The proponent of equal prize money, Billie J King fought on the basis of non-discrimination on gender but conveniently left out the part where men and women play different number of sets (3 for men and 2 for females)
It is almost impossible for men to play in both singles and doubles categories while the women do it routinely
Vika won the mixed doubles in the Olympics and got to the final
Serena and Venus won the Olympics doubles while serena won the gold
 
Let the woman play 3 sets, then the equality of prize money is valid

The equality of the prize can only be challenged on the basis of the no of sets an individual has to win to win a match. 3 for males, 2 for females. That's the only argument.

For the record, it's ridiculous comparing Nadal to Serena. Nadal is of course the better player but Serena is more of a legend to the tennis game than Nadal or Novak.

Btw, who cares if the prize money for both sexes is equal? Just win it jare!
