Till today I dnt near rivers o cos mom told me any day I near river it will take me away cos am the goddess son . You need Jesus in your life. He is the light of the world, follow Him, and you will stop walking in darkness.

I've just completed the last part.

Just like you, I also struggled with masturbation for a long time. I would embark on marathon fasting and 'hot prayers' and it would subside for a while, and later, I'm back into it. It even got so bad it is the day I end the fast that I fall back into this sin.

When I finally got delivered, it still seems surreal: by the Holy Spirit revealing the truth of my identity in Christ as a believer, saved already by the precious blood of Jesus. My mind needed to be revamped and renewed continually by the Word of God. Even when temptations come here and there, I stand in the reality of what God has written concerning me before I even came into existence: the old me is dead and the current "me" is a new man. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Christ in me, the hope of glory! Jesus changed my life and He is still changing it for good!

Let me ask genuinely. What if we are the ones exhibiting the red flags without being conscious of that fact? What does one do about that?

Most times, we are too fixated on having the right person/spouse without thinking if we are also the right person for them. No one ever believes they are the fault, it's always the other person.

It would interest you to know that many people having problems in their relationships are "faulters" without being conscious of this fact. Many people are "closet narcissists" without knowing. But, when things hit the fan, they claim they were innocent and the other person was the fault. This goes for both genders. Lack of accountability is a zero.

I'm just here trying to point out the hypocritical nature of humans while trying to buttress the paragraph where you talked about "red flags awareness". Maybe, just maybe, we should work on being the right person first without wholly focusing on the picture of the other person being the right one for us alone.

Not to digress from the topic, but, perhaps we should be more accountable and introspective about ourselves a bit more whilst being watchful of the other person too.

It ended well, had romance with my manager for months which the MD got to later find out and publicly casted us during general meeting, she said I've got such effrontery and no wonder my boss favours me, threatened to inform her husband and my wife because we were both young couples and got married on the job. After the meeting, we went to meet d hr tendered our resignations with immediate effect and same month salary in lieu forfeiture.

Next day, she called us and insisted she won't be accepting our resignation, and many other talk, we sha continued working and the rest na history.

However we have both left the company but still continued our romance and now working with multinational company as at date.
