@reference, read Jose Murinho's comment after the match. he feels it should have been 1-1. he sees the first goal as offside, but doesnt see the contentious yellow cards that should have been red cards. He doesnt believe anyone is better than him, he only loses due to Referees! |
Jose Murinho Is a bad loser! Used to admire him before but with each passing game, he keeps disappointing him. I havent seen him praising his opponents anytime he loses. even the Bayern Munich match that he was outplayed, he still blames the refereeing, even when sergio ramos and marcelo were doing karate kicks and should haev seen red. haba! It is getting too much. We know he is good, but people are getting to respect Fergie and Pep more.. All these name calling of Barca is orchestrated and championed by Jose, and we can chronicle several poor refereeing decisions that have aided him to win trophies and matches! For Barca fans, lets keep supporting our team and enjoy their revolutionary style of play, win or lose! |
The only reason I do not believe Barca are favored by referees is simply because there are also LOADs of referee decisions against them that affected them:wrong penalties against them, many goals ruled as offsides. It is just a propaganda started by Murinho(who doesn't believe anyone wins him without referee assistance)! In Spanish Liga, this year we saw messi and sanchez goals against osasuna and getafe ruled as offside. This year we saw messi getting 5 yellow cards, even when they were trailing Real Madrid. In the said Chelsea match of 2009, Anelka dived and Barca given Red Card. Thierry Henry was pulled down with two hands in the box and same referee did not give Barca a penalty kick. Is it Man United or Chelsea that have not overwhelmingly benefitted from referee decisions? In recent weeks, we have seen clear red cards against Real Madrid not awarded, even penalties against them not awarded. But because its not against Jose Murinho, you won't hear such noise. Ashley Young's Dive still fresh on our minds, Di Maria of Real Madrid is king of diving, Chelsea's goal against Tottenham still attracting goal-line technology; Barca got knocked out by an offside goal scored by Milito. Jose Murinho's Porto had Deco bring down a player that should have been a clear red card not given. So which club has not benefitted from wrong referee decision? It is just cheap excuses and an orchestrated champaign championed and spread by Jose Murinho who's bitter Barca did not engage me. I agree referees make mistakes, but it is to all CLUBs, not just Barca. Let's stop insulting Uefa, Fifa, Spanish FA or English FA. They are not fools; these guys run institutions over the years. And if it is money needed to influence referees, then Chelsea, Man United, real madrid, Man City, Malaga etc will be winning all the titles! |
RM just played their first real match at Uefa this year. And Howard Webb did well not to give them a Red Card nor Penalty against them depsite lots of Di Maria diving, sergio ramos and marcelo doing some form of Karate Kicks. RM should buckle up because Bayern have potential to also win at Barnebau. |
Its only Jealousy that makes all these fans give such names and pour venom on Barca. Mention your club, and will dig out archives of many controversial referee decisions in your favour. Because Barca hardly complains?? In the first half of this match, alexis had a clean penalty claim not given and barca did not shout to heaven. Do you know how many penalties rejected this season that were in Barca's favour? And many goals scored ruled offside that made Barca lose games? I can't remember seeing any penalty given at the champions league finals when Barca repeatedly beat Man United. Were Barca not eliminated once with an offside goal against them? During the last matches Barca had with Chelsea, John Terryused two hands to pull at Henry's shirt inside the box and referee did not give penalty, yet when Anelka dived, Barca's Abidal was promptly given red card. Ballack had a yellow card and committed some more fouls and was only given warnings instead of another yellow card/Red Card. Let us not destroy football with our selfish intents, all because Murinho started this propaganda. It is an insult to established institutions like Uefa and Spanish FA. No good club loses due to referee decisions. Tired of hearing Man United been called Howard Webb or PDP. And even Man United fans still call Barca PDP. These are insults to football. I also saw yesterday Chelsea having a controversial goal. So Chelsea fans can as well agree that Roman keeps bribing officials?? |
Congrats to Chelsea fans!! But note these: 1. Don't be saying you are underdogs against Barca, so if they beat you, just accept they are better. U can't be underdogs after beating Tottenham silly! 2. Don't complain against refereeing! Today, u saw referee dashing you a goal that many people call controversial. Just accept that football will always be such. Don't use referees as excuse when you lose. 3. Remember the last time you lost against Barca, John Terry practically used two hands to pull Henry's shirt and yet to penalty given to Barca. Anelka dived and Barca's player Abidal was given a red card. Also, Ballack was refused another yellow card during the game that should have made him sent off. In the light of the above, enjoy Uefa semi-final and don't claim any bias when you lose. If Barca lose, you will not hear of any bias! |
@Deji, yes, some of us got the same email and it had long be mentioned that the award will be on April 12. From Youwin website, it is a subset of the awardees that are invited for the Presidential Banquet |
Yes, I also got the invitation. The Youwin website mentioned that a subset of awardees are invited. Deji35: My wife got the mail below after previously being selected as a potential awardee. Anyone with same? |
@Fortran 12, I can send you a clean HD copy of the match so that you can rewind 50 times and see the match. I guess you saw yours in a viewing centre seating at far back and relying on people's comments |
@Fortran 12. Your statement already shows ignorance, saying ball was far away from the players when Nesta Tugges Sergio's shirt. But you saw Barca's Cuenca getting a yellow card when he tugged at AC milan's player who was between him and the ball? Uefa rules are clear. Pulling an opponent's shirt is a foul!! fortran12: barca cant score clean goals its always controversial penalties and offside goals, the ref was inconsistent, is this the first time that one shirt was pulled? the shirt was pulled far from where the ball was so how come it was a penalty |
Cheap Propaganda against an exciting team. Yet when Barca was eliminated penultimate champions league courtesy of Milito's offside goal, barca didn't complain and prepared harder for last year's champions league. Where then is fair play? So referee should look away because it is Barca? May your opponents tug at your player's shirt and bring them down inside the box in a way the referee will wave 'play on'! |
All those saying Ojoro are just afraid of Barcelona. Can a referee blow penalty if a player does not go down??please encourage your players to pull opponents shirts inside the box till the player falls down and then tell the referees not to award penalties. Mscheew |
Opponents consoling themselves that uefa is giving penalties!mscheew. If uefa wanted to help Barca, why didn't they give clear penalty first leg when alexis was brought down?? First penalty today again 100% clear decision. I am watching on my two TVs, supersports and joysports. You can also listen to the commentaries. The 2nd penalty is optional for a referee, can be a penalty and might just be a yellow card. That guy kept pulling sergio busquest even when Puyol was trying to seperate them. Haba, what an experienced defender will do that. Yoruba proverb says if your name is folorunsho doesn't mean you should climb palm tree and hang free, u will fall. You know how slippery Barca can be, and yet you commit silly mistakes inside 18. |
Of course, our dear Pep has said it that we should expect Milan to come and score, so Barca is prepared to score and score! |
Ochek: Sure, I know that. That also is parochial. It is better to relate someone's wealth obtained while working legitimately than citing business names. How many of our seemingly sized businesses actually have comfortable liquidity/profitable lines government patronage? All the businesses the poster mentioned were not doing well, just big-sized! I can agree that Tinubu lives well beyond his easily traced incomes, but that applies to all |
I am not holding brief for Tinubu, and I trust ACN's Lai Mohammed to fire back. But is it compulsory for someone to own businesses before contesting an election in Nigeria??Can't someone work for years and then come to contest?? |
Lead Ore is not Precious Stone, but solid mineral. We can deal with you if u're genuine and good quality. Where are you based? |
Need more details. Let's hook up since you are in Jos. Do you have a domiciliary account attached to your websurfer account? |
Hi poster, it might be better to indicate the MINIMUM supply by exporter. It will be challenging for anyone to handle logistics of 50,000mt per month when we use haulage trucks in tranches of 30 tons in Nigeria. Also specify your quality specifications! |
Youwin is not all about money. Most of the issues raised by the poster are incorporated into the Youwin Model. After the initial idea selection scrutiny, those selected were given COMPULSORY week-long MBAlike training. Only those that attended the training on Business Skills relevant to Nigeria were considered for the final grant. Those with good ideas but did not attend the training were not considered. All training attendance are backed-up by Biometric data capture. Also, eventual winners will be attached to Mentors in their line of business and grants given gradually based on deliverables acheived. The worldwide acclaimed Worldbank Business Tookit was also given to all the 6000 trainees. With the above on my mind, I know that the project team have considered most issues raised by the poster. The angel investors and seed-capital providers at Silicon Valley and Wharton Business School also follow these steps. |
I support that Beaf should be acknowledged for bringing Youwin to the fore on Nairaland and passionately promoting it. Many here applied and won based on this without having any Rich folk or Political Godfather to assist. Many that did not win also benefitted from Life-Changing training programme they were exposed to at the Second Stage. Beaf, Nairalanders appreciate you for this. |
It was clearly stated during training that disbursement will be in phases and based on meeting deliverables at each stage. Every awardee is to be in a cell with professional monitoring and mentoring by Youwin agency, selected financial institutions, zonal industry leaders and employed cell monitors dedicated solely for that purpose. For Youwin team that addressed us during the training, they were mostly drawn from the private sector with niche pedigree from companies like McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, Andersen and even Academics from Wharton etc |
Yeah, was never in doubt of the Integrity of the programme. I checked my name and its on the list! Thumbs up GEJ on this, Thumps up Dr Okonjo-Iweala and Thumps up to all Naija Entrepreneurs! |
Now RM fans will understand what it means to have lots of games to play aside LaLiga games. Playing Malaga few days after playing CSKA Moscow and they dropped points! Barcelona had World Club Cup earlier in the season and u think the players were robots? |
If I can still remember clearly, Dbanj that I watched way back 2004/2005 was just a small flute guy with the 419 squad having Kunle and Queen back in the UkM Then I later heard one Don-Jazzy from USA took him away, signed him on, polished him and came out with the Hit Tongolo. So I find it difficult to believe that Don-Jazzy will 'suffer'. Have we not heard Wande Coal and Dr Sid releasing hit songs??is that not Don-Jazzy's 'efforts'?? And I just remembered Dbank had issues with Mike Adenuga that made the man angry and whittled-down his Glo Ambassador contract, because Dbanj became pompous..so what do I need to see that Dbanj is not the one screwing up the business relationship?? |
Who says Platini is favoring RM and Barca? Was Barca not handed the most difficult tie of the Quarter Finals? Don't Judge AC Milan based on their last match at Emirates. They are top 4 contenders for this year's UCL |
I won't be surprised if other DIGs/AIGs/CPs refuse ro board police surveillance choppers again. Maybe they'll rely on other ranks to board, undertake surveillance and seat in their office waiting for graphic reports |
That statement na Initial Official Shakara. Stereotyped! Atimes we throw away our hat of corporate supposed-be and shine our eyes to see realities. They did the same thing when Zain/Bharti Airtel staffs were protesting in Abuja. Eventually, same CNSSL bowed to pressure. Jos was having the so-called upheaval when they came to set-up. The MTN office they're co-locating with in Jos is strategic for them so they need Jos more than Jos needs them. They had base in Kano and Kaduna even before Jos so they could have ignored the 'social upheaval town' then. |
VIN Please |
You only need Export Certificate from Nigeria Export Promotion Council |
If Christians truly have bombs, how come Mosques in Apapa, Auchi, shagamu, sabo etc have not been bombed even in error or making money like some theorists in this thread are claiming?how come Shekau keeps coming out saying they won't cease-fire until Nigeria becomes an Islamic State and GEJ turns to Islam? |
Initially, the STF in Jos briefed the press that the man lynched WAS NOT THE BOMBER, but a member of the church lynched in error by the mob. Days after, DHQ now says the man is THE BOMBER and a member of the church. It would have been better for them to just keep quiet! |
