

This has led to the third and obvious result, Messi is burnt. At 24 he's played far too many games at such high intensity that if Pep cannot reform the situation he might just go the way of Patrick Kluivert. Messi needs a rest, the team needs a rest. Success has its limits and penalties.

Read the post very well...where did I mention that Alex Ferguson has ONLY coached Man United?
The point is clear-with the successes he's achieving at Man United(far bigger than Aberdeen), he needed not leave for vacant positions elsewhere to prove himself even though Jose Murinho won the League with Porto and also came to England to win.
He need not copy Murinho. Simple. Same way Pep need not copy Murinho!
It is more respectful if you stay and rebuild a team than leave for another club to assemble establsihed stars!
Point of correction: Sir Alex Ferguson created grade records as coach of Aberdeen bewfore signing for Man United. Aberdeen was an unknown team and hadn't won anything for decades before Ferguson got there. When he arrived he pushed the traditional leaders, Celtic and Rangers to the background and rule the league for year and also won European title for Aberdeen before joining Man United. He is a genius!

Yes, Congrats to Real Madrid for good display today. Nothing special, just same way clubs know how to beat Barca on set pieces and Counter attacks.
Do we have any regrets??Not at all!! This is a team we've beaten silly on their home soil and they just beat us today. Who ever said we are invincible??
It is just a setback, and quote me, Barca will come back stronger.
Pep initiated the cluster-style football that took 4 years for people to find solution to.
And who says Pep not good?? Definitely good. He knows which player to bring from bench to score against RM. Sanchez, pedro, ibrahim affelay have done it. And of course, he bought two players that in their first elclassico punished Real Madrid.

Please enjoy your win..that's the fun in football. Some of us don't watch with our hearts but with our heads so that even when we lose, it is just a game.

I also do not agree that Pep should leave Barca to prove himself. Hey, this is his first league club and he won lots right from his first season. He is one of world's great like JM and Ferguson. Alex Ferguson never left Man United and he's reverred and one of the best ever. Pep, you are good and can stay with Barca for live without proving to anyone. Most of these players were discovered by you. Unlike other coaches that buy already established players, you have a way of grooming and moulding players. Even today that we lost, you brought a player from the bench that scored immediately. I have seen you doing this with Pedro and Ibrahim Afellay in different El classicos. Even in the first El-classico this season, your newly bought players Fabregas and Sanchez were those that wrecked havoc.
Stay in Barca, discover another winning formular and invent another style of play and you will always be respected!

We should appreciate our own, abeg! Mikel Obi was one of Chelsea's best yesterday(together with Drogba, Cech and Ashley Cole).
He completed the highest number of passes in yesterday's chelsea team and covered one of the best distances in the team. With a defensive chelsea strategy, how will you say Mikel was weak when his work is to ball break and do the dirty job? Given his role and the team strategy, give Mikel a good pass mark.
Was just wondering though what would have happened if Barca as the away team played a defensive strategy like chelsea, what would have happened?
