For me, personally, the reason why I pay tithe is not because the Bible commands it or not. I pay tithe just to show God that I am grateful for provision and would willingly give a part of it to show my gratitude. I know how poverty dealt with me in the past and how God intervened to make me swim in the abundance I have now. So for someone like me, tithing is an act of gratitude to God and no propaganda can make me stop paying tithe.

There is so much controversy about payment of tithes because some pastors chose to preach tithe by instilling fear and telling congregants "the Bible commands it". They failed to approach and teach tithing from a place of deep love for God and willingness to give. Nobody should be compelled to pay tithe. Rather, pastors should focus on genuinely winning the hearts of congregants to have genuine love for God and they wont have to compel, force, preach, harass or guilt-trip them into paying tithes.

Payment of tithe should come from a place of deep love for God and not because a pastor said the Bible commands it.

Thanks a lot. You're the only one who has suggested something reasonable on this thread. I was disvirgined violently by an unknown rapist over 20 years ago. I like to believe I've gotten over that experience. Do you think it could have affected me adversely with regards to intercourse?

My mother was a river goddess priestess, one day I went to a stream while maybe 11 to catch a fish and came home to boil it,no matter how I boil it it never seem like it's even about to cook .d fish was even swimming around in the hot water pot. It was strange I ran to tell my mom, she immediately ask where I caught it and I told her she was mad wit me and told me that's a child of river goddess I shud take it bak to the water and hopefully she don't kill me if am a destiny child . That word scared d shit outa me (kill me) I took d fish and ran towards d river on getting Der I saw a very dark cutest being I am yet to see in my life ,she was sitting untop of the river and her hair was so long it went under the water I cudnt see the end. She looked at me and I immediately dropped d fish into d water and it swimmed straight to her and she started sinking into d water and a wind of terrible fear blew me and I was so scared I ran and fell, stand ran fell till I got home .my mom smiled when she saw me that am a true son of the goddess for coming bak alive . Till today I dnt near rivers o cos mom told me any day I near river it will take me away cos am the goddess son . He who say ders no mermaid na cos he Neva jam..the other experience I can't say cos if I say it I will die . I have a friend/cousin who is like that. I discovered the more I correct him, the more he finds a way to avoid me. The more I try to point out the error in his logic, the more he lies and hides things from me. So I stopped probing into his decisions. Now he's opening up a little. I now start agreeing with him on everything. I always suggest other options to him then tell him I trust him to make the best decision. If he messes up, I always let him know he tried his best. Sometimes I knowingly follow him to go do a terrible flop, then try to let him see the effects of it. I usually write down how I think the stuff will play out before we go then when we get back, I let him read it before we work out other options. But what I am doing now is connecting him with good people whose advice he will respect. I don't want to admit he's a slowpoke(I actually just did) because he's a good guy. You can't change some people. And anger won't solve their issue too; they'll only learn to avoid you. They're adults afterall.

Man and woman are both equal in the sense that they are both living being created in God's image. They are only different functionally. They ought to complement each other and not try to function as the other. No matter how great a man is, he can never function as a woman. The position of women as mothers wife and help is a dignified one. Sad the society is being subverted. Women are to be respected in their being mothers and home keepers and not in their doomed attempts at becoming man.

I pity those ignorant, naive men who are fighting for Equality for women. Those idiots don't realize that they are being cheated,the woman you are fighting for,is trying to overthrow your power. She will expect you to man up and fight for her,or Provide when times are hard. But when times are good,they will drag equality with you. Take the Russian/Ukraine war as a case study. The women are allowed to leave,but the men are mandated to stay. Not a single feminist came out to say women were being Relegated (because they are weak,which is true).
You know why? It is because times are hard,it is war,so they don't have the luxury to be fighting for equality now.

Back then in KG, I'd often see a huge figure like a tall man looking at my sibs and I just before we sleep.

At one time I was communicating with a voice in our parlor. My sibs were all asleep, I could literally hear the voice and would reply, but there was no visible person on sight.
